Great place to be near Cataloochee Area Ski and the Great Smoky Mountais

Enjoyed a few days here exploring the area and visiting nearby towns. Great place to stay!

Chasity was very nice and accommodating. They made sure to turn the heat and lights on for us. It was a perfect location to skiing.

You don't come across a classic cozy mountain cabin right on a river very often. Great communication and instructions, very easy check in and check out, and convenient to Dillsboro and Sylva. Thank you!

Great location, close to a lot what the area has to offer.

Guests will experience a quiet and very well kept grounds. You may even see an elk wandering around, we did and got some great pictures. I will definitely book again. Next time I would love to try a yurt.

This tiny mountain home was perfect for our Thanksgiving this year. We enjoyed living the mountain life for a few days while we woke up to gorgeous views, roasted marshmallows by the fire and spent the day playing in the woods until it was time to watch the sunset over the mountains. A 4x4 vehicle is required to access the property due to the steep driveway. The kitchen is stocked with basic essentials and with a few groceries from Ingles, I was able to cook meals for my family all week. The beds were comfortable. The area was quiet. The neighbors were friendly. We will be back! Thank you Susan and Katie!

Very cute cabin about 5 minutes from the Cherokee Casino. Private, secluded area next to two other cabins. Super clean and cozy.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The cabin was spacious and the perfect size for my needs. The location is perfect. Walkable to everything in Cashiers.

We were fortunate enough to be able to stay in Blake’s tiny home! The space is super cute and secluded. Blake was super accommodating and responsive! We loved being able to relax in the mountains and reading the guest book for things to do in the area! We will be sure to try and make our way back to this tiny home!

Lindsay’s cabin was immaculate and cozy! We celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary and it was the perfect spot to relax and unwind together. We really enjoyed the scenery and Bo, the resident horse. I would highly recommend staying at this perfect little cabin. We hope to return in the future. I followed the cabin’s IG account to follow along and save for future visits!

This Cozy Cottage has everything you need. The pictures really don’t do it justice. The bathroom is big, shower even bigger. Water pressure was impressive. Tiny kitchen has everything you need, even champagne flutes! Lol… Bed was very comfortable. TV was a nice size and has everything you need. Watched the Saturday football games on multiple stations. Location is great. Walkable to town, drive is 5 min. Great restaurants! Paoletti’s is one of my favorites and it’s right down the street. Been coming to Highlands for 40yrs. This is a great stay for 1 to 2 people. Definitely will be back!

What a great location and awesome place to get away from it all!! The location has a great setting in the mountains of Western NC. Peaceful and quiet. The place is perfect to relax and get away from things. Super clean and included everything you could need. Would love to enjoy the front porch during warmer weather. We hope to make it back sometime soon! The driveway is steep but follow the directions that are listed and it can be done in most any vehicle! **An extra special shout out to Claira for going above and beyond to return an item to us that we had accidentally left at her place!

Silvia's tiny home was amazing. It was so "homey" from the moment we walked in. She put so many amenities in this small space. And it didn't feel crowded at all. She thought of EVERY. SINGLE. DETAIL! The home was spotless! And the bedding was so comfy. I'll definitely stay there again when we visit WCU.

What a find! If you are looking for a great place to disconnect, this is it. Wonderful cabins, great indoor kitchen and then an outdoor kitchen space that would rival any high price resort. Hosts that were friendly, accommodating, and made you feel at home and part of the family. We look forward to our next trip”home” and seeing what is new with our “family”.

We loved the Tiny house. It’s very smartly put together and never felt so tiny. Felt at home watching a movie in the living room. Great deck to sit on and a really lovely view. There’s so much good hiking everywhere and the town is just 10 minutes away. Cute restaurants and it’s even a short but exhilarating drive to Highlands through the mountain. We would definitely stay again.

I stayed at Greg’s property for 2 and a half weeks. It was wonderful. The cabin is cozy and a great location to get out and see the natural beauty of Western North Carolina. Greg a super friendly and interesting guy, with a ton of great stories and experiences to share. He gave awesome suggestions on things to do and was very helpful and responsive with any needs I had. I plan to come back soon and stay with Greg again as there is so much to explore around and Greg was the perfect host.

Beautiful scenery, especially during the winter time. Very unique set up, it was a great weekend for my wife and I.

This was like staying with close friends that you've know for years. Kathleen and Greg were very friendly. I took a walk one morning met some neighbors and they were friendly. I love tgis location. peaceful, secluded, felt like I had the lake to myself. Will be back.

Julie is a wonderful host. Her home was exactly as described and so comfortable. She went out of her way to fulfill our every need. Our daughter lives in the area and both my husband and I would love to stay here again and see the area in the different seasons. Thank you Julie for sharing your home with us.

Darlene's place was fantastic. It's a cozy, private spot. Definitely worth the money, it was not expensive, especially for the area. Check-in was simple and Darlene was easy to get in touch with. Couldn't ask for a better stay!

Quiet, private little spot in the heart of downtown Cherokee. Everything was close and convenient. The accommodations were exactly as expected. Well worth the price!

Darling as can be. Laying in bed with the windows open. Hot chocolate with a book out on the porch. A small snack at the picnic table. The only thing I was missing was the outdoor shower. I wanted it so bad. Huge fan of outdoor showers . Side note to the guests***** The acorns will hit the top of the house and it will probably scare you… it def did me and it’s also very comical when you’re awake. Loved this spot so much. I would stay again and again.
