This house was a phenomenal stay for my wedding weekend. I love old southern houses and this place blew me away. Katie was very accommodating and responsive.

So happy to have stayed in Susanne's home! She was so warm and welcoming at our check-in and was ready to answer questions that I now see were already answered in the posting but I had overlooked hahaha. She was kind nonetheless and was helpful! My husband, 2 year old, parents, mother-in-law, and aunt & uncle stayed the weekend for a nearby wedding. We were so pleased to see that there were toys and books for our son! He absolutely loved the home, especially having ample space outside to play and see the cows too! It was a beautiful and peaceful property! Just a note that I wanted to add for future stays in case it's helpful for anyone planning - the full bathroom upstairs is shared between the single beds (bedroom 3 in the pictures) and the queen (bedroom 4). The double bed (bedroom 2) would have to enter through either of the other two rooms to use that bathroom. And then the downstairs bathroom is the only one downstairs. It worked out perfectly fine for us and our arrangements!

I love the beautiful house and the beautiful surroundings. We used it as a family get away and it certainly filled that need, especially because of the lack of cell phone service and Wi-Fi. Great place to disappear to for a few days. Adam is very helpful and responsive!

I enjoyed every part of her home and I am so very thankful for the stay ! The house is beautiful, she was very nice and responsive!

We had a wonderful experience! The yurt is lovely and so well cleaned and cared for. The views are so peaceful. Douglas was very communicative and recommend a most wonderful hike!

Gail was commutative and helpful! The cabin barn was beautifully decorated, quaint, and cozy. The outhouse was clean and a short walk from the cabin. We didn’t use the shower or bath tub but they looked lovely. The heated mattress covers kept us warm at night. Overall a beautiful and convenient place to stay!

This is the most magical little cottage, I am so happy I found it. My daughter & I stayed here on a road trip to North Carolina & I loved it so much I booked it for our return journey too. Elise made everything so easy & was always quick to reply & so helpful. We arrived after a long day of driving & felt so grateful to land here. Elise had so many welcoming touches, we felt truly at home & were honestly enchanted by every little detail in the cottage from the beautiful, creative decor, to all the reclaimed details & Elise’s beautiful art & ceramics. The hot tub & the claw foot bathtub were such a treat after the road & the bed was so comfortable. Waking up to the peaceful countryside surrounding us & the best coffee & farm fresh eggs was the perfect beginning to the day. My daughter was very excited that Elise had left food to feed the goats & I was excited to peek in her art studio & buy some ceramics. I only wish we could have stayed longer to take one of her art classes.

Really valuable spot… Amazing views, very peaceful setting, and very responsive host. Highly recommend and we do plan to return!!

We really enjoyed our weekend! Listing looks just like the photos. Property was picturesque and exactly as described. Check in and check out were a breeze. There were even fresh flowers in the kitchen, what a nice extra touch. We stayed here while traveling between jobs. It was exactly what we were looking for. We were able to veg out and watch movies on the huge sectional. Our dog enjoyed walking around the expansive yard. The towels were nice quality, they and all the linens smelled fresh and clean, even the throw blankets on the sofa. Couldn’t have had a better stay. We really enjoyed the property. Would stay here again!

This was a beautiful getaway for our family! Peaceful surroundings, quiet, and a nice retreat from the busy pace of city life. The home was well-appointed, thoughtfully decorated, and inviting. Highly recommend!

This place was a beautiful mountain oasis! The tiny home was clean and neat when we arrived, and Dave’s instructions were thorough and allowed us to easily use the TV, hot tub, and appliances without any confusions. I would definitely recommend this place for a nice weekend getaway for yourself or with a partner!

We had a wedding to go to in Louisa, VA and we were so happy with how close Apryl’s place was to cute coffee shops, downtown Gordonsville, winery’s and Charlottesville. It was in the perfect location for us. Apryl was fast in her responses which I appreciated and was quick to help us when our key code had run out, she fixed it in minutes so we were back in the cozy studio asap. It was fun to wake up in the morning and see chickens running around and hearing the stirring of the farm first thing in the morning. Don’t worry though if listening to the rooster crow in the morning isn’t your thing there is a sound machine in the room which was an added bonus. It is a spacious place for a few nights, just remember it is a working farm so Apryl’s children and others will be out and about during the day. But they were so kind but not overbearing either. I will be recommending Apryl’s place to anyone looking for a place that’s close to everything but peaceful.

We enjoyed our stay at Tim's place very much. We decided to stay here for our honeymoon and it was wonderful. The room was well kept and I enjoyed playing with the baby goats!

This is an animal lover's paradise!! The cottage is surrounded by pasture and the sheep (and a pony!!) graze and lounge right outside the cottage fence. It's so soothing to sit and watch them. The views are phenomenal and the stargazing was incredible! And we saw a shooting star!! The cottage is so cute and cozy and had everything we needed. We got to bottle feed lambs, feed and pet the sheep and pony and we met some amazing cats and dogs. This was the most magical vacation and we will definitely be back!!

Steve was absolutely amazing! He was proactive and communicative. We loved our stay and he even messaged the day before letting us know we could check in several hours early. He had everything we needed for a peaceful weekend.

What a great house to base a trip to explore Charlottesville and the Northern Shenandoah Valley out of! Monticello, The Blue Ridge Parkway, wineries; all waiting for your arrival. Steve and Debbie’s Rose Cottage all of the amenities to set the mood for a wonderful adventure. Oh, did I mention the heated bathroom floor? Toasty!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Stunning views from a cabin nestled in the Shenandoah mountains! I wanted a cabin getaway where we were away from town/city with not too many people around where it felt like I was fully immersed in nature. This cabin gave me and my friends exactly that. It was quaint and the area was quiet. Could’ve sat on the porch all day taking in the views. Don’t underestimate the drive up the steep hill to the cabin. This was fine in late March but couldn’t imagine doing it with snow on the ground, at least not without the right equipment. Loved chilling in the hot tub at night. Couldn’t figure out the fire table and it was too windy to try to start a real fire. But the kitchen was well prepared enough that we made s’mores in the oven instead.

Peaceful Haven lived up to its name! It felt like a little house in the woods. Check in was easy and everything was spotless. I felt right at home right away. I enjoyed sitting in the sunroom sipping my coffee and having dinner at The Office. And always, the lovely sound of birds. I was able to relax and unwind. Thank you, Gita, for a lovely stay! I will be back!

This stay is everything you'd expect it to be! My 2 year old absolutely loved looking out at the horses and meeting the pups on the property. The place was very comfortable and clean and close to a lot of amenities. The host was very, very friendly and even let us watch a polo lesson! I would absolutely recommend this stay!

Amazing quaint cabin! The views were incredible, the amenities were on par. Overall this was a 5/5 stay! We hope to be back!

Highly recommend! We have family that lives locally but it’s so nice to visit and have your own space. This was perfect . Spotless, cute, great location. Easy check in and check out.

Peaceful rural setting in a traditional 19th century farmhouse. Endless views. Particularly loved sitting on the veranda at sunset and walking the vineyard. Good for get together with friends or family.

This was one of our most comfortable stays at an Airbnb ever. Very clear instructions for everything and overall a really pleasant experience. This place defines what charm is. I think it’s because of the attention to detail, from the signs with the guest’s name for parking, to small chocolates (which we forgot to take), everything is really well thought out. The cows bring their own charm as well. Thank you so much for the great stay.
