An amazing place in a beautiful location, close to walking tracks and beaches. Only things to note are it’s probably best to bring your own chairs to enjoy the deck comfortably, and also that the house receives tank water, not potable drinking water - this was not listed, so boiling water then cooling it if you don’t have your own filtered water bottle or disinfection tablets is required.

What a lovely place to stay. The shack is clean, super well equipped and right across from miles of dog friendly beach. It’s a lovely peaceful space. Polly and Alex offered great communication too. Would love to return!

This place has amazing views of the ocean, is comfortable and has everything you need for a little coastal stay. A short walk to cafes and the beach.

Fantastic holiday house in a spectacular location. The home has a warm feel and is very comfortable with all the requirements for cooking. It is really well furnished and has comfortable bedding. Loved having access to a microplane and proper coffee machine! You get nature views from all of the windows and can lounge in a beautiful bay window to read if the weather is not so great. It is a great base for different activities. You can walk or drive to different beaches and it is close to other walks in nearby mountains (this information is provided by the host). The local pizza place is the only cafe in Binalong Bay and it was a beautiful spot to have dinner on our last night. As has previously been mentioned this is a holiday home not a hotel so there are some quirks. I think someone previously mentioned mirrors in bathrooms for shaving but that is pretty much the case for any beach house and there are easy work arounds. We had such a relaxing time it was hard to leave!

Good location for exploring east coast, near playground and river mouth inlet. Great views. Lots of bedrooms for large family or groups. It was great having a little toy area and box for the kids.

We booked at short notice and appreciated the prompt response and ability to accommodate us. The property was clean and comfortable and perfect for our family (including our dog).

Beautiful location and we had a nice cabin with a large deck. We saw lots of wildlife and the beach nearby was great for a short walk. We will definitely be coming back.

Lynette’s place was easy to find, clean and comfortable with wide open spaces, a lovely beach and a great pool close by. We were there for a wedding in Falmouth and the cafe/restaurant was a great place to catch up with friends and family. It is also an easy drive to Bicheno, Frecinet, Scamander and St Helens. If we’re ever in this part of Tassie again we’d be more than happy to stay at Lynette’s place.

Lovely apartment with a comfy bed, great bathroom and well-equipped kitchen with a hob which was great for cooking dinner! We particularly loved the outdoor seating area with a sea view which we enjoyed with a coffee in the morning. The location was a great place to stop over between Freycinet national park and bay of fires. Michelle was a lovely host and kindly let us check out slightly late as well.

Couldn’t recommend this place more, we have 2 young children and it was so family friendly, just a short walk over the bank to the beach, a play area, amazing clean pool, every area and the whole room was clean and well maintained We will be definitely returning

The rate was reduced because the restaurant was closed so it was very quiet but it was lovely place and great location. Well worth it if you like wine/beer/whiskey or gin.. any and all are available in tasting paddles and was a relaxed experience with great view. Rooms were spacious and very close to the beach.

Only got to stay one night on our way to Hobart great location and lovely views, good pool, great place for families

Wir haben sehr spontan gebucht und sofort eine nette Antwort und die Buchungsbestätigung bekommen. Die Wohnung ist riesengroß, sehr gut ausgestattet mit allem was man braucht und hat einen tollen Blick auf das Meer. Wir haben uns gleich zu Hause gefühlt. Seaview ist absolut zu empfehlen.

We were very glad we stayed here - the cottage is spotless, very comfortable and has everything you could need. The location is also great being half way between Freycinet NP and Bay of Fires and it is just a few hundred meters to the beach. We always looks for an airbnb that has a nice outdoor seating and this did not disappoint - two comfortable chairs, a BBQ and a lovely view. The cottage has large windows so you can get the great view from inside too. We didn't meet Shar but her communication was very friendly and helpful.

My husband and I stayed for 8 nights and all I can say is this place has the wow factor. From when you open the front door you are hit with this amazing view of the bay that you can see from all windows. The hosts have taken great pride in all areas of this home from furnishing to kitchen appliances and cooking needs. I work in bedding and the mattresses, pillows, blankets etc are all top notch. We loved the fireplace, it made it so homey and cosy especially in the evenings with a glass of Tassie red wine. We will be back for another stay and honestly we were so sad to close the door and leave. Thank you Emily for sharing your special place with us. Jules & John Xx

Scamander is centrally located for key parts on the East Coast such as Bicheno, Binelong Bay and Freycinet. The house is a 300 metre easy stroll to the beach and the awesome River Mouth Cafe. The property is well equipped and beautifully quiet.

Wir haben vor allem die Aussicht und die wunderbare Terrasse sehr geschätzt. Die Einrichtung war zweckmässig und wir hatten alles, was man braucht.
