We spent 9 days at Lene's house, and we loved it very much. Even though the weather was mostly rainy and overcast, we enjoyed the spectacular view from the house. Nature around is stunning, going for a drive gives you a surprise at every turn of the road, there so many beautiful fjords. We were concerned about the street right next to the house, but the traffic is moderate and it didn't disturb us at all. The house is meticulously clean, and it looks the way you expect after seeing the images. Lene is very responsive and friendly, when we had a question about heating and using the stove, she came immediately out to show us how it works, and she gave us some helpful information about the area. All in all it was a wonderful experience, and we would definitely like to come again, maybe in spring when there is a better chance to have some sun.

Die Unterkunft liegt toll am Wasser. Zudem steht ein Boot zur Verfügung, welches wir allerdings nicht genutzt haben. Das Bootshaus ist sehr geräumig und es lässt sich problemlos mit bis zu 6 Personen unterkommen. Die Dusche war sehr schön 🤩. Inger-Emilie war sehr schnell in ihrer Kommunikation und hat bei Fragen umgehend geantwortet. Wir können uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Spectacular place! The views are unreal being right on the water. The house is stunning on the inside and has great design. Very cozy. The out door spa, fire and kayaks were amazing. We would love to return.

Charmant vakantiehuis in een rustig dorpje. Heel knus, goed uitgerust, schoon met lekker opgemaakte bedden. Bedden liggen goed, grote tuin. Vlakbij magma Geopark, met veel mooie wandelingen en uitzichten.

We hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad in dit huis. Alle voorzieningen waren er, het was er heel schoon en Astrid is heel gastvrij. De communicatie met Astrid was heel prettig. We zouden dit huis zeker aanbevelen.

We loved our stay, which was very peaceful, in what is a beautiful, tucked-away part of Norway. We swam in the water, visited the monastary and went for walks, all from the house, which was very clean and homely. Anders sold us some meat from his farm and the tomahawk steak in particular was amazing. Would love to come again someday. Very special and unique place that will stay in my memory for a long time. Thank you!

We loved it. Visually, the surroundings are exactly like the pictures. Stunning outlook, leafy, rough green garden space etc. The house space is comfortable and well lived in which makes it cosy and practical. Nice country cottage feel. Plentiful amenities. Relatively basic if you are expecting high end luxury, but is also not advertised as so, again true to all the pictures. We had a great time with our 2 kids and my parents. Hosts provided everything we needed for kids since they have one themselves. Thanks for having us!

Our visit in August 2024 is an absolute holiday highlight. Birger's cottage by the lake is definitely one of the most beautiful places we have ever visited. We had fantastic days, kayaking, sunbathing and fishing. All in heavenly peace and quiet, yet only 15 minutes from Haugesund. The cottage itself is very well maintained and lovingly furnished; everything you need is there. Birger was always available and was always helpful with advice. Definitely recommended!

Catherines Haus ist die Definition von Idylle. Die Lage ist einfach traumhaft. Auf der Terrasse frühstücken und die Landschaft geniessen und die tuckernden Boote beobachten: Unbezahlbar! Der Garagenplatz ist ein kurzer Fussmarsch vom Haus entfernt und die Umgebung mit den Häusern ist wie aus einem Gemälde. Lediglich die Schlafzimmer sind etwas knapp bemessen.

Zeer mooie, rustige locatie met hele vriendelijke en behulpzame verhuurders, inclusief spoedcursus Noors :-). Het verse fruit stond al op ons te wachten. De woning is best gedateerd, maar heeft erg veel ruimte en is zeer compleet. Buiten zeer veel ruimte en goede mogelijkheden om te vissen of om lekker aan het water te zitten. Wij hebben het erg naar onze zin gehad. Bedankt voor de fijne tijd!

Flott hus på landet men likevel veldig sentralt for å besøke Haugesund. Fint badeplass rett foran huset. Vi trivdes veldig godt med familie; bra med plass og masse utstyr på kjøkkenet. Veldig lett å kommunisere med Trond. Anbefales!

Ein magischer Ort. Naturgewalt vor der Haustür. Wunderschönes Interieur in bester Qualität. Großartige Betten, gut ausgestattete Küche. Greta gab uns viele Tips zum Angeln, begrüßte uns mit einer handgeschriebenen Nachricht, grandioser Ausblick, Kaffee stand für uns bereit. Greta und ihr Unterkunft sind eine 12/10! 1.000 Dank für diese tolle Gastfreundschaft! 🫶🏼

Wir haben schöne Tage in der Hütte gehabt. Modern und gut ausgestattet ist die Hütte und super sauber. Wer Natur mag soll unbedingt hier kommen . LG aus Deutschland

Hei. Jeg og min familie hadde en fantastisk nydelig tur til Kjetil sin hytte. Alt var perfekt. Barna våres kose seg og våres små hunder hadde det veldig fint der. Fantastiske gode senger og dyne , vil gjerne ha det samme hjemme. Det mangler ingenting. Vi fikk venner på besøk og de også ble veldig imponert over plassen. Vi vil så gjerne komme tilbake til Kjetil sin hytte. Takk Kjetil du er en god Bert. 🤩🤩

We hebben een heerlijke korte week gehad in het huis van Vegard. Ondanks dat we hem niet ontmoet hebben, hebben we heel prettig contact gehad. Hij reageert snel en vriendelijk en is behulpzaam bij vragen! Het huis ligt op een fijne rustige plek met ruime tuin en prachtige ligging aan het water. Je hebt zelfs beschikking over je eigen privé strandje en kunt een boot en kano’s gebruiken. Daar hebben wij veel plezier mee beleefd! Ook onze hond heeft zich hier goed kunnen vermaken. Je verblijft in een karakteristieke oude woning met veel charme. Ook veel ruimte en comfort. En als verrassing hadden wij zo nu en dan reeën in de tuin. In de omgeving ligt de Preikestolen, prachtige wandeling! En voor een bezoek aan Stavanger zit je hier ook ideaal. We vonden Jørpeland ook leuk! Kortom, genoeg te doen in de omgeving en rondom het huis. Een aanrader als je het ons vraagt!

Thanks very much for having us over Christmas! It was the perfect place to spend a few quiet days with friends, cooking and eating! Alexandra had put up lots of Christmas decorations which was a special touch!
