A coworker and I each rented one of the two homes for a week-long work trip in Chanute. Both of us remarked how pleasant the spaces were - immaculately clean and modern upon entry. The homes are well-appointed with comfortable living and sleeping spaces. High ceilings and natural light abound during the daylight hours. During our stay, the ambient temperature had lows in the negatives, and the heated bathroom floors were a well-appreciated amenity. Quite the hidden gym in southeast Kansas. The host was always quick to respond, communicating clearly and in a friendly manner. We will be staying here again for future trips.

This is the first time I stayed at this Airbnb. It was very clean. The price was very reasonable. Arin responded and took care of the issue when we couldn’t get the tv to work. I would highly recommend this place.

Very much enjoyed the novelty, comfort, and serenity of this farm home. Very quiet, peaceful, homey and comfy with lots of amenities, including fresh homemade bread and (if the hens are not on strike) fresh farm eggs. Hosts are A+ in responsiveness and proactive with communication (an 8” snowfall came just 3 days before our arrival, and we received timely and helpful status reports about road conditions). Were in town for a February wedding this time but would love to return in the summer or fall!

Marilee was a great host and worked diligently to get the heat repaired prior to our arrival. She was communicative, friendly and conscientious and took extra measures to keep me abreast of their repairs in anticipation of our arrival. We appreciated all her efforts. We enjoyed the funky decor and the functionality of the space. Also was great to have our two very well behaved golden doodles accommodated on our trip across the state.

Karen's place was one of the most pristine units I've ever stayed in throughout all of my Airbnb experiences. The interior design is beautiful, high-end, and functional. I had a short stay, but this place would be a dream for a longer-term stay. I appreciated the host's responsiveness and booklet of local recommendations inside the unit. Thank you for a relaxing stay. :-)

Quaint little getaway home. Nothing extravagant, but thats what we like. A place that feels like a cozy home, not a museum or operating room. We personally loved it here.

BaseCamp has been on my wish list for a very long time and it did not disappoint! The tiny homes are right on the pond and although we didn’t get to do any of the water activities we still got to enjoy the beautiful view. Our cabin was spotlessly clean and was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. We didn’t have the best of weather but there is an awesome communal bike barn a short walk from the cabin with a pool table, board games and a little kitchen that we really enjoyed with our kiddos. The town is a 2minute drive away and we visited the candy shop, coffee shop and the brewery. Overall, an awesome little getaway, hoping we can go back in summer so we can enjoy more of the outdoor activities!

It was close to everything, restaurants, grocery store and to where we were hunting. We stay five days and add a 6th day thought that was high and so many add ons to the total price made it a bit higher per day. Place was nice.
