La Sirena is as pictured and described in the Airbnb profile. A lovely setting for watching sunsets and hearing the waves. Easy access to the market, local restaurants and bakeries. (Great pastries!) Helen was very patient with answering our questions and always responded quickly. We loved the stunning beaches of Vieques and visited the majority of them. The beaches in the refuge are stellar but be for-warned-the road to La Plata, Pata Prieta is slow going due to numerous potholes. Still worth the trip for the view and the surf. Sun bay was another favorite with its wild horses grazing nearby. We also visited the Black Sand Beach,Mosquito Pier and saw the 300 year old Cieba tree. The bioluminescent bay tour was also a positive experience. If you are traveling back and forth to Vieques via the ferry we would strongly recommend you arrange taxi/uber transport in advance. Also recommend buying your ferry tickets as soon as possible online as the terminals can run out of tickets.

We had a fantastic time at Teressa's Airbnb. The house was absolutely spotless, had all the amenities we needed, and was beautifully decorated. The beds were comfortable and the showers were hot and had good pressure. We were able to easily do laundry and cook breakfast in the kitchen. We didn't get a chance to use the pool but it was very clean and had a beautiful view. The four of us loved sitting out on the huge patio, swinging in the hammocks, and eating our meals each day. What really makes this Airbnb stand out though is our experience working with Teressa and with Marco and Luisa who live downstairs. They were all super friendly and very responsive. There is also a very hilarious cat who lives on the premise and made our time there so much fun. I really don't have a single bad thing to say; we would stay here again in a heartbeat!

The apartment was perfect for 2 people. Although we decided not to cook on this vacation, we found the kitchen was very well supplied. The view was beautiful from the deck as well as the rooftop and the location is a 5 minute drive to Isabel. Recommend this to be a contender while searching for places to stay.

A lovely house -- roomy, yet warm, with spectacular sea views and direct beach access. Evelyn and her property manager, Betty, were a pleasure to work with. Both communicated clearly and in a timely manner. We will happily return. P.S. Sabrina White catered 11 dinners for us. Each was delicious, fresh and well presented. Can't recommend her highly enough. She made our stay even better!

My family had a great time. Julie and her team were very responsive and friendly. The house was perfect and the pool was amazing!!! Very clean place. Washer and dryer were a clutch amenity. Close drive to and from the ferry. We definitely would stay here again!!!!

We had a wonderful time staying on Vieques! The house is beautiful and came with all the amenities we needed, which saved a lot of space in our luggage. We used the pool and walked to the beach across the street. Horses were in front of our house daily and we had great communication from the host. We rented a jeep to get around the island, which was good since the best beaches were on the other side of the island. The only real problem we faced was that we did not have warm water in one of the main bedrooms in the house. We reached out to the host and she was aware of the problem but did not have a solution - we just used the bathroom in the pool house to shower throughtout the trip because it was the only bathroom that had a separate door. The only other thing that we noticed was that it would be easy to get locked in the whole house and not have an emergency exit, which seemed like a fire hazard. We'd stay here again, but considering the price, would look at other options first.

Our family of five loved Casa Mery. It’s nestled in a residential neighborhood, so you get all the perks…roosters, wild horses, and mangoes. We loved that we could walk to dinner. The house was well stocked both in the kitchen and with plenty of beach gear. We had some trouble with our rental car and our host even shared their favorite taxi contact with us. We fell in love with the island and we will be back.
