Absolutely worth the price of admission. Tub and bathroom is like in home spa. Clean fully functional kitchen. Definitely will be back.

A very cozy stay for a birder needing a weekend respite. Linda provided me with local trail recommendations and even hand-delivered a box of gifted bagels which was very thoughtful. You'll feel right at home here.

First I will say the place is amazing. Beatiful in fact. There was somethings that would have been nice to have in the kitchen at least a mix bowl. I ended up having to use cooking pots to mix things up, when I needed too. What surprised me, a few days after I reserved the house, I noticed that the the price was half what I paid. I figured that the higher rate that I reserved it at might have been because of the holiday since we were staying during Thanksgiving. I will rent again if available, I will just watch the price next time. It is very comfortable. You get to put your vehicle in the garage which was great.

Everything was great! Cute little place that is perfectly located. Only 5 min from Lincoln.

We enjoyed our quiet getaway. We utilized the fire pit and grill. The bed was comfortable and we had no issues with water usage or power. We walked everyday along the trail. The cabin was perfect for two. It was a lovely respite from everyday life.

Great little getaway spot on a peaceful lake. We sat on the dock and looked up at the stars without city light pollution, built a fire, went fishing and grilled some steaks. The amenities at “the cottage” were plentiful with a few bonuses like very tall ceilings, a very new and functional air/heat machine, a wine tasting, no bugs or ant issues at all and even a few friendly cats who came to say hello. We plan to stay here again in the future and are thankful to Brad and his family for hosting such a nice retreat!

Carol, the host, is kind and very responsive. The home itself may look humble and small, but you truly don't notice it because it's incredibly cozy, the atmosphere and the vibes were amazing. She had all the basic amenities you'd need and space for everyone. It was perfect for a small get together with friends. Would definitely recommend!
