The location and security are great. We easily walked to the main street/shopping area the one day we couldn't figure out how to get our car out of the electric gate (because of the electricity being out). The neighbor's dogs barked frequently and were fairly loud. You can also hear music from a nearby establishment, but it wasn't loud enough to bother us. When we arrived, we were met by Carlos, so getting into the grounds was quite easy, as was getting into the unit. Carlos was very nice and helpful. The place was quite clean and well appointed. It worked well for the two us for the three nights we were there. The grounds of the apartment are pretty and well kept, thanks to Carlos. We met neighboring AirBNB visitors at the outdoor chairs and tables that are provided, which was a nice bonus. Despite the couple issues noted that we encountered, we would not hesitate to stay here again.

Second time that I stayed with Claudia and Frank. Very good place in the middle of nature. Very dog friendly! Also, there is zero smell of mold, which is a common issue in other places in Panama, as most houses use cheap materials that don't resist the humidity here. The material that they used for construction does not allow mold growth. Great if you have allergies. I would be happy to come back for a third time.

Nicole’s property is located in one of the most exclusive areas of Boquete called Valle Escondido, which has security controls and is surrounded by beautiful gardens. Near the property is the town center of Valle Escondido, where you can find a variety of restaurants, cafés, bars and if you are lucky you can witness a wedding! The property itself is just as shown in the photos, impeccably clean, and well maintained. The towels and bed linens are of high quality, and the mattresses are extremely comfortable, ensuring a restful sleep. The kitchen is very well equipped and has a water filter that allows you to drink directly from the tap, which is a great plus. A small detail to keep in mind is not to leave chocolates unattended on the counter, as tiny black ants (the kind that don't bite) also love chocolate and could take it away 😅 The outdoor porch has two chairs that get the morning sun, making it ideal for sipping your coffee while recharging with vitamin D ☺️ We loved the place!

The apartment is a bit far from the city center, but you can reach it on foot in about 20 minutes or by car in 10 minutes. The area is very quiet and perfect for anyone looking to relax. The hosts — Anette, Brian, and Jürgen — live in the neighboring apartment. They are incredibly kind and caring, always ready to help if needed. They also have a lovely and friendly dog, Luna. The apartment itself is very clean, cozy, and fully equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable stay. We really appreciated the peaceful mountain setting, which made our time there very relaxing. We’re very happy with our choice!

Die Wohnung hat uns sehr gefallen. Gross und geräumig und schöne Aussicht. Generell eine schöne saubere Wohnung in einer ruhigen Gegend. Der einzige Minuspunkt ist, dass es ein bisschen abgelegen von dem Stadtzentrum ist.

The apartment was lovely. We loved being able to easily walk into town. The backyard area next to the stream was gorgeous and peaceful. The neighbors were very friendly. The apartment was spacious and the master suite was massive. We would definitely return.

It was a real immersive experience staying at Casa Dolega. The surroundings are lush and with a River running through. Very serene & peaceful. Wifi was good and able to stream movies and do video calls. Laundry on site which is very convenient. The area is very walkable with local restaurants and shops. Dolega is a quaint town that is at the heart of the Panamanian culture. If you like cultural immersion, you will enjoy your stay! I highly recommend. Cynthia is a wonderful person. Great host

Marybell’s place is spacious, clean, and had everything we needed and then some. We stayed for just a couple nights to visit the beach and move on, and it was a good place to do that. The location is some blocks from the plaza and about 30 minutes from the beach, which was convenient. The place has everything you need to cook a full meal, the wifi works well, and Marybell was very helpful and accommodating. One thing I feel it’s important to say is at night, this area takes on a different energy; we were told to be cautious about walking at night in this neighborhood. We didn’t experience any issues, but it’s good to keep in mind, especially for solo female travelers.

Me encantó mi estadía, desde el primer momento, la hospitalidad fue excepcional. El espacio estaba impecable, bien decorado y muy acogedor. La ubicación es perfecta, con fácil acceso, con opción de restaurante cerca si no quieres cocinar, igual la cocina está completa si quieres relajarte y cocinar algo rico. Cada detalle estaba pensado para garantizar una experiencia cómoda y relajante. Definitivamente volveré y lo recomiendo al 100%!

Overall wonderful place in Boquete! This place is located a bit further from the town (10-15 minute taxi ride), which was well balanced with being in nature/surrounded by beautiful gardens. The staff were extremely helpful in booking taxis/arranged for transportation to Bocas del Toro. They also shared a good list of places to eat/things to do in Boquete with tips on how to get there from David etc. They were very welcoming and accomodating! The only thing to note is the bathroom has an odie after water use and there was an accumulation of small dead bugs on the walls in the bathroom that should likely be wiped down. Otherwise it was abolutely beautiful and we would return to Casa Reina in Boquete any day!
