Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in der Unterkunft, die Aussicht aufs Meer ist wunderschön und man konnte den ein oder anderen Sonnenuntergang beobachten. Wir haben sehr viel gekocht, wofür die Küche super ausgestattet ist. Allerdings hat die große Gasflamme nicht gut funktioniert. Alles war sauber und wir haben uns wohl gefühlt. Gerne wieder !

A helpful and friendly host. The apartment was great and quickly felt like home. We were six persons and still the apartment felt spacious. Located right by the sea (lovely sound of the waves and great to just look at) with easy access to the promenade leading to Funchal and other towns. Several really good restaurants nearby and bus right outside the door. Perfect! We highly recommend Pedro and the apartment.

We had a brilliant few days staying at Gerald’s apartment, perfect location for exploring the whole of the island and right on the sea front, would recommend to anyone planning a trip to Madeira! Welcome hamper with breakfast bits and snacks was a lovely touch too. Thanks so much for having us!

Уютная и чистая квартира. Есть все необходимое. Машину ставили в подземный паркинг, что очень удобно. С балкона красивый вид на океан. Удобный матрас и подушки, приятное постельное белье. Интернет хорошо работал. Хозяйка квартиры Ири встретила как родных. Показала окрестности, порекомендовала рестораны и магазины. Всегда была на связи. Очень отзывчивый и добрый человек! Супермаркет очень близко. Есть где погулять. Мы остались очень довольны проживанием здесь. Рекомендую!

Schöne geräumige und saubere Unterkunft, die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war sehr einfach und unkompliziert, bei Ankunft bereits Café, Milch und Wasser sowie Obst in der Wohnung. Parken war kein Problem geht in der Straße oder in der Garage, im Ort selbst war allerdings als wir dort waren nicht viel los. Die Lage ist direkt am Meer unf die Felsen sind sehr beeindruckend.

Ótimo espaço com uma excelente vista e uma boa localização. Muito fiel às imagens do anúncio. O único aspeto que creio que podia melhorar é a roupa de cama.

We stayed for 6 nights and absolutely loved the apartment. The central location made it easy to explore the city by foot. The 3 bedrooms are of equal size and there are 2 full bathrooms, perfect for a group of friends or family alike. The apartment was spotless and well-appointed. Luis graciously allowed us to check-in early which was much appreciated. If you are visiting Funchal this is the place to stay, I highly recommend it!

Very nice place to stay! very nice furniture and fully equipped kitchen. Patricia is friendly and responive. The place is very central and one minute from the pebble beach. The rooms are a little humid due to the windows to the north and to the river behind the house. We enjoyed the stay a lot, reccomend! also the view to the banana plantation is cool.

Thank you Veronica for letting us stay here. You have a little charm here for sure. Loved sitting out on the front balcony watching the ocean something I could do all day. The corner restaurant was an added bonus and the food and service was great.

We really chose a fantastic apartment here! It's just like it looks in the photos and the description is accurate. If you want an apartment just outside the city centre, in a quieter neighbourhood (São Martinho), that has unbelievably stunning views of the hills, sparkling lights and the ocean, this is the one. The road is a dead end so there are no revving motorbikes or cars, only in the distance the typical barking dogs of Madeira. Going to sleep at night and waking up to this view was a stunner! We were there for one week and had everything we needed to make meals, watch TV and comfortably get ready (two of us). There are 3 balconies and 2 ways to get to the home. Be prepared to climb and descend hills if you don't have a car! But this is part of the experience. An added bonus was on-property cat, Hippie, who you get to feed and cuddle outside every day. She was such a sweetheart! Leonor is also one of the most proactive communicators on AirBnB. We had such a wonderful experience.

This is a really great place with a wonderful garden. You can skip the trip to a botanical garden- it’s all there! The house is very clean and aesthetic, the kitchen has all what it takes. There is an outside BBQ and an oven inside. We can really recommend the place. The location is very close for hiking in the area of Rabacal or Porto de Sol.

We thoroughly our stay. Mariana and Miguel provided a warm and informative welcome with helpful recommendations and insights. Lots of comfortable outdoor lounging areas situated to take in the beautiful ocean vista. Parking was onsite and easily accessible. All aspects of the property were very clean. Bed was remarkably large and comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

Geweldig, heel schoon en ruim verblijf met fantastisch dakterras! Bed sliep heel goed, rustige omgeving, handig dat er een kleine supermarkt direct om de hoek zit (lekkere broodjes ook). Grotere supermarkt in Calheta op 3 tot 4 kilometer. In de woning heel veel kastruimte en ook de keuken was van alle gemakken en allerlei spullen voorzien, incl was-, afwasmachine en droger. Angela heeft werkelijk aan alles gedacht! Communicatie ook steeds prima, ook vooraf al. Als we weer in deze omgeving van Madeira komen, kiezen we zeker heel graag weer voor de mooie woning van Angela!

