The lake house is awesome. Quiet and peaceful. Great couples getaway, or great get away with kids. Friendly animals to interaact with if choose to. Swimming, fishing, grilling, and nature. It was awesome.

Incredible lakefront getaway in the country! I can't say enough about how peaceful and relaxing this property is, plus the house itself is amazing with so much space. There are great views of the lake from the front sun room and a comfy screened in porch. Getting there is easy from the I95 exit at Benson - just 15 minutes on a quiet country road 242. The place was extremely well furnished and comfortable. The outdoor fire pit was great in the evenings. We easily caught a few bass off the dock. Overall the lake is quiet, the lot is spacious and a great overall setting. We brought in groceries and cooked all meals in the big kitchen. No need to go anywhere during our family gathering. Plenty of room for our dog to explore the fenced lot and the lake front. Definitely recommend the place, and host was highly responsive and helpful.

Staying at Oakridge Farm was an awesome experience. We really loved spending time with the horses and enjoying the view of the farm from the upstairs deck. The barn loft was super clean and cozy, and came equipped with all the comforts of home. Jill was a fantastic host - very friendly and accommodating. She greeted us outside with a smile upon our arrival and was very responsive to any questions/needs we had. Jill was even kind enough to extend our stay for no charge due to a bad winter storm. You can tell she really cares about her guests. All in all, we had a great time and can't recommend this place enough.

My stay here was great. Vivian was very responsive with everything I asked and needed. The view was amazing and the kids had things to play on outside. They had to be very careful inside playing bc there are a lot of breakables and plants inside but the floor plan is very spacious. I will say we did feel as tho someone lived in the space between rentals which is fine but a lot of their personal stuff was left out. Overall I would definitely rent again and stay because we absolutely loved it. She did warn us about certain things like the hot water and fish tank which I respected bc she gave us the heads up.

Definitely enjoyed the weekend. The house was spacious enough for everyone to have privacy. They provided games and entertainment. The pond in the backyard was beautiful. Great Airbnb, my boyfriend had a great birthday weekend!! It’s also very close to downtown so that was a plus!!

Pamela’s place was as described. Very clean and comfortable beds. She had little snacks waiting for us with suggestions for what to do in Raleigh.

Very nice and quiet neighborhood, very responsive and caring hosts. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling or locals trying to have a great getaway. I would definitely come back for future travels. Thank you so much for having us!
