Marks place was perfect for a ski getaway. Well stocked with everything we needed. Ideally located near Sugar and Beech mountain. The photos did not do it justice, the view was magnificent and the deck space was amazing. Enjoyed peaceful mornings on the deck overlooking the lake.

This was my second time staying here. Chris is always very nice and helpful. I’m looking forward to staying a third time ! Thank you Chris for allowing me to stay in this wonderful home !

Fairway to Heaven is beautiful and in an amazing location - minutes to the base of Beech Mountain. We were there during the last snow fall, and it was truly gorgeous overlooking the snow covered golf course. Tim and Amie were wonderful hosts - they were quick to respond to any questions we had. We look forward to staying with them again!

We had a great stay at Jared's place. Everything was very comfortable -- and the bathrooms and kitchen were super-clean, which was great. It was a very quiet community (winter), and the houses are placed for privacy/good views. The club also had very helpful staff, a nice pool, and a good gym. We were happy there was no ice or snow when we were there, as the driveway is steep. A convenient location related to Boone, Blowing Rock, etc. -- everything seemed about 20 minutes away. Jared was also generous on check-out time for us. And we appreciated the very simple check-out procedure.

Amy’s home was beautifully decorated and extremely clean. It was in a very quiet and peaceful area. Perfect for a weekend getaway!

Great place. Clean, felt like home. Great things to do near by. When I had questions, Christian responded immediately. This was my first Airbnb rental. Excellent experience, I hope he’ll have us back!

We stayed at Deer Run during a trip to bike the Virginia Creeper. The house was convenient to so many wonderful attractions. The layout of the home provides provided privacy to each of the four bedrooms. Such a lovely home to enjoy with friends.

Tammie made myself and my coworkers feel right at home. We would stay again. 10/10. Love these people and this little house! ❤️

Location, location, location!! This cabin had a beautiful view. It was very peaceful and private with easy access. It had a homey feel inside. It was clean and appliances were in working order. Ac/heater were working great! We had some snow furries and freezing rain during our stay but this was the perfect place to wait it out. 15 min from Boone! Close to shopping and great restaurants. Had a great time!

This was a very comfortable home. Spacious and beautiful, and very clean, with gorgeous grounds. I loved all of the beautiful artwork on the walls! We were there for race weekend at Bristol, so we weren’t able to spend a lot of time just enjoying the property, but would love to come back one day for that. I would definitely recommend!

Would definitely stay here again! Place was absolutely beautiful and the views were even more amazing! The place was right down the road from family and lake access, so it was convenient for us. Highly recommend to anyone wanting to visit Watauga Lake!

place was great check in was smooth. accepted our fur babies as well which was huge while waiting for house to close nearby. very nice inside. Had to do wifi calling as there is no cell service 25 feet away which is no issue of the host. very easy checkout . If I had anything to gig on would be the 2 full beds, which was super tight for our situation and had to sleep in separate beds. clean warm and fit the bill. Don't regret the booking at all.

This place is just as comfortable and cozy as described! It’s the perfect spot to unplug and enjoy some time away from the hustle and bustle of daily city life. The wood burning stove was a nice authentic mountain touch, and the home had a warm fire ready for us upon arrival. Thanks for a fantastic weekend. We’ll be back!

If I could rate Lisa’s place a ten, I would! We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Lisa’s home is beautiful!! We liked the hot tub, everyone had a lot of fun playing ping pong. The front deck is amazing! I wished it would have been warmer to sit outside. The beds were all very comfortable. The kitchen was fabulous. The living room furniture was comfortable to sit on. Everything was top notch. We cannot wait to stay there again. The proximity to Boone was an extra bonus. Our son goes to App State. Thank you! Sincerely, The Slingwine Family

This place is a mountain vacationers dream. It’s nestled in a secluded space surrounded by lush landscape and plenty of room to roam. The land surrounding the home is situated on a flat grass valley which provided hours of free play and exploring for my teens. They played in the creek, hiked up the mountain and deer watched daily. The road is exclusively for this home so the kids were safe to roam. The cabin itself is very large. Our family of 5 had plenty of space to spread out. The wrap around porch and balconies gave incredible views from every angle. The kitchen was well stocked. The linens were comfortable and the beds one futon, and one double bed in the two downstairs bedrooms were suitable for our teens. The master is upstairs and is gorgeous. Bed was small and cozy. Master Bathroom is huge and Has a soaking tub and a separate dual head stand up shower. The cabin is extremely well kept and all amenities worked just fine. It seems that the owners live there part time as there are family pictures, clothing and personal items around the house. I would certainly stay there again!!

Beautiful and peaceful environment! Leighann’s place is very welcoming you will feel right at home. I had a girls trip here and all the girls absolutely loved it!

such a cute place. pretty remote, but that exactly what we wanted. the views were breathtaking. and the sunsets were some of the best I've seen. the house was clean and stocked . I'd definitely be book this place in the future. don't underestimate the need of a 4-wheel drive. we were glad we had one the drive way is pretty steep.

Everything about our stay was amazing!!The home is so comfortable. The kitchen is stocked. The view is beautiful. The location is peaceful. We visited Elk Knob, Boone, Valle Crusis, Blowing Rock as they are all close by. As is Hawksnest - for snow tubing. The game room arcade machine, pool table, dart board, books, board games - we enjoyed all of these! The best part of our stay was the home’s amazing hosts. They called me in advance to let me know of some challenges they were still experiencing due to Hurricane Helene. During the conversation I mentioned that my son was very excited for our trip as we would be celebrating his 13th birthday during our stay. The hosts decorated the home and left a gift for him prior to our arrival. This touched us all so much. Also, we had a couple questions during our stay and received responses within minutes. Thank you to Tim and Mandy for such an amazing trip. We hope to stay here again in the future and 100% recommend this home!
