After some helpful calls with Tibouche, we arrived to a clean and welcoming space that was perfect for my 26th birthday party / New Years' celebration. Tibouche and her husband were very welcoming, and left us to orchestrate things ourselves. I'd recommend this lovely house to anyone wanting to have a big private party, although I'd take advantage of the BnB element of this house more than we did!

Really lovely place to stay - Kitty went above and beyond on making me feel at home and had some really nice conversations too, which was lovely. Highly highly recommend if you're in the area!

Lovely well finished place, nice and quiet and very comfortable. Hosts are very helpful and friendly. Excellent little home from home for a short stay.

Andy & Carol are the most amazing people and nothing was too much. There home was spacious, spotless and so many extra little touches made our stay fantastic. The breakfast was delicious and nutritious and I'm a big breakfast fan. Perfect with so much choice. I would highly recommend for a peaceful break. There garden is extensive will loads for children if you have youngsters. We will be going back this year for sure. Thank you both for making our weekend so enjoyable.

My husband and I stayed at the Old Post Office over the August bh weekend for 2 nights. I was looking to recuperate after a couple of minor operations and it was the perfect choice. The photos do not do the place justice, the kitchen is bigger than it looks and is beautifully fitted with well thought out appliances, a beautiful kitchen and good use of space. The little garden is a sun trap after midday and a lovely place to sit and chat. The bed is so comfy with quality linens and stylish design. Karen permitted a later check out and a full breakfast (and fizz!) was waiting for us in the fridge when we arrived, these touches elevated the experience for us. Wickham Market is only 20 mins from Aldeburgh and the curry house in the village is very good. Had a relaxing break that exceeded our expectations.

Perfect stay for a wedding round the corner in Heybridge. Had everything we needed and Nina was flexible with check in for us :)

The Gate House was very cute and suited me down to the ground. The bed was comfy and plenty of heaters if you needed., it was chilly at night but was freezing out! The roll top bath was lovely. Would recommend :)

Really lovely spot. Travelled to visit Colchester and Dedham Vale. Penny and her husband made my dad and I feel at home in this pretty corner of Essex as we stayed in their open plan barn (lower floor). We were greeted upon arrival despite hold-ups meaning we arrived late and Penny showed us round. Their estate has a beautiful walk around which we made the most of and Penny recommended a number of spots to visit - we enjoyed a walk in a nearby wood. The room was light and comfortable, both beds were more than adequate and I enjoyed the ensemble of paintings and ornaments on display - it felt like a little home for a few days. Would recommend to a friend.

stuart was responsive to messages and gave perfect details to checking in. great location, minutes walk to waterfront/theatres and pubs. only downside was toilets not as vlean as id liked and towel radiators very dusty but admittedly i have high standards! the bedroom needs curtains or black out blinds, the venetion blinds just didnt block out light so we were awake from 7am because of the light. the bed is also very high, we were ok but elderley people/children may have issues getting in and out of the bed. however, overall was a nice apartment and would recommend.

Christina was such a helpful host. She came to meet me at the station to make sure that I got there ok. Her place was lovely - clean & cosy and very well located. I slept very well during my stay and everything that I needed was right in my doorstep. Thanks Christina 🙂

I had a great stay at Hunniya's place. The room was great and it was a very comfortable space for a 2-week stay. Very well located for local amenities with the library right next to it and Tesco just round the corner.

Really enjoyed my stay , both Rachel and Marilyn very helpful and responsive to messages. It was an ideal location personally for me visiting relatives . Very comfortable bed. Lovely to have some provisions for breakfast especially the homemade marmalade . It was good to meet Marilyn the owner who made me feel very welcome.

We enjoyed our two night stay. Nice and quiet neighbourhood and next to a supermarket. Great place to stay on our trip from the ferry to London.

Really lovely apartment with fantastic views. So many great amenities nearby. We really enjoyed our stay and had a lovely weekend in Ipswich. Very comfortable beds and lovely decor in the apartment. Will definitely stay here again if we return to Ipswich. Great communication from the host. Totally recommend a stay here. Thank you!

Wonderful little B&B situated on the island, Victoria was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Breakfast was particularly delicious (with plenty of options) and watching the ducks and chickens roaming the garden provided great entertainment! Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Beautiful area, beautiful house, beautiful room, beautiful lady. Wendy really couldn’t do enough. From the get go she was comfortable to get on with and friendly and knowledgeable. I felt so at home with Frank the dog watching over me the whole time! ‘Make yourself at home’ she said. I did and it felt like home in more ways than one. Fabulously decorated throughout, tastefully planned, easy parking, I would definitely stay again. Thank you Wendy xx

We had a great few days in Bury St Edmunds and would visit here again. The directions to the place were clear and parking was provided. The place was well equipped and had everything we needed.

This was our second stay and we had a very nice relaxing time again, greeted on arrival with delicious tea and cake and made to feel very welcome. We had a fantastic meal on the first night cooked by the very talented Louise and a beautiful cooked breakfast each morning, highly recommend place to stay and hopefully we will come again.

Stevie was very welcoming and a very interesting character to talk to. The accommodation was clean and tidy and felt very much at home. Whenever there was a slight problem it was sorted quickly, without fuss. The surrounding area is beautiful and would thoroughly recommend a stay at Stevies’s.

A gorgeous peaceful house with a gorgeous host! Aly was super responsive and attentive, whilst also being very chilled out which made us feel right at home. The house is so cosy and unique, with Fozzie her beloved pooch co-host around for breakfast belly rubs which was a particular highlight for us :) we loved our weekend stay!

Sophie’s Airbnb was outstanding. A beautiful Georgian house that has been modernised with central heating. We stayed for two nights and were very comfortable. Sophie was a very gracious host. We also enjoyed delicious breakfasts.

Had a lovely few days staying in Lavenham. The rooms, living space with a ‘real’ fire, and the delicious breakfasts made our stay perfect.
