We loved staying at this MMC location! It was perfect for my boyfriend and I to spend a week relaxing and working remotely. The WiFi was fast and reliable - we had about 4 - 5 devices connected at all times and had no issues with streaming or zoom calls. The cabin was big enough for both of us to work comfortably - with one of us set up on the main level and the other in the basement. I’m a little loud on the phone but with the door closed, he couldn’t really hear me. We only used the bedroom and bathroom on the main level but the bed was comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was good. We cooked most of our meals in and found that we had enough cookware and utensils to make everything we wanted to make with no issue. We also used the grill - which was definitely a nice to have. The location is a bit remote (as the listing states), but we really appreciated the quiet of the street and surroundings. We’ll definitely book again!

Had a great Thanksgiving weekend with extended family. Kitchen had more than what we needed. Kids loved the games and hottub.

The home is super interesting and would be a wonderful spot for a big family or group. With plenty of space for people to spread out across multiple living spaces plus the outdoor spaces on nice days. The house is remote but not too remote with neighbors around and about a 6 minute drive to a small local store with an assortment of necessities if you have forgotten anything. I booked the house because it is hard to tell what the weather would be like in mid-March but we lucked out with some mild weather but still was able to enjoy the fire pit and hot tub. Mountain Mama was very, very thorough with their guidebook and instructions. As well as being quick to respond.

Great weekend spot to get away! Loved the loft upstairs, hot tub, and ping pong table. Host was responsive to questions and takes good care of the property. Everything listed was provided! Mountain momma rules!!

Beautiful home and property at the end of a long private road, multiple wineries within a 5 minute radius. The house itself was clean, plenty of linens, a well stocked kitchen, great outdoor space with a charcoal grill and gas fire pit. Honestly no complaints and will hopefully stay here again.

Highly recommend this Cabin in Harpers Ferry. Very clean and comfortable with everything we needed. We stayed three nights and spent all our time relaxing and talking in the spectacular views and peaceful surroundings from the deck, hot tub, living room, screened in porch etc. Our host was very welcoming and responsive. Well worth a visit and we hope to return again sometime.

Had a wonderful time, the house was as advertised. Was a perfect getaway distance for us. Would definitely consider the house again if we are ever visiting the area!

Cozy treehouse with retro cabin vibes - this place is fantastic! The bed and linens are amazing, probably one of the best nights of sleep I’ve had. Everything was clean and easy to use -the screened in porch was a reading sanctuary and we spent each morning having coffee on the balcony overlooking the mountains…it was so relaxing and we will be back! Also all of the wall art is so cool-the decor really adds a nice touch to an already cool spot.

Excellent place to stay for the night

The cabin and location was magical. Difficult to describe how wonderful our whole experience at Still Point was. Coming from England we were looking to experience rural America (after 5 days in New York city too). The peace and tranquility was immediate. You are not just 'close' to nature - you are 'in' the nature with the cabin nestled in seclusion, the deck level to the branches of surrounding tree, we were even lucky enough to see a graceful brown bear as we drove up on our first evening. The cabin is homely with more than everything you need. My husband, 2 teenage sons and I had such a wonderful adverture at Rolling Ridge - it was difficult to leave. On a practical note - all correspondence with MaryAnn and Kira was brilliant - really helpful and informative. I found all the instructions really helpful. Loved everything.

Wow! What a great experience! I would absolutely come back again. Please let me describe my experience. If you’ve never lived on a mountain or been in a mountainous area, be prepared but be in awe of the view and tranquility. There are plenty of places to frequent and visit but the best part is the silence and your surroundings. Build a fire, watch a movie, wake up early to see the sunrise. It is beautiful and tranquil. I would highly recommend especially to anyone who frequents the city; Get away and enjoy your stay! Thank you Abby for an awesome adventure ❤️ I will be back!

Very nice cabin right on the Potomac river with river access for swimming, fishing, canoeing etc. Great amenities as listed. I will just say that the nearby train comes around more frequently than expected which can be loud/tough if you’re traveling with your pup. Also, the zip line ends literally right behind the cabin which can be a bit noisy and awkward when attempting to sit/relax out in the back. Otherwise it has great proximity to nearby parks/trails/attractions and overall is a nice campsite.

The house was as described, large and spacious and very clean. The beds were comfortable and the grandkids loved the bunk beds! The views were beautiful and it was nice to have a fenced in yard to let the dog and kids outside to play. We had no issues and would stay here again.

This was a beautiful cabin tucked away in a serene community. The cabin was well stocked with towels, linens, and kitchen utensils. We appreciated the cozy atmosphere and fireplace. Every room served its purpose well and was extremely inviting. Our kids enjoyed the hammock and running around in the back yard without getting too close to the water. It felt safe, calm, and very homely. The internet connection was great! Whatever we forgot to bring for the kitchen was already there. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you for being a wonderful host and so responsive. The property exceeded our expectations!

Absolutely beautiful little home! LOVE the vintage look and wood flooring! Decorated very tastefully! River and surrounding mountains are breathtaking! Sunroom and porch were beautiful little spaces as well! All the basics were provided, we appreciated lots of towels! Wifi and TV worked great for us, no issues. The cons were 1 bed was not very comfortable, the walk to the river was extremely steep and almost unpassable. Very tricky for us since we brought small kids! Cleaning could have been a little better, but to be honest we were fine with it. Somebody more picky than us might find it sub par, but we have kids and therefore lower cleanliness expectations lol Also, bugs, spider webs, ect are to be expected at such a rural location. Overall we really loved the place and had a fantastic weekend! The kids really enjoyed playing by the water and we loved having our coffee in the sunroom watching the beautiful sunrise over the colorful fall trees! Would definitely stay here again!

The retreat in Knoxville, Md was super close to the river, brewery and downtown. The house was spacious and clean and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Wow west Virginia will always have a special place in my heart now and mountain mama's wholesome, spacious and comfortable lodge made that a possibility. It was the perfect place to unwind and relax in the peace of nature, with great things to explore in the surrounding area. I would highly recommend staying here, I hope to return one day myself!

We rented Deer Chase as we were attending a wedding at The View at Bluemont. I was taking care of the flowers so needed the space to create. It was perfect! And quiet. We didn't have time to use the firepit, but it was so cute when the lights came on when it was dark. The only issue we had was trying to figure out how to get any shows or NCAA games on the TV. We have cable at home so figuring out how to access channels using any other platform is impossible for us spoiled cable users. But we managed without and had a better time without TV. Won't hesitate to recommend Deer Chase or rent it again for ourselves. Thanks Jeanne for being so responsive the entire time!

We were in the area for an end of life celebration. The house is lovely - so nice right at edge of the lake. The roads in the neighborhood are a challenge in the winter. We had to leave early because of the big snowstorm. I know it would be amazing in warm weather!!

We cant think of enough nice things to say about Christie’s home and the town that is Harper’s Ferry. Whether you are there for leisure or hiking, Christie’s home was in the middle of it all. A two minute walk to downtown’s well preserved historic buildings and restaurants! The train-my son and I are avid train fans and we ran out to the porch at every “choo choo.” From the porch, you can see the train station. Such a fun experience! The view-we came upon Harper’s ferry on a spur of the moment adventure and didn’t expect the scenery. So cool to be at the state lines of three different states! The porch gave us a great view of the Potomac/Shenandoah river. The bath tub-Christie’s bathtub oasis (our nickname) was everything we didn’t know we needed! So much thought and effort was crafted into the space and we appreciated it immensely! Lifelong fans of Harper’s Ferry after this trip. Thank you to Christie for having a unique space that provided such an amazing introduction!
