This cabin was a great getaway! I loved the open but cozy feel of the space. We only had two people staying, so there was plenty of space for sitting by the fire, around the table etc. Might be a bit cramped for more than 4 though. It wasn't clear from the pix, but one BR and one BA are upstairs, which is really nice to give people their own space. The roads are a bit of a challenge, so do heed that warning about 4WD if there is any sort of inclement weather predicted! Even the "paved" road is extremely steep and gravelly, and we had to take two runs to get up the driveway! On the other hand, the location is great if you want to just explore the Gorge. So many great hikes are just a few minutes away, and every drive is quite scenic. Really loved the experience here and would highly recommend.

Nice rental, perfect for 4 people. Hot tub was excellent after a day of climbing.

This is my second time staying at one of Amy’s cabins. They are beautifully crafted and super cozy. We loved sitting in the new hot tub and listening to the creek. I couldn’t get the hot water to come on the first night but I stopped by the main house and the maintenance man greeted me and said he would fix it up. It was fixed within the next hour or two before we got back from our hike. I didn’t catch his name but he was very friendly. A couple small additions that would be helpful: An extra towel per person so you can have one for bathing and one for the hot tub. A bedside lamp. Overall, I am very satisfied with my stay and plan to stay at the Red River Gorgeous cabins again in the future!

Beautiful cabin that fit our needs and had all the amenities we were looking for. It was surrounded by trees and felt fairly secluded. Easy to get to and so close to everything we wanted to do. The bedrooms were laid out slightly differently than in the pictures but there were still the same amount of sleeping spots so it wasn’t a problem. Overall it was a great stay!

Overall, this cabin was a great getaway! Very private and relaxing. The built in hiking trails on site were such a great perk! Hot tub was well maintained and the views were incredible. Our only complaint was it wasn’t as clean as we’d hoped. The sheets on both beds were either not entirely clean (found hair on one bed) or just needed to be replaced (stains, pilling etc.) Many of dishes weren’t entirely clean when we arrived either.

Amy was an incredible host! From the moment we arrived, she made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The property was beautiful, and the nature walk she recommended was absolutely stunning—a peaceful and refreshing experience. The stay was not only relaxing but also a great value for the price. My second time at the cabin. Like last time, it was a great place to relax!

We loved our weekend here. It rained 5+ inches during our stay so we unfortunately weren’t able to hike much (or check out the sky net), but it was so nice taking it easy and chilling in the cabin! Really cozy spot, secluded, beautiful views from the huge windows, and a good selection of games. I’m going to miss falling asleep + waking up to the rain on the roof now that I’m back home. We’d definitely come back!

My husband and I just got home from staying for our anniversary and had a beautiful time. The cabin is EXACTLY as described/pictured, so breathtaking. You can feel all the love that has gone into this place. My husband was fascinated with all the history. Books cover the walls. Selection of DVDs were more than enough to keep us entertained if we weren’t sitting outside. As mentioned, there is no cable/wifi, but we were actually able to hotspot decently enough on my laptop for some videos/browsing. We brought one of our dogs with us and she loved sniffing around and watching the squirrels. The dog park is nice and spacious and fence is very secure. So happy we booked 3 nights instead of 2 and would love to return in the future!

One large house and two apartments was perfect for our four families. Massive yard and small walking paths made this a great place to use as a home base

Two adults and two 13 yr old girls. We didn't read the listing carefully, but that was on us. We arrived at about 10 pm. It was dark but the directions were excellent. We found it. The last part of the drive on the gravel road was an adventure, but we made it. We all decided to roll with it. It is pretty much a sleeping porch. With the added adventure of an outhouse. It was chilly last night but warm under the blankets. All in all, we had a fun time and a unique experience.

We had a great stay. The space isn’t huge, but had everything we needed for a great stay. As a bonus, our friends were just a short walk away at Deena’s other place. That house was much larger. The combo worked out very well for our two families to share a wonderful rock climbing Friendsgiving vacation.

Stayed while traveling for work, the host was very accommodating.

The cottage was exactly as described and felt cozy and comfortable as if we were at home. The surroundings were clean, beautiful and peaceful. Will definitely be staying here again at some point.

My husband and I had a great time at the Soul Sister Cabin. We especially enjoyed the stocked kitchen which made cooking meals very easy. The cabin was close to the main road, but we were not bothered at all by traffic as some other reviewers have said. My favorite part of the stay was listening to the rain on the metal roof and watching/listening to the creek. Our only tip for future renters: This home does have well water, which is found in the description, so come prepared if that might bother you. We just brought a large pack of bottled water which we used for drinking, making coffee, and cooking :) Thanks so much Stay Over Cabins for our great stay!

This location was absolutely gorgeous and well maintained. It is very close to the pinnacles if you’re looking for a relatively easy hike, and not far from many other trails. We will definitely stay again!
