Words cannot describe our experience at Candelilla. Pictures do not do the villa justice. The view is breathtaking, the property is exquisite, the landscaping is impeccable and not a stone is left unturned. Greg and Dave were exceptional. The nicest hosts I have ever met! Always at our service to book excursions and reservations and to accommodate our every need. We came to experience the country and the view, but did not expect to make such great friends in the process. Everything was even better than advertised. It was clear that with more than 10 years of experience, they have truly thought of everything and put the guest first in every way possible. For that, we are forever greatful:) We wish we could have met Tiki, but we’re sure she would have been just as great! This was the trip of a lifetime, and the service was truly the highlight. Highly recommend this location to anyone looking to get away and get a local experience in one of the most beautiful countries on earth!

Mamaluma was such a relaxing place with absolutely incredible views. Bird sitings were numerous and we heard far more than we were able to see. The wildlife was also both surprising and stunning, from the green and black poison dart frog to the capuchins and coati. We even caught a rare siting of a great curassaw!! This is truly a piece of paradise and would come back in a heartbeat! Malene, Martin and Eduin were very responsive; and we thank you for the great suggestions in a very well detailed welcome package!!

Mike nous a accueillis par un "bienvenus au paradis"!!!Et nous nous sommes sentis comme dans un paradis tropical. Une maison en bois au milieu de la forêt avec les oiseaux pour réveil-matin. Nous avons pu observer des singes capucins et un toucan lors de nos balades. Sans parler des tours nocturne et ornitholgique avec Gustavo, que Mike avait reservé pour nous. En resumé Mike est un hote chaleureux et amical et Suchante est enchanteur.

Le logement de chez Wade est un havre de paix. Laissez-vous emporter dans un logement atypique à bord de son petit bateau. Toujours accompagné de son fidèle compagnon, Marley. Ces deux jours étaient vraiment hors du temps et paisible. Wade a sûr être très arrangeant dès que nous en avions besoin. Je recommande à 100% !

My husband and I were in need of some peace and relaxation and Villa Buen Trueno helped us accomplish that goal! You can’t beat the amazing patio and pool with the beautiful view! We spent most of our days there, eating our meals, reading books, playing games, and cooling off in the refreshing pool. We also enjoyed just watching all the variety of birds flying around the property. We could just sit for hours and take in the surrounding beauty. The kitchen was stocked well enough to cook many of our meals. However, this location has lots of great restaurants close by that we enjoyed—some with fantastic views and even monkeys who were playing nearby! Some nice beaches are close by as well! We spent the evenings in our bedroom watching TV on a laptop or playing games. We did so because it was too hot to stay in family room which had no air conditioning. The master bedroom was air conditioned. When we arrived, the other two bedrooms air conditioning was not working, but Lucr

Hemos ido cuatro amigos y hemos estado muy agusto en las dos casas. Las casa están con todo tipo de detalles café, tés, platos, hervidor de agua…. Lo cual se agradece . La piscina está muy bien y el entorno es inmejorable. El trato con la propietaria fue genial y nos ayudó dejándonos su PC para un tema laboral, lo cual se agradece. Repetiríamos.

This house is great! The pool is the perfect size and has a platform shallow enough you can sunbathe on or kids can play on. Perfect for a family to enjoy. The main bedroom has an AC unit so you can stay comfortable while you sleep. Overall really impressed with this house. The caretakers are really nice people and happy to give local recs and can help book tours if needed.

We spent four days here as a group of 12. The view is breath taking and the highlight of the home for us was the pool. There is even an iguana on the property which the kids loved. The kids were in the pool all day- it’s deep so life jackets recommended. The outdoor fans and lighting were perfect for allowing us to stay outside all day. The house comes with everything you need to have a great stay and you aren’t tempted to leave. Very close to whales’s tail national park and Uvita is about 15min away. The only downside was the late check in at 4pm and all the sliding doors that would automatically lock it you went outside so very easy to get locked out if you forget the keys inside. Overall we loved our stay and highly recommend this location for a great getaway!
