What a peaceful and relaxing setting . The place was exceptional clean and had all the convenience one needs for a relaxing time on the lake. Todd was a wonderful host easy to communicate with and quick response to one’s questions or issues.

My wife and I planned a weekend away with our children and parents. We got there and the pictures could not tell the story of how beautiful this house is and the lake. The view from the balcony will be a picture in our home. The kids had a great time bonding around the fire pit. And playing games. Because of my very busy schedule, it’s hard to get away and this is just what was needed. I would highly recommend this home, however, I don’t think that would be a surprise.

Joe & Megan’s place was perfect for my weekend away! The location and house were both gorgeous! Easy access to any shopping I needed while also being secluded and quiet. Joe and Megan were super responsive and gave clear, helpful instructions for everything I needed to know. What a wonderful getaway!

"Wow" probably doesn't quite capture how incredible our stay was. Aliya was so friendly and answered every question before I had a chance to ask them. The house and location exceeded expectations by far, and we're already talking about when we hope to be able to reserve it again.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay. The property is absolutely beautiful, the space was immaculately clean, and we had everything we needed to feel right at home. Can only highly recommend Anne’s spot. It would be our pleasure to visit again in the future.

I booked Tammy’s cottage on behalf of my mother who was visiting the area for a little over a week, and she absolutely loved it. The property was peaceful, spacious, and private, and provided great views of the lake and sunset. It was a delight walking out to the water in the evenings and seeing all the neat birds zooming around. The inside was bright and clean, and very well-stocked with everything she needed. We greatly appreciated the lived-in cottage feel, in contrast to so many modern, sterile rentals one often finds on Airbnb. Tammy was very thoughtful and easy to communicate with throughout the stay — she even made special dog treats for our golden retriever! Our only regret was staying during a particularly cold stretch in the winter, so we couldn’t fully enjoy the beautiful deck or get out on the water as much as we’d hoped. All the more reason to come back in the warmer months for another stay. This is a true gem in Orange County!

This is a very cute house, and everything about it matches the host’s description. It was squeaky clean, and I appreciated small touches like the extra toothbrushes in the master bathroom. Check-in and check-out could not have been easier. A wonderful bakery (Jenny Cakes) is within walking distance. Would stay here again!

We loved everything about our stay. From the house itself with the adorable frogs to the location on the lake, it checked all the boxes! We loved exploring in the kayak/canoe, relaxing on the back deck and watching all the boaters and jet skiers go by (they were very friendly!), doing puzzles inside, and everything in between. The house had everything we needed, which was wonderful. Tom was so quick with his responses and a great host. We would rent again in a heartbeat! Thank you for a lovely stay, Tom.

We had the most wonderful stay at Mckenzie’s place! The property was exactly as described—clean, and cozy. The location was ideal, very peaceful and secluded. Mckenzie was incredibly welcoming and responsive, providing detailed instructions for check-in and check-out. She was very eager to assist us to make our stay pleasurable. We had a great time paddle boarding the lake and chilling on the screened porch. Went out for drinks to buoys to break up the stay.

Had a great weekend at the cabin. We have rented a few cabins on hyco lake and this location was probably our favorite. Fishing was fantastic and we found a resturant nearby that was, a little pricy, but amazing steak. It was the closest steak house when you google "steak near me". We spent hours down at the dock house and when inside the cabin, the coffee bar and couch called my name often lol.

We really enjoyed The Pickle cabin. It was all we needed for a peaceful night with our pup. It's out in the country and we loved the quiet.

LOVED our stay and just wish we could have stayed longer! You immediately feel relaxed when you get into the hot tub and look out over the beautiful pond. Hope to be back someday!

This was our second year staying at this absolute gem on Lake Gaston, and once again, it did not disappoint! The cabin is beautifully appointed, with firm yet comfortable beds, an abundance of games to keep everyone entertained, and both upstairs and downstairs living areas—offering plenty of space to spread out and truly relax. And that’s just the inside! The outdoor space is nothing short of breathtaking. With a gently sloping walkway leading down to the water and dock, ample outdoor seating, and countless spots to soak in the beauty of Lake Gaston, it’s the perfect place to unwind and reconnect with nature. Beyond the stunning property, what truly sets this stay apart is the host, Natalia. She is hands down the most responsive and gracious Airbnb host we’ve ever encountered. Her kindness, attentiveness, and excellent communication made an already wonderful stay even better. I would 100% recommend this property!

This gorgeous cabin exceeded all expectations! The attention to detail from the host was truly impressive. We stayed here for a business workshop, and it was absolutely ideal—beautiful views, thoughtful amenities, and a perfect atmosphere for both work and relaxation. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful, making our stay seamless. We’ll definitely be back in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to friends and family. Can’t wait for our next visit!

This is my second booking; I wouldn't recommend any other property. Private, peaceful, and secure.

Our group of 8 had to cancel our mountain cabin due to the hurricane. We looked for another place and were drawn to this one for the natural, cabin like feel. We made a great choice! The living area is open with beautiful views but still feels cozy like a cabin. We had everything needed to cook meals in the stocked kitchen. The table fit 8 of us and there was space at the bar for more. We watched hockey and football in the large comfortable living room in front of a cozy gas fire. The beds were comfortable. It was nice having 4 full bathrooms. We spent several evenings at the fire pit outside under the stars. Sitting on the dock gazing at the lake was amazing. We took a few trips, all were great and highly recommend. Rosemont Vineyards is beautiful. Pontoon boat at LG Summer Rentals was fun trip. Petersburg National Battlefield is interesting especially the Crater. Dinner at WatersView Restaurant was excellent. Michelle & Tim were excellent hosts, responsive, friendly & accommodating!
