Great and clean place with peaceful sorroundings, near main road for Nizwa or Jebel Shams. The most kind and genuine people! I highly recommend it!

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt bei Stefan und seiner Familie. Das Zimmer war sauber und schön eingerichtet, das Bett sehr bequem und es gab sogar Kaffee und einige Pflegeprodukte im Bad. Ausgehend von der Unterkunft erreicht man viele Schönes Sehenswürdigkeiten in kurzer Fahrzeit. Stefan hat uns hierzu und auch schon im Vorfeld unserer Reise super Empfehlungen gegeben. Auch seine Restauranttipps haben uns absolut überzeugt. Wir empfehlen Stefans Airbnb wärmstens weiter. :)

Mamdouhs place is wonderful if you like to stay for your own in a little village. Be aware that it is not in Nizwa but in Birkart al Mouz. The flat is simple furnished but functional and very spaceful. I would have preferred real dishes instead of the camping set but I'm sure Mamdouh would have provided me with everything if I would have asked for. There is also no refrigerator. And it is a little bit inconvenient as to reach your own bathroom you have to move outside to next door. Mamdouh is very helpful as for example how to organize trips or to recommand really good restaurants or to find out the best routes to get somewhere.

Truly a wonderful stay. The room was perfect, our host was so warm & welcoming, and the food was perfect. We stayed just one night but wished we’d booked 2 nights in the Al Burj (deluxe double room). Our host was great- we learned about him and his family, Omani culture, and we got a full tour of the village which was great. He was also quick to take photos and videos of us to make the trip as memorable as possible. Follow the driving directions VERY carefully (don’t get anxious like us and turn too early) - if you’re not going down (after the turn-off), you’re going the wrong way. Plan accordingly and get there early to take in all the views and get the most from your experience. It is a hike with steep rock “steps” (very manageable) so wear proper shoes. Our host met us at the car park and helped us navigate to the village. We were the only guests on the night we stayed, which was amazing as we had the whole village to ourselves. I’m sure being able to mingle with the other guests in the gathering area would be a pleasure as well.

I can only recomend. The accomodation was easy to find. I would describe it as a nice and cozy place, it even has its own garden. If you walk few minutes in direction to the centre, you get to a street full of restaurants and cafés.

The place is really wonderful: exactly as shown in the pictures, perfectly clean, and with nice amenities (shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, dental kit, Nespresso machine, etc.). The pool in the inner-courtyard was peaceful and felt luxurious. Unfortunately, the weather during our stay was too cold so we didn't try it. Hands down one of the best stays of my two-week trip in Oman. I can totally recommend!

تجربة رائعة في كوخ نظيف ومرتب بعناية، يعكس الاهتمام بأدق التفاصيل. الإطلالة ساحرة، تأسر القلب وتبعث على الهدوء والاسترخاء. مكان مثالي للابتعاد عن صخب الحياة والاستمتاع بجمال الطبيعة كوخ نظيف ومرتب بإطلالة خلابة كانت تجربة مريحة تستحق التكرار الكوخ يوفر جميع احتياجات لقضاء وقت ممتع ومريح
