This place was spacious and perfect for our family (two kids and a baby), with plenty of room for everyone to spread out. The hosts were fantastic! They encountered an issue with the fridge not working just before our arrival but handled it professionally, providing excellent support until it was fixed. We really appreciated their responsiveness and care. We highly recommend this space for families and large groups. One small suggestion: if you’re a light sleeper or have kids, consider bringing a noise machine, as some sound from the upstairs neighbors can be heard. However, this wasn’t a problem for us and is to be expected when staying in a condo.

The space was well decorated, spacious and perfect for our family. I really appreciated the fact that the house was nice and warm once we arrived considering the Chicago winter. Our family was able to be comfortable and enjoy our stay with no major issues.

Me and my Boyfriend really enjoyed ourselves I also love how peacefully and quite everything was but what I like the most is how convenient it is to get around to different types of places and I love how the host was very reachable whenever we needed her I definitely recommend this place to stay

Worked out well for a quick trip. Close to everything we needed including grocery store and restaurants. Very nice walking trail nearby, be sure to check it out. Host was very responsive and helpful whenever needed. Internet service was good and kitchen was well equipped.

We really enjoyed our stay at Myra’s place. The home is inviting, comfortable and was a great fit for our two families. We stayed over Christmas while visiting family in Palos Hills. Myra’s home was very clean and beautifully updated. We had four (4) adults and five (5) children in our group and there was plenty of space for everyone. The kids really enjoyed “their space” in the basement, where there was room for them to spread out and play. Myra was a great host. She communicated well and answered our questions quickly. She made recommendations for us for things to do with our kids while we were in town, and even offered some passes to the local children’s museum. We recommend Home Away from Home as a place to stay and Myra as a host. Don’t hesitate to book this property for a stay in the Chicago area. Thanks, Myra! We will definitely consider staying again if we need a place to stay in the future.
