This is a wonderful homebase for Costa Rica adventures. The complex is extremely secure, with remote controlled gate for vehicle entry and two pedestrian gates with private codes in the front and rear of the complex property. This condo is exactly as advertised and matches the pictures 100%. Each room has individual air conditioning unit which is a must. The master suite has high ceilings and the showers have strong water pressure through rainfall showerheads. The pool is directly across from the front door 10 steps away. The beach is directly out the secure back gate. You must put in a code to both enter and leave the back gate. You take 20 steps down a shaded path, cross the little stream and are standing on the beach in 40 steps. Depending on the tide you are in the warm Pacific Ocean in another 20 or 30 steps. Beach chairs and towels for pool and sand are provided. You can also rent an umbrella and two lounge chairs from the beach vendors for $20 US. Host response is immediate. Go!

We enjoyed our stay. Very walkable- restaurants and shops are within 3-10 minute walk (depending how far you go of course). It is spacious & comfortable w/ beautiful views. The parking lot and pool are gated which gives a better feeling of security. The amenities listed were great for our needs. There are pool towels as well as bath towels. My only notes are that the south building’s view is blocked by north one (as in the north one is closer to the beach; they are not even distances from it); the shower off the queen bedroom has poor engineering & sprays out into the floor if you don’t shower right up against the wall bc there isn’t a full door; the living room TV didn’t work well but hopefully that will be fixed after our stay. But all over very happy with our stay here! Would stay again!

Everything was so amazing! Carlos and Nicole were very accommodating and helped us with everything we needed throughout our trip. Abigail was also super great! We loved the area and hope to be back!

Our stay in Playa Hermosa was perfect for what our group needed. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out and still have comfortable living spaces for everyone to hang out in. Housekeeping came daily to clean up and take care of any extra cleaning needs. From start to finish, the house was always maintained neatly. The stairs are the only safety concern we had with our little ones who are newly walking. Ask prior to your trip for stair gates, if you're traveling with little ones you don't want near the stairs. Location is perfect! You're about a 5-8 min drive to Jaco if you needed a drugstore or nightlife. Hermosa is quieter and off the bear and path from Jaco, but still so easily accessible. Coffee shops and restaurants are all nearby. The sunsets from the infinity pool are magical. And the hosts were very accommodating! Highly recommend a stay here!

Kelly was so amazing and responsive with all requests. She even left us a bottle of wine as a welcome treat! The house was even more gorgeous in person than the pictures. The rooftop such a great spot to end a long day of traveling. The house was clean and since it doesn’t have attached neighbors, it was very quiet and nice. The garage / driveway is a bit narrow so be careful if you have a big car. We had a 7 passenger SUV so it was a little difficult for us but regular SUVs should be easy. Overall, it’s one of the best air bnbs I have ever rented and would rent again when we’re back ;)

House was fantastic! Clean and modern. Megan did a spectacular job with setting up excursions and making us feel right at home. I would highly recommend Megan and this property. I will definitely be going back. We had a private chief that was amazing, an ATV tour to the waterfalls and a boat charter Megan was a pure rock star with setting it up and getting us great pricing on the excursions. Steve S

The most beautiful house i’ve ever seen! Everything was lovely, quality furniture, lots of light and sun. Lots of animals around to watch like iguanas and birds, made the morning very nice. AC in each bedroom, not in the living area, was pretty warm upon arrival, but cooled down with the ACs on and doors open. A gorgeous community pool, and a private outlet for EV charging right in the driveway. Jose was very responsive and a great host! I’d recommend the place to anyone!

Liana's rental was beautiful in a lovely gated community, noise carries a little but nothing extreme. The house was beautiful, lots of recommendations available. Liana was very responsive, exceptionally kind, patient. We were so grateful to stay here. The beach is about 2 blocks away, great for morning walks. The pool area is perfect. Comfortable. Anyone would be fortunate to stay here

This place was perfect for two couple. Walking distance to downtown with shops, restaurants and bars. We enjoyed cooling off in the pool and relaxing. Gated community that was very safe. Would happily stay there again!

Andrea’s place at Jaco was beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay there and the house itself is beautifully decorated and had everything needed. The front yard with the swimming pool was amazing! Andrea is a responsive host and promptly answered any questions we had during our stay. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking to vacation in the Jaco beach area.

Los apartamentos son tal como se ve en las fotos, el lugar es tranquilo, cuando las puertas se cierran no se oye el ruido de afuera. Carlos y Sharon responden todas las dudas y bastante rápido. El único incoveniente fue que con la dirección que dieron Google maps nos hizo ingresar a un residencial al lado, también nos costó ingresar a las habitaciones pero se solucionó rápido, en el mensaje ya lo habían advertido. Sí se debe mejorar que las puertas traseras no cierran, es un lugar que se ve bastante seguro pero sería mejor arreglarlas, también nos pareció extraño que habían como dos cuartos arriba y ambos estaban con llave, creímos que íbamos a poder dormir cada uno en una cama y no fue así.

El lugar es muy espacioso y la atención de Cat y José es inmejorable. La casa está frente a la playa. He ido a este lugar dos veces y lo recomiendo al 100%.

Rosalía fue muy amable, tuvo mucha flexibilidad con nosotros y se mostró interesada en que tuviéramos una buena estancia, lo pasamos muy bien y la casa se acomodó perfectamente a lo que andábamos buscando

Group of 6 guys on a bachelor trip - I was the planned. The stay was wonderful, the services provided were extremely helpful, and there’s tons to do. They always provided very solid recommendations for food and activities, and there are a handful of really nice places to eat that make you feel welcomed. The scenery is beautiful, and the location is very close to all of the “downtown” scene for bars as well as the “more lowkey” scene for a relaxing vacation. The concierge and cleaning services were extremely helpful, and there wasn’t really anything we ever needed that the place did not have. We opted to go out more, but if you were to stay in and cook your meals it has a fully functional kitchen with everything needed. From when we landed to when we departed, they had a solution to everything. Transportation, chef services, excursions, dinner recommendations, sights to see, everything was extremely easy and I would 100% recommend this stay to anyone

Casa Barú is a magical place, located in the best area of Playa Hermosa. Everything was fantastic, from the house to the surroundings, every detail exceeded our expectations. Honestly, we didn’t want to leave. We’ll definitely be back.

La casa es muy linda. Las habitaciones son amplias. La cercanía a la piscina es muy conveniente. La anfitriona Fressy fue muy amable y accesible. Disfrutamos mucho nuestra estadía y sin duda volveríamos. Muy recomendado!

We had an amazing vacation and Kathia was an incredible host. The home, neighborhood, and beach were gorgeous! Kathia gave us lots of good recommendations and the house had everything we needed. I would highly recommend staying here.

Grand maison très bien situé près de tout épicerie et dépanneur a proximité ,situe aux centre de la rue principale juste assez éloignée pour être tranquille,la plage est accessible asser rapidement piscine superbe (rien a dire de mal endroit parfait)
