A Perfect Retreat – Twice! I’ve stayed at this Art Truck in the Galtee Mountains twice, and each visit was amazing. The location is peaceful and surrounded by stunning scenery—perfect for a nature escape. The Art Truck is cozy, well-equipped, and the private jacuzzi is a fantastic touch. The hosts are welcoming and ensure a great stay. Waking up to mountain views and exploring the trails never gets old. Highly recommend – I’ll be back again!

Abbiamo trascorso una notte nel caravan, circondati dalla natura. L’alloggio era come da descrizione: piccolo, pulito e con tutto il necessario per la notte. L’host è stata molto gentile nel mostrarci l’alloggio e i luoghi in comune (sala da pranzo e bagni). Questi ultimi sono un po’ la pecca della struttura: i sanitari li abbiamo trovati sempre puliti, ma c’erano molti insetti e ragnatele vicino al soffitto e alla finestra. Ovviamente, essendo immersi nella natura, è una cosa da tenere presente. Nel complesso è stata una piacevole nottata, diversa dal solito!

Beautiful spot to stay in nature. The natural, organic atmosphere of the place really comes through in the caravans. The caravans are clean and we stayed in the most recently renovated one, fully insulated. It was nice and toasty on a chilly September weekend. The dogs and cats are friendly. Fully featured kitchen with showers and bathrooms on site. Lorna, the host, is very kind and accommodating. One of my favourite spots.

It is a great place to stay , very calm and quiet area. There is a nice lake and beaches nearby , those were really surreal. Aidan was patiently waiting for us in late night as we could reach there to checkin by 11 pm in the night. Aidan was always helpful , and he provided us advise on the local attractions, nearby Pub and restaurant,etc. I will be definitely visiting again , also will recommend to my friend's in Ireland.

Lovely cosy caravan in a quiet peaceful location with great views. We had cycled there.. quite a hill up to it. When we arrived Anke showed us the lake there and I got straight in.. very refreshing. We had a very good nights stay .

I recently stayed with Adrian this past weekend and the photos don't do this place justice, it was nice relaxing and peaceful, the hot tub was amazing and if the weather was better would've made more use of the great outdoor facilities such as the BBQ and Firepit, this is a great spot just outside of Athlone and easily found did not disappoint worth ever penny in my opinion

We had such a lovely stay at this cottage. I was a nervous driver, new to Ireland’s country roads, so getting to the house was a little scary, but we loved the privacy the place held once there. Definitely a rustic cabin, but appreciated the supplies keeping the fire roaring for nice hot showers and baths. As an American, I was probably more disappointed by having no freezer or a way to keep ice, but that’s just me. My husband and I enjoyed the nights playing scrabble and reading. Truly a place to be immersed in Irish country bliss.

We had a lovely stay communication from Dom and his son was brilliant Our car was playing up and (young) Dom was able to tell us where to get it checked - although we still had to cut the stay short. Loads of recommendations of places to go from Dom and Mrs Dom we will definitely be back it’s a lovely peaceful place to stay and very helpful hosts 😊

My husband and young son traveled to Ireland for the first time. We rented the CamperRv and it exceeded our expectations. It was comfortable and a perfect way to travel around Ireland. We had no issues with the Camper. Everything was in working order. It is very clean and well equipped. I would definitely recommend Tomas and Lina. Tomas was very helpful with tips and ideas of where to stay and where to go. Unforgettable experience 💚

We're still buzzing from our incredible weekend in the bus in the woods! This little haven was exactly what we needed after a crazy week - we honestly didn't want to leave. Even our wild child Loki (the German Shepherd!) found her zen. Don has thought of everything - the attention to detail, luxurious decor and the croissants and wine were such a lovely touch! The bus was so cosy at this time of year - just perfect for unwinding and making some really special memories. We can't wait to come back when we can use that fire pit and BBQ and we'll definitely be telling all our friends about this magical spot. Thank you Don for creating such a beautiful and unique hideaway.

Everything worked out very well for us. The shower is cramped, but that is what it says on the tin. Stepaside itself is a lovely little village on the edge of Dublin and at the foot of the mountains. Best of both worlds.

We only stayed for one night, but it was such a special experience in nature ! The campervan was cozy, clean, and really well set up. On arrival, we were welcomed with a mini pizza prepared by the host, a basket full of fresh fruit, Nutella, and croissants, and even some drinks like beer and milk in the fridge! The jacuzzi was super warm on arrival , and the barbecue made it feel even more homely. The host were super kind and made sure everything was perfect. Highly recommended for a unique and relaxing stay!

Die Unterkunft war super schön und gemütlich. Ein ganz besonderer Ort in einer schönen abgelegenen Gegend. Carie ist super freundlich. Sie einen sehr liebevollen Ort geschaffen

Went here for a break from everything, by myself. Couldn't recommend it highly enough. Exactly what I needed and the attention to detail was incredible. From the hot water bottle on the bed, everything you could possibly need in the cupboards and the toiletries all fully stocked. The surroundings are beautiful and only a short car drive to any local amenities. Although I didn't have the pleasure of meeting the host she was so attentive with messages back and forth. I will 100% be back as soon as I can .

Wir waren wärend unserer 2 Wöchigen Irlandrundreise an diesem wunderbaren Ort! Unser Ziel war es möglichst abgelegen und einzigartig zu Übernachten. Das ist uns mit diesem Bus gelungen. Wunderbare Unterkunft im Mitten von Nirgendwo. Das In der nähe gelegene Pub war super! Daher war auch die Verpflegung top!

Amazing! Exactly what we were looking for, something quirky and away from reality for a bit! Really clean, has everything you need for a weekend away with a lot of nice little touches! Super cozy and warm, with a nice outdoor space at the year of the bus! Private and separate entrance. A couple of things to do nearby such as Ballysaggartmore Towers, Lismore town, The Vee Pass!

Tracy ist eine sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeberin, sie hat uns alles gut erklärt. Die Gegend ist super zum Entspannen. Gerne wieder!

The pictures really don’t do this place justice. The Tattoo Lady is stunning inside and out, fantastic views and bigger than expected. Karl & Kate have created such a fantastic off-the-beaten track experience here with authentic 1940’s furniture and appliances alongside all the necessary mod-cons. For anyone over 6ft, the bed wasn’t a problem at all.
