Everything was great, the view was awesome, so great to overlook main st and be so close to downtown. Easy in and out. Street parking was absolutely fine even on a busy Saturday night. Great stay, would stay again.

This place was great for a weekend gateway! It’s walkable from Main Street from all the local restaurants and stores. We definitely would come back! Just as side note; you are on top of a storefront so there is some bass from some music playing from store opening to close. But other than that, this place is perfect!

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The space was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything that we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The host was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure I felt right at home. The location was perfect, close to local attractions but still peaceful and quiet. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a cozy, convenient getaway!

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this Airbnb that Diane owns. The place is beautiful and comfortable and the location is ideal for spending lots of time downtown walking, eating, and drinking. No need to drive! We will for sure be back here again. The bed is so so so comfy!!!! Diane does an amazing job of making the place feel welcoming. She is also flexible with checkin which was a lifesaver for this trip! Can’t wait to go back! Thank you Diane!

Great location - parking could be tricky so we didn't move after we arrived. Everything is walking distance. Comfy place! I would stay here again.

We had a fantastic stay here! We enjoyed watching the activity down below on the street and looking at the historic buildings (including the Desoto) across the street. Everything was so close by, the walk was enjoyable and nice to see the neighborhood a bit. Michael’s place is a great space, plenty of room and nicely decorated. It was just two of us this time but would be great for two couples. The home was spotless, incredibly clean, and very well cared for! We actually thought this space would be perfect for our family to have a trip here, so do find it disappointing (and surprising really) that children are not allowed. So if you’re looking for an adult getaway, this place is perfect for it!

We visited for very busy October weekend and really appreciated the location right above Main Street. The entry was private, well lit and it was nice to have a patio to relax on. Free parking was easy to find right up on Bench street. The unit was very spacious with a sitting area, tv, comfortable queen size bed, kitchenette and large bathroom. The entire place was spotless! The apartment is right above our favorite bakery/coffee shop and is walkable to all shops, restaurants, wine tasting rooms and park. Even though it is right above Main Street, it was very quiet which is important after being in crowds all day. Can’t wait to visit and stay here again!

5 Stars We stayed at this penthouse over the weekend with our group of 4 adults and 4 kids, and overall, it was a fantastic experience! The location is amazing, the space is beautifully decorated, clean, and very spacious—perfect for a family getaway. A few things to note: While the place was clean, we did find some crumbs under the bed and couch as kids get into things, but it wasn’t a big deal for us. The biggest challenge was the very steep stairs leading up to the penthouse—there’s no elevator, so carrying luggage up and down was quite difficult. Additionally, noise from outside was noticeable, so if you’re visiting during a busy season and have light sleepers, it could be an issue. Another minor inconvenience was that the assigned parking spot was often taken by random cars, which made parking tricky at times. Despite these small challenges, we really enjoyed our stay and would love to return in the future!

We love that area and Cynthia made us feel right at home - we will definitely stay again!

This is the second time I have stayed here and it is the best! The location is great and the space is very clean. If you are looking for something close to downtown with more than enough space this is perfect!

Was a very nice place to stay. A few steps but great exercise! Well done apartment, only thing was that there could of been a few extra towels. Good thing we only stayed 2 days or we would of had to do laundry. Would stay again.

What a great place to stay while visiting Galena! It is located right in the heart of the downtown. Everything was literally right outside our door. Inside, the place is absolutely beautiful, comfortable, warm, spotless, everything you could possibly need, with great views of the Main Street. Ashlee was very kind and responsive to anything we needed. Parking directions etc. were very clear. This is our first choice to stay in Galena. Thank you Ashlee!!!

The photos didn’t do the suite justice. The skylights and vaulted ceilings made the space feel large. It was in a great location, maybe less than a 10 minute walk to Main Street! Breakfast was served in the most adorable setting in a cute little room that was a part of the old brewery, complete with beautiful place settings and served by candlelight! The hosts were so sweet and super responsive!
