The Viewhouse at Stardust was a beautiful and calming as advertised in its photos. The home was clean, beautiful, larger than the photos would indicate and appointed perfectly for a getaway. The host was kind, communicative, and helpful, checkin and checkout instructions were clear and not burdensome. This was absolutely worth it as a stay and we would happily come back.

The property was very clean and easy to find. There are 2 spots on the drive up that would be tough in a low car, but are fine with a little bit of clearance (our RAV4 had no problem). There was a kids workbench in the closet that my son loved playing with, there were also plates and cups for kids in the drawer. Hot tub is mostly private when you’re sitting in the hot tub (only visible to the gravel road above that has little traffic) but it is visible to 2 houses below if you sit up or are sitting on the patio. Views from living room and patio are good with clear views northwest across the valley.

We loved our stay at Larks Cove Cottage. The house was even more beautiful and hospitable than the photos. The setting was peaceful and serene and perfect for a family getaway. We were most impressed by the attention to detail, cleanliness, and the great amenities. Katharine was an amazing host and made us feel right at home. This was one of the best properties we have stayed at and we will definitely be back in the future.

This house is very cozy, extremely clean, and it’s in a beautiful area to enjoy the mountains and outdoors. It was in a perfect location to attend the baseball games that we were in town for at WCU. James is a great host and provides thorough information on everything for the house and local places. Five stars does not say enough about how incredible this place is, we really enjoyed it.

Awesome location. The house is located perfectly between Highlands And Cashiers. Amazing restaurants nearby and the hot tub was relaxing for star gazing at night. Highly recommended.

Our family loved this house and our stay! We love Maggie Valley and visit at least once a year. This time we wanted something in town instead of on a mountain since our adult children were driving in and meeting us. This place was perfect. All the kiddos (adult and littles) loved the hot tub and fire pit. The dogs loved the back yard and being able to run around without a leash. The house was very clean and had a little bit of everything you would need. We all had a lot of laughs playing all the board games and was perfect for our night in before heading home the next morning. Samantha was very response and helpful when/if we had any questions. We will definitely be back to stay here again.

First I will say that getting up to this property felt treacherous, especially at night. Highly recommend an AWD vehicle if you’re coming up here. Otherwise, the place was very private, clean, and beautiful! Cynthia was an exceptional host - she made sure we arrived safely and was proactive in her communication.

We would stay here again if we return to the area. It was very convenient for a visit to WCU. Plenty of space for the 4 of us and our pup, but still felt cozy for reading, watching tv or playing games. Quiet, clean, welcoming, all you could need was there.

We had a great stay, there were little accommodations here and there like a snack bowl that made our stay even better, thank you!

We absolutely loved our 5 day stay at the Hobbit House! We spent most of our time at the cabin just enjoying the peaceful, cozy atmosphere. It is the perfect place to unwind. You can tell that Donna has put so much thought & care into her space. I also appreciated how communicative and friendly Donna was from booking til departure. Both home & host are gems—I completely recommend booking here for your next mountain trip!

What a great location and awesome place to get away from it all!! The location has a great setting in the mountains of Western NC. Peaceful and quiet. The place is perfect to relax and get away from things. Super clean and included everything you could need. Would love to enjoy the front porch during warmer weather. We hope to make it back sometime soon! The driveway is steep but follow the directions that are listed and it can be done in most any vehicle! **An extra special shout out to Claira for going above and beyond to return an item to us that we had accidentally left at her place!

Silver Linings was perfect for our weekend away in Highlands. After Hurricane Helene, we didn’t know if we’d be able to keep our reservation, but Becky went above and beyond to check on the property and communicate updates to us daily. We were so glad to be able to go and stay in such beautiful accommodations. We will certainly be back to stay at Silver Linings!

Absolutely loved our stay at The Cottage at Sylva!! Cara was an amazing host, and we were so grateful to be able to stay there! We loved that it was dog-friendly, and there’s so much fun stuff to do just minutes away. Great experience!!

This was without a doubt my favorite place I have stayed! The house was perfectly private, had lots to do inside, and was so close to many of my favorite hiking spots. Hannah was so responsive and proactive and definitely made me feel at home. I will definitely come back!

This was our second stay at this location and absolutely loved it! The house is so clean and cozy, and Beau is a very responsive host. This is by far the best Airbnb we've stayed at and would return again.

Bree and Boyd were great hosts! Very responsive, had great local recommendations, and a place that felt like home. The backyard was great for our kid as snow had just fallen, so we all had plenty of room to have a snowball fight. The location was excellent - very close to downtown Highlands, a short drive to activities such as waterfalls, hiking, and snow tubing, but also felt very private. 10/10 would recommend staying with Bree and Boyd!

Exactly what we were looking for in every aspect. Everything was perfect. Our dog had a great time. Definitely coming back.

We had a lovely stay at Hemlock Hideaway. I couldn’t think of a better place to return to celebrate my birthday. We had a lovely day antiquing and then a great day of hiking! We had all the kitchen items we needed to cook each night too. Slept like A dream as well. Thank you so much!!

This was our second visit to The Mayors Cottage. It is such a comfortable, cozy cottage and is well furnished with anything you need. The hosts are very responsive if an issue should arise. The backyard is beautiful and our little dog really enjoyed herself out there. The location is within walking distance to Main Street shopping and dining. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

We loved our stay! Check in was so easy and Tracy reached out to us to make sure the keypad was working correctly. Our two girls slept in the loft while our son took the downstairs bedroom. We visit family every year and like to be right near downtown and close to their houses, which took us only 6 minutes. Everything was clean, fully stocked kitchen, linens were fresh, couch was perfect for us to curl up and watch a movie together after a long day. The surroundings are beautiful - stone stairs take you to the lower parking pad, fire pit, darts in the back porch. Highly recommend and can’t wait to stay again!

Wonderful place and location. We had walked by the house several times during our previous trips and had always wanted to stay there. It met all our expectations, which were high since my wife has loved the place since for years. It perfectly mixes updated services without sacrificing the mountain style in which the cottage was built. Easily walkable to downtown shopping and restaurants but also having a peaceful backyard that is perfect for some quiet time and contemplation. We would love to stay there again.

Indian creek is exactly as advertised and couldn’t be more beautiful. Our boys played in the creek, we picked blackberries, and found everything very tidy and comfortable. We will definitely be coming back.
