Wow what a fabulous place. Exceptionally clean well decorated and well equipped. The welcome baskets were amazing The immediate garden and front sun patio were contained and safe for the dog Out side taps was really useful for washing the dog following his walk Easy walk to Colway bay. Beds were very comfortable, easy walk to local supermarket. All in all a lovely place to stay and I would definitely go again or recommend it to others

The cottage is in an excellent location: it is walking distance to two lovely pubs, a well-stocked grocery store and St Catherine’s Oratory. The stars were also amazing! The house is cosy and nicely decorated, and Amy is a responsive and friendly host.

Our family enjoyed statying at Marie's place. The house was clean, spacious and comfortable. Marie is a great host and provided us with all useful information. We will definitely use her services again.

We had a wonderful stay at Coleman’s Retreat. We were a group of two families - four adults, four kids and two dogs - and had plenty of space. The living area is just beautiful and the bedrooms spacious. The hot tub really made the stay for us (it was very cold February weather!); it’s very large and over looking the garden, fields and horses. Ashley was very helpful, quick to respond and booked our ferry tickets at a great discount.

Lovely, clean and well maintained property. Great location for exploring the island but also to just relax and enjoy the hot tub and seaview. Host was very welcoming and always on hand if needed. Would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the island, it is so homely. Thanks again!

My family and I enjoyed a superb week at Haviland cottage, celebrating the New Year. The cottage itself is spacious, clean and with everything you need for your break. Although it was a bit too cold and wet to make use of the garden, we made full use of the hot-tub, which is emptied, cleaned and refilled after every guest. The cottage is a 10-min walk to the delightful town centre / beach of Ventnor, where there are plenty of shops and pubs and restaurants to provide supplies and entertainment. Lots of lovely local walks and within easy drive of everywhere else on the island. Host Alan was incredibly helpful and responsive, providing discount codes for the ferry and flexibility for check-in time. Highly recommended.

We loved staying at the cottage! It was perfect for our family and had all the things we needed for our kids. It felt very private and peaceful. We were able to check in early and there is just so much to do on the Isle of Wight as a family (even in the winter). The beds were comfy and the floors had heating in the kitchen! It was a dreamy holiday!

We have had a wonderful stay . Julia and James are fantastic hosts , always there to help and offer guidance. The cottage was fabulous. Very quirky , cosy and unexpectedly quiet (due to the central location) . We slept incredibly well. My husband especially enjoyed sitting in the garden in the evening with a glass of wine listening to the water feature. We didn’t use the garden room as only 4 of us but looking to book next year as it would be a great room for the grandparents. Thank you so much James and Julia. Wow, this idyllic English cottage is truly an unforgettable place. The cottage is super clean and beautifully appointed with everything you could need, including a luxuriously comfortable bed, robes, and a well stocked kitchen for cooking. Zena and Phil were incredibly friendly and accommodating hosts, making you feel instantly welcome and at home. From the charming decor to the peaceful surroundings, this cottage is something special. Highly recommended and would love to go back someday!

The Piglet is a lovely conversion that feels both modern and traditional, and most importantly cosy and comfortable. As well as being located in a quiet and picturesque countryside spot, it also comes equipped with all the mod cons including super fast internet, streaming, and an X-Box. The welcoming and helpful owners have created a great space for a break, and were kind enough to provide some tasty goodies and essentials to ease our stay. Recommended!

Estuary Cottage was the perfect sanctuary for a couple of days. Tucked away on the edge of the estuary it was ideal for exploring the local area. The property was a great size for my parents and I - it had every thing we needed and was lovely and clean, warm and quiet. Susie was really quick to reply with recommendations for the ferry. I would absolutely recommend for anyone wanting a peace and calm. The Red Lion pub was a short walk through the field and was perfect for an evening drink / dinner.

We had an incredible time here celebrating my Mum’s 60th Birthday. We had 10 adults and 1 baby - house was incredibly spacious, clean, well equipped and every bedroom was sizeable (two with en suites and all had great floor-space). It’s the most wonderful property over looking the woods and the sea, with an amazing view from the master bedroom. Ventnor is perfectly situated to explore the Isle of Wight - recommend taking a car, however the nearest bus to nearby town Shanklin is just 20 mins from the property. This Airbnb was the perfect back drop for my Mum’s 60th birthday and I strongly recommend it for a big group, whatever the occasion. Claire and Peter were responsive from the moment we booked until we left, they offered local recommendations, discount codes for the ferries and were lovely to communicate with. What a lovely place this is. Clean, comfy and has great views. Jasmine was quick to reply if we needed any assistance and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

We were let down upon arrival on the IoW by another host, Dawn was able to pit us up at such short notice, with quick and friendly responses and a beautiful place to save our stay!

We had a lovely stay - lovely house, very comfortable and easy to live in - home away from home! It would have been nice if we could have checked in earlier (4pm felt very late) and checked out later (10am is very early) but apart from that we had a great time and I would recommend the cottage for those wanting a relaxing stay in a beautiful area. It was a bit further away from the beach than the photos suggest but walk is pleasant and the beach beautiful.

Such a cosy house and beautifully presented

A lovely cottage, with very cool furnishings and overall style. It's a little cold, a little small, and perhaps lacking in modern conveniences, but with a cottage of this unique nature that's not what you're going for anyway. The cottage is a little awkwardly placed on the corner of a main road, but its not particularly busy, and the wider location (Godshill, Niton, Ventor) means there's lots of the IoW's best bits only a few minutes drive away. Def worth a visit if you like staying in more unusual, aesthetically-pleasing buildings.

We are a family of 4 visiting the IoW for the 4th time in 10 years and this is by far one of our favourite houses to stay in, the location was wonderful and so easy to get around the island. The house had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The upstairs was particularly spacious. The washing machine and tumble dryer were very useful with all our beach visits! We walked to the Folly Inn which was a lovely setting and the marina was very peaceful. We would definitely stay again!

We had a lovely stay here, the house had everything you could want, epically with young children. Could’ve have asked for anymore.

Andrew made me feel right at home even before I arrived! His home is just off the main shopping Street and Easley accessible to the transportation to Osborne house. He gave me instructions from arriving at the ferry dock to finding his home. He even provided me with fresh milk and brioche bread, so I could fix coffee or tea and have a little something to munch on! It was a very enjoyable stay; the home is beautiful, and I would gladly revisit his cozy vacation home again.

We had lovely time this July in Bembridge. Fintray Cottage was close to the beach and also close to Bembridge village centre. We thoroughly enjoyed the big garden it came with. The house has a large kitchen, ideal for a big family or for the occasion of entertaining guests. Will definitely recommend.

This is a high quality well cleaned, equipped and maintained cottage with everything clean and new. Especially helpful for us was the secure and handy bike stand Glyn had built round the corner. The location is perfect for cycling and walking with quiet lanes, paths from the cottage to the downs and the sea, and with a superb village shop and pub a short walk away. So it was perfect for our short holiday. Glyn was very helpful with our discounted ferry tickets and Vanessa concerned we had enough bedding. The cottage is very secluded with trees all around. There is a lovely patio area but it only catches the sun for a short while in the afternoon. But you can see the stars in the dark night sky through the skylight. Lovely place!
