We have rented this house before, it does not disappoint. The description is accurate, very comfortable for 8 - 12 people. Kitchen has all the pots, pans, utensils and everything else you could need. We really like this house for snowmobile trips. Trail is across the street, plenty of parking, could not ask for more.

We stayed here with our young kids for skiing at Sugarloaf which is a short drive away. We felt right at home: the property is clean, exactly as described and very well equipped - the basement was a big hit when we’ve got snowed in. Karen is very helpful and responsive. We had a wonderful week!

Great spot for weekend getaway to ski or other outdoor recreation. Kitchen was well stocked, forget salt and pepper they had a full spice drawer! Thanks Kyle!

Suz’s place was a nice escape from our normal surroundings. We enjoyed exploring all of the fascinating decor in the house. Due to the weather we were not able to enjoy all the planned activities we made, but we found comfort in Suz’s house. The beds were super comfy and we enjoyed the wire bridge close by.

Girl’s getaway was a huge success!! This was just what we needed to unwind and free ourselves from the real world! All 10 of us agreed that we would definitely stay here again! Easy check in, clean, spacious living area, and secluded!

Exactly as described down to the cattle visible from the front window. Cozy place with great light and comfortable beds, roughly between Saddleback and Sugarloaf. If you value peace and quiet in a beautiful setting for a great price, this place is perfect. One note, per the listing there is no TV so you'll be relying on your 2nd screens unless your bring your own.

Visited for the week to snowboard Sugarloaf. Great location, just 20 minutes drive from the mountain. Got to bring our cattle dog, who LOVED walking the trail that starts right on the property. Lots of deer! Enjoyed watching snowmobilers on the trail across the street. The home was clean & cozy, had everything we needed. The host was super friendly & communicated before & throughout our stay! He let us know about the area & activities to do. Thank you for letting us stay Michael!

Great house and good location, it was warm during our stay. Enough space for our company. Not far away from the city. Overall it was nice staying there.

Lisa and Jonathan’s chalet has gorgeous views and feels warm and cozy. We loved it and hope to return someday!

On a eu beaucoup de plaisir chez Marie-Josée. On s'est bien servi du tourne-disques et la collection de vinyle en faisant a manger. Les enfants se trouvaient toujours un petit endroit pour jouer ensemble. la proximité du parc régional du Marécage-des-Scots était appréciée. Si vous cherchez une belle maison ancestrale pour passer des moments tranquils en famille ou avec des amis, on vous la recommande.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour au chalet l’étoile brillante ! Le chalet était impeccable, ayant l’habitude des bnb depuis plusieurs années, ce chalet est de loin le meilleur que nous ayons eu ! La cuisine est full équipé (airfrayer, fondu, raclette, extracteur de jus, gaufrier, machine à café perco, pousseur à lait, ect) et surtout nous ne nous sommes jamais ennuyé. L’hôte était réactif aux messages, les instructions pour le logement était parfait. Nous avons même fait un barbecue dans la neige et grillé des marshmallows dans le foyer extérieur. Vraiment rien à redire sur ce chalet, mis à pars.. allez y ! Hâte que l’été sois là afin d’y retourner et de profiter de la piscine et du volley ball !

I stayed there for two weeks and I would stay again. It was very quiet which is my number one need. Two it was clean. Three nice kitchen with all the appliances you need. Four Jeanmarie answered all questions quickly and clearly. Five lots of room in the house. Six it was nice and warm in the winter weather.

Great place to stay, beautiful surroundings, loved it! Cabin itself is big and there is always a room to have some quiet time away from kids playing. Plenty of cookware. Big Moose Mountain ski resort is about 50 min away with friendly staff and reasonable, not overblown prices.

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It had everything we needed. It was clean and quiet. We liked the proximity to snowmobile trails, the pellet stove, and the TV options. Thanks and we will be back.

I was in town for the Millinocket Marathon and Mike's place perfectly suited my needs! The space was extremely clean and well-organized. Mike was great to communicate with and provided a seamless check-in experience. He was also available in case I needed anything, which I truly appreciated!

We had a great time at Jeffery's cabin! It's beautiful, in a secluded and private location! We watched deer cross the driveway. We enjoyed snowmobiling right from the cabin. Everything you need to make meals and an awesome jetted tub to relax in! We will definitely return next year. Thank you!

A perfect little place for a quiet getaway. Our goal was to get away from work and spend time together without screens. Peter and Deborah were wonderful hosts that made us feel at home. Our dogs loved romping around in the woods out back during our stay. We turned off our phones for the weekend and were perfectly cozy reading, playing games, and making art. We went into Farmington for a little while and loved walking through downtown and both of the book stores.

We really enjoyed our stay at Chris and Lucas’s Hillside Hideaway. I was a very private location, but within a 10 minute drive to Sugarloaf. The kitchen had everything you would need. We had a mini-blizzard while there, but the roads within the neighborhood were will attended. And the hot tub was sweet after skiing all day!!

Brenda's cabins are an excellent option for a visit to the Maine lakes region. We just love the fall colors around the cabins and there are nice trails for walks right on the property. Everything you'd need is right in the cabin and the location is just a 20 minute drive to Dover-Foxcroft and the beautiful Peaks-Kenny State Park and Moosehead Lake is under an hour. A day trip to Acadia is possible too.

This was the fourth time I have come up to Jayne's to get away from it all. No wifi or cable is what I like best. If you are looking for a peaceful digital detox this place is perfect. I hope to come back in the summer sometime. I will definitely be back next February.
