Exactly as described in the listing. Three families stayed here comfortably, and Xiang was an excellent host! The kids (14, 14, 11, 7, & 5) had plenty of space to play, and the grow ups had plenty of space to relax. A great place to come back to after a day of sightseeing!

We had a great stay. We had our kids and grandchildren and this home provided all that we needed. I made dinner every night. The kitchen was well stocked and the grill was wonderful. The kids loved playing with the toys and mom and dad were thrilled they didn’t have to worry about a highchair and pack and play. We didn’t have beach weather but the home had all we could have wanted. Very comfortable home, loved our stay!

We enjoyed our stay at The Great Escape! Most of our time was spent in the private pool and fishing from the yard into the canal. The walk to the beach was quick and easy. We loved how quiet and safe the neighborhood was. The house had all the amenities we needed- it felt like a home away from home. Kim was a great host supplying us with lots of recommendations and was quick to resolve any problems. We hope to visit again in the future!

There’s something about the waterfront…this house was well designed for maximum enjoyment of the water views. Home was well stocked with kitchen equipment, linens, W/D, activities. We enjoyed being there and caring for it as if it was our home. Access to ferry to Jamestown/Williamsburg is a definite plus. Appropriately priced for it’s value.

The place had plenty of sleeping spaces which is what we needed it was a great stay. Communication went well and there was plenty to entertain everyone

This is my second time staying at this place - I typically rent over the winter break. The owner keeps it in good shape. The basics are available and in good working order. I appreciate that there is plenty of space yet feels warm and is easy to heat up so you’re always cozy in the winter. It easily fits 6-8 people without a need for couches. Folks have plenty of space to spread out between bedrooms and the eating/dining room. Good space for movie night (tv is large and two couches are comfortable). Provides some board games and the outdoor space is huge so lots of room for kids and pets to run around, or deck space to get in some early or sunset yoga /meditations. While it is on a main road, it’s set back and incredibly private. Sunlight comes in so well but at night, I felt safe! Doors lock tight and front has bright lights so no one can hide. Plenty of parking for 4-6 cars though without any pulling out /double parking, easily fits 4. Close to shopping and restaurants.

This is my 3rd year staying at one of Lynn’s properties. It is in an amazing location very close to the reason/location that I visit each year. I love the home and plan to book here once a year every single year when ai visit the area. Great host, great home, and great location.