Wir hatten eine großartige Zeit in dieser Unterkunft! Die Wohnung war sauber, gemütlich und mit allem ausgestattet, was wir brauchten. Besonders die tolle Aussicht und die authentische Umgebung haben uns richtig gut gefallen. Wir haben uns hier sofort wohlgefühlt! Der Gastgeber war superfreundlich, die Kommunikation lief reibungslos, und die Erreichbarkeit war unkompliziert. Die Straße zur Unterkunft ist, typisch für Madeira, ziemlich steil und schmal. Das Fahren und vor allem das tägliche Einparken kann anfangs eine Herausforderung sein – aber wenn man den Dreh raus hat und man ohne Schramme einparkt, macht es fast schon Spaß. 😉 Insgesamt eine absolute Empfehlung – wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

We loved our stay at Felipe's and got really good tips from him on various things to do. Slept like babies and the house was perfect with beautiful view. Our best recommendations.

Die Wohnung ist wirklich toll und die Aussicht von der Terrasse unfassbar schön. Wir hatten leider direkt am ersten Abend einen Wasserschaden an der Toilette im Badezimmer, aufgrund von Bauarbeiten in der Straße und wofür Eva somit nichts konnte. Eva und ihr Mann João kamen direkt umgehend persönlich und haben mit einem Handwerker noch am selben Abend das Problem behoben, wirklich top. Danach konnten wir die gesamte Zeit dort prima genießen. Ein Highlight ist auch, dass man direkt von der Garage mit dem Aufzug in die Wohnung gelangt, super praktisch z.B. mit Koffern. Die Wohnung ist wirklich mit allem ausgestattet, sogar ein kleiner Bluetooth-Lautsprecher war vorhanden - ein Traum mit etwas Chillout-Musik den Sonnenuntergang zu genießen. Eva und João waren beide super nett und ganz tolle Gastgeber, wir würden die Unterkunft jederzeit wieder buchen.

We had a fantastic stay in this apartment, which offers a stunning view and a prime location in the south of Madeira, near Funchal. It’s easily accessible and perfectly situated for exploring the island. The host was incredibly friendly and responsive. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Madeira!

Abbiamo soggiornato 7 giorni e ci siamo sentiti come a casa. Siamo stati accolti dalla madre di Jose, una signora molto dolce, gentile e radiosa. l'host, Jose, lo abbiamo trovato molto disponibile e chiaro nelle comunicazioni. We've stayed at this flat for six days - the location is great, we found everything we needed nearby, including grocery shops, car rentals and bus station! There is a large parking area right under the balconies and a pool we unfortunately didn't have time to use. Chayanne was very nice to us, really helpful and friendly, and we were overall very happy with our trip. Thanks, Chayanne!

Delila was an great host. Apartment was clean with all the amenities. Location is great, close to the beaches, stores and restaurants. Bus stop is right in front of the apartment.

Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft sehr wohl gefühlt. Ana hat uns persönlich begrüßt und in Details alles erklärt. Zudem stand für uns in der Wohnung einen Korb mit frischem Obst und die Kekse aus Madeira. Vielen lieben Dank für diese nette Geste! Die Küche war sehr gut ausgestattet und hat eine Kaffeemaschine mit den passenden Kaffeepads. In der Wohnung waren sogar Strandhandtücher da, die wir für unsere Badetage im Meer benutzen konnten. In der Umgebung sind sehr viele tolle Restaurants, die in der Fußweite erreichbar sind. Ein Platz in der Tiefgarage war Gold Wert, weil in der Umgebung freie Parkplätze sehr rar sind. Wir bedanken uns bei Ana für Ihre Gastfreundlichkeit! Wir haben unsere Zeit auf Madeira sehr genossen 😊

Loved Afonso’s place. Lovely condo right in the heart of Funchal. Everywhere is easily walkable from here, but we were thankful to have private parking for our rental car. Terrace was lovely and spacious. Host was friendly and responsive. Would happily stay again when in Funchal!
