Perfect getaway spot to disconnect. Kids were outside constantly and loved all the space to run around and play. The hosts told the kids they could use their swing set and trampoline which made their stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend. :)

The Gibson House lived up to its superb ratings. Upon our arrival, two beautiful horses in the nearby paddock came over to the fence to greet us. The house was spacious with a large well-equipped kitchen and comfortable seating areas. Wonderful sunlight through the plentiful windows and views of the horse farm and woodlands. The garage was convenient for unloading and loading the car. Even during a very cold stretch of winter weather, we enjoyed walking the woodland trails behind the house and driving (10 minutes) to charming, downtown Middleburg for window shopping and dining at restaurants like the King Street Oyster Bar and the Salamander Resort’s Harriman’s Grill. Everything was great and we enjoyed our stay.

House was perfect for a large group and very clean when we arrived. There were all the necessary pans, pots, silverware, etc. for cooking for meals in the house. The host (Amber) was quick to communicate and adjust to audibles/questions from our end. Great stay for a large group. Would highly recommend.

The house was perfect for our family Middleburg weekend stay. It was clean, cozy, well stocked, and centrally located. The tavern across the street was so convenient and added a local feel. We would definitely stay here again when we are in the area.

Karen and Mark where excellent host! They had great communication and clear directions. The space itself was peaceful, thoughtful, the bed was comfortable and it was clean. We had a restful stay and left feeling refreshed. The location was absolutely stunning with the fall leafs. A delightful highlight was the neighbor donkeys who were friendly and very sweet!!

Our family group of 10 traveled in from five different states to enjoy the Thanksgiving holiday together. The space was warm and comfortable and suited our needs, and the surroundings were beautiful, quiet and peaceful.

If you want to get away from the city (DC, VA, MD) and want to feel country living and get away from the hustle and bustle of work and life, you have to come here! This farmhouse is a hidden gem! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by its charm. The 4 cozy bedrooms are beautifully decorated, each with its own personality and a touch of antique elegance. The attention to detail throughout the house is impeccable. Outside, the farm animals—ducks and goats—add to the experience, while the old barn gives the place an authentic feel. The kitchen is a chef’s dream, flooded with natural light, perfect for cooking and gathering. We loved the peaceful pond with fire pits (can’t wait to use them next time!). With board games, serene surroundings, and so much charm, this place is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back in the spring or summer! Thank you so much for hosting us! WOW! What an amazing air bnb and property! Dawn was a great host and very attentive to our needs and great to talk with. We had dogs with us and were able to use the trails around the property to run them. I cannot wait to come back!

Delightful little cabin with a beautiful patio overlooking quiet woods and mountains. Rustic but charming, comfortable, and well equipped - had everything my friend and I needed for a weekend of cycling around Frederick. Gillian was a great host.

The stay was wonderful. There is plenty of room for family and friends with multiple areas for seating and entertaining. The supply closet is well stocked with towels, linens, and paper supplies. Also, there are games, puzzles, books, and movies available in addition to the combination billiard/ping pong table to provide indoor entertainment. For outdoors, there is a gas grill, hot tub, fire pit, and cozy swing. A great place for gathering with friends and family.

My mom and I had the BEST experience at the Forge! The accommodations struck the perfect balance between historic farmhouse and modern comforts. It was cozy, clean, and fully stocked with fresh towels, coffee pods, and a binder with the history of the farm! From Jessica's thoughtful touches to the beautiful vistas and fresh eggs in the kitchen, to the education and hospitality while feeding the pigs and gathering eggs in the morning -- it was heaven. Jessica was quick to reply to any questions we had and provided local recommendations, like the great local market up the road, Roots, for barbecue, cheese, wine, and other provisions. We also loved exploring historic Leesburg -- Buford's Biscuits is excellent for breakfast and Mom's Apple Pie Bakery is a must-stop. We will be back!

