House felt like home and exceeded expectations for our family of four. My kids already want to schedule our next visit!

We loved being right in the heart of Colonial Beach! Less than a 10 min walk to several restaurants, breweries, entertainment and the beach! We would totally stay here again. It felt like grandma’s fun beach house; cool vintage touches throughout, cozy and welcoming.

Penn and Mark were excellent hosts! They really made me feel at home and were helpful with any questions I had. It was the perfect place to stay for my research visit at UVA! Would highly recommend!

We really enjoyed the stay at the River House. We are a repeat customer and the house did not disappoint us. The host is very gracious and everything is just as the website has it listed. We enjoyed the amenities, lots of videos, games and the hottub. There is a short walk to the beach which we visited twice a day. We loved every minute of it! Thank you!

Thanks to David for hosting us. Everything was great and we had lots of room to spread out. The house is exactly as pictured in the photos. We used the Kuerig machine and the washer/dryer. Everything was in good working order.

Spent The Weeknd with my daughter and our dog, we had a lovely stay. Comfy beds, beautiful back yard, we especially enjoyed the hottub and porch swing. Very clean and had everything we needed.

Absolutely beautiful! Two upstairs and two downstairs bedrooms worked out very well. Plenty of linens and well stocked kitchen that we used for 2 breakfasts and evening desserts for family. The great room was delightful for family game night!

This was the perfect stay for us. We only needed a one night stay but could’ve stayed longer. The apartment was roomy with plenty of amenities and very quiet! We will definitely stay again if we come back through Roanoke!

Walapa was caring and kind making check in and check out a pleasure. She went out of her way to make sure that we had everything that we needed and checked in with us to see how we were doing. She was highly proactive and responsive. The space was ultra comfortable and cozy, unique with all of its interesting things, lots of books, and board games. We had a lovely visit and would definitely stay again!

Neil’s place was wonderful and absolutely perfect if you want to bring your furry friend. The apartment was clean and cozy, and the bonus courtyard that is completely closed in was amazing for my dog! This place felt very safe and private!

I needed a last minute place to stay in Roanoke and this was the perfect location and the perfect place. Neil is super-friendly and responsive. Check in was easy and flawless. I was here for a very short stay however it was dope. Would definitely recommend. Would most definitely book again!!! It is also literally less than 10 minutes from Six and Sky Rooftop! Location is PERFECT! Very close to highway. Apt was super clean. 5 STARS!!! Thank you! xoxo

The three of us found this condo to be the perfect size and very comfortable. We made meals in the full kitchen and enjoyed the fireplace. Well appointed, we never were without something we needed. We will come back.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at this home at SML...very peaceful, with friendly neighbors and a great location. Beautiful view of the lake and mountains. Thoughtfully stocked and some extra appreciated treats left. Would stay here again!

We enjoyed our weekend very much! This condo it close to the trails we love. Very comfortable, we really felt at home. The bottom floor with the walk out in the back was very convenient for our dogs for quick walks etc. We would love to stay again the future!

Great place for family of five with plenty of room! The location umis convenient / walkable to the ski slopes and great restaurants! The kitchen is equipped with everything you will need and the balcony views are beautiful!
