What a perfect place. Just what we needed. the house is gorgeous and spacious with breathtaking views. Its so well equipped, you just need to bring yourself really. We had a wonderful christmas and no doubt we will be back. The only minor thing was, the heating wasnt set on for our arrival, which should have been done. Instead, we were sat in freezing cold house the first evening. Overal, one of the best places we stayed so far.

Lovely airbnb, easy to find and great location on the beach. Close to the shops and only a few mins drive from some amazing distilleries. Highly recommend

Rona and Alasdair were FANTASTIC hosts, and the house was the perfect place for a retreat with friends. Rona and Alasdair continually communicated with us, including when we had a small heating issue (not their fault but the result of a massive storm on the island), and they made us feel at ease in their home by reaching solutions ridiculously quickly. The house is far enough outside the village of Port Ellen to provide privacy and close enough to walk (20min). The views to the bay, big kitchen table for group meals, and wood-burning fireplace made for a 50th birthday experience me and my friends will not soon forget. All too often Airbnb accommodations are purely transactional - a place for a fee. This is NOT the case with Rona and Alasdiar's place: We all felt welcomed and at home. If you want a retreat with friends, this is a perfect place on Islay.

We could not stay at the cottage for health and safety reasons, however the customer care provide by Paul was impeccable. He assisted us so well in order to relocate us to another accommodation. He was prompt, polite and very accommodating. We will definitely go back to the area and hopefully enjoy Paul’s cottage. Despite the event, I would hugely recommend Paul as he ensured our holiday was not spoilt but wonderful. Thank you.

We went to the island as a group of 9 people. We spent three nights in the house. The place is in a great location (2 minutes walk to Bruichladdich). This was very important to us because the main point of our trip was visiting the distilleries 😅 All destinations within a maximum distance of 30 minutes by car. After crossing the threshold we immediately felt at home. It was very clean and everything was as described. Plenty of space. I highly recommend it to large families. We regret that we did not come in the summer. Maybe there would be an opportunity to use the beach 😀 We had a very successful stay. Thank you very much for having us. Best regards Piotr & the crew

Robert is a great host. Very flexible. He responds to messages quickly and is helpful. The cottage looked great, and we felt very comfortable there. We would gladly return.

Beautiful quiet setting and base to explore the area. We loved exploring by kayak and being greeted by seals every morning. Simon’s place was super comfortable, clean and well equipped. We’d love to return.

Arguably the best location on the island in terms of accessibility - 5 minute walk from the ferry, absolutely fantastic shop and the nook chippie right next door, 5 minute walk to the cafe, 2 minute walk to the boathouse and 5 minute walk to a lovely little beach to let the dogs run around and explore. As we stayed off season we were aware that the local amenities were on reduced hours or closed for the winter but it didn’t impact our time on Gigha as there is plenty to see and do. Highly recommend a dip in the sea at the twin beaches! Nicola was available for all our queries and responded immediately to our messages and calls - highly recommend this lovely home. It was also lovely to be greeted with some local milk and tablet and the dogs were not forgotten either with treats provided to welcome them also. Thanks, we will be back!

The flat was very spacious and comfortable - perfect for our needs. Well equipped kitchen and the village shop around the corner was perfect for provisions. Location was ideal for our tour around Islay.

Kareen’s place was a great find. Small, but perfectly formed, it had all the amenities you could possibly need, a real home, away from home. It was spotlessly clean and really well appointed. Kareen welcomed us at the property and was very friendly and helpful with local tips, all of which we took, thank you. As promised the location was quiet and yet, close to all that Campbeltown has to offer.

We throughly enjoyed our stay in the flat! The building is lovely with a beautiful view at the back. The location was ideal and centrally located for travelling all around the island.

Great stay in Kevin’s Flat. Perfect location with a short walk into the town and local amenities. Flat is spotlessly clean with everything you need for your stay. As regular visitors to Campbeltown we will definitely book again.

We only wish we could have stayed longer. It’s a perfect space for 2 couples. Well equipped and spotless. With beautiful views over the harbour. Helen and Mark were friendly and on hand for any questions.

A lovely apartment just outside Campbeltown. Perfect accommodation for our golf break at Machrihanish. Both golf courses are truly world class. The apartment is easy to find and Campbeltown is ideal for stocking up with provisions. Situated in a lovely part of the world. If you plan the journey carefully getting to/from Glasgow is relatively easy (two short ferry crossing) - saves on a huge drive!! I would definitely recommend.