If i could put a price on piece of mind and tranquility, I'd say we underpaid. Best reset in a long time (and we reset often). This was my husband and my second stay at one of Ms. Gillian's properties and we haven't been the slightest of disappointed .. Each stay she went above and beyond and was even able to accommodate us at the very last minute with every bell and whistle on point. The pictures posted are an understatement to the relaxation it provided.

From the very beginning, Heather was incredibly welcoming and open in our communication. She made the entire process seamless, and I truly appreciated her flexibility when it came to modifying my reservation — it made everything so much easier. When we arrived at the home, we were immediately taken by how quaint and beautiful it is. Waking up to see the sun rising on the horizon each morning was such a peaceful experience. The entire stay was absolutely lovely, and I’d definitely recommend Heather’s place to anyone looking for a serene and cozy getaway. Thank you again for everything!

Went with my friend and we found the place very comfortable. The kitchen is very nicely stocked! We brought food so that we could prepare most meals and the kitchen had more than we could ever need by way of kitchen gear! There was also a full stash of coffee, cream, honey and sugar! The location is great. We went to the White's Ferry Brewery that was just down the street and thoroughly enjoyed it! I would strongly recommend a visit. We also walked around the neighborhood to include down to the Potomac! Very nice! We took a day trip to Harper's Ferry (45-min drive) and of course to the little downtown area of Leesburg (7-min drive)! Rita was super responsive and brough us batteries quickly when requested for the remote and a container of eggs from the chickens! The beds are comfortable. I did sleep on the sleeper sofa and while it isn't a typical bed, it was fairly comfortable. Having the animals just below us was really sweet! Loved them all! Enjoyed our visit very much!

We had the best weekend at Tom and Walt’s place. The setting is quiet and beautiful. The house has been lovingly restored. Furnishings are comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We will definitely return!

This was a beautiful cabin tucked away in a serene community. The cabin was well stocked with towels, linens, and kitchen utensils. We appreciated the cozy atmosphere and fireplace. Every room served its purpose well and was extremely inviting. Our kids enjoyed the hammock and running around in the back yard without getting too close to the water. It felt safe, calm, and very homely. The internet connection was great! Whatever we forgot to bring for the kitchen was already there. We will definitely be coming back. Thank you for being a wonderful host and so responsive. The property exceeded our expectations!

This place was a slice of heaven for those who like to get away from the hustle and bustle but still be close to activities. The manor is a stunning historic home for those who appreciate history and the little touches of old. The views and grounds are beautiful and peaceful. Fully stocked inised and out with everything you could need. Plenty of bedroom space and bathrooms to accommodate a large party. The outdoor fireplace and pizza oven was a relaxing touch for a cool weekend. The manor is within minutes of several wineries, breweries, and downtown Harper's Ferry which offers numerous local shops, restaurants, hiking, and water activities. Will definitely book again! Thank you to the wonderful host who was very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our weekend!

The set up of the home worked well for multiple families who were in the area for a wedding. The setting is beautiful and the sunrises are stunning. Adding a full sized coffee maker in the kitchen and moveable seating for the decks would be beneficial. Thanks for sharing your home!

This was such a special place and the perfect place to ring in 2025 with our group of 6! Paul was very responsive and helpful and made us feel right at home with fresh eggs and scones! The place was beautiful, cozy, and well located for exploring local hiking spots and wineries. We home to come back for another getaway soon!

The 12 of us had a great time during our stay at The Manor for a weekend hang out with friends. The house has a lot of space, fun amenities, and was very well supplied in the kitchen and bar areas. For our group, we specifically liked the extra-large dining table and Blackstone grill. The location provides good privacy. Thanks!

We had a wonderful time. Plenty of space for us to hangout but it also felt very homie . Keri was also incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. It was a great get out of town and feel in the country but also know it's easy to get to things to do.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the charming Silverbrook farmhouse. The moment I stepped inside, I was captivated by the cozy and historic ambiance that enveloped the entire space. The historical elements of the accommodation added a special touch, making my stay truly memorable. From the quaint furnishings to the beautiful architectural details, every corner of the place seemed to tell a story. The host, Dotti, was exceptionally friendly and responsive.
