We had a wonderful week long stay to spend Thanksgiving with our college aged daughter whose work schedule didn't allow foe her to travel home. The Daly house was conveniently located and served our needs well.

Deb and Mark have a lovely home and were great hosts. The house was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We appreciated the book with recommendations for the area. Deb and Mark were responsive to our questions and made us feel very welcome. A great stay!

Thank you so much for an awesome stay! We'll definitely stay here again. The large fenced in backyard was a bonus for sure. Our little dogs loved being able to run around free without their leash.

Second time we have stayed here and it is so great for our family. Fran and Howard are great hosts. We look forward to staying there again! Beautiful home.

The Trailside Inn is a fabulous addition to our AirBNB stays, conveniently located to nearby towns, great pricing and a huge space. This historic home has all of the amenities you could think of, it has plenty of rooms and space for a large group. Cup of Joy right next door is a fantastic coffee place that is convenient and affordable, check it out during your stay! The house was built in 1902 and has a ton of charm, my toddlers believe “someone else lives there” and saw “ghosts” which was a fun spooky addition to our stay 🤣. We would gladly come back when visiting the local towns again!

Great home and really loved our stay! Very clean and easy to get to house with simple access inside. Drew was very communicative which really help our stay. Looking forward to the next time!

Honestly, I can’t imagine a better experience. Absolutely perfect for what we needed. Only wish our trip was longer to enjoy more of what “Harriet” had to offer. 10/10 definitely recommend.

Absolutely stunning. The home itself is just immaculate in both craftsmanship and esthetic. Beautiful surroundings, so many comfy places to sit and relax. Had a great weekend away with old friends and it was the perfect spot to disconnect and catch up. We also chatted briefly with the host and he was super friendly and very helpful - he even offered a bundle of kindling and a lighter when he knew it’d be a perfect evening for a fire. Highly, highly recommend - we’ll be back!

Carl's place was beautiful! So much space! There were for us on a girls' weekend and we had plenty of space in the apartment. The upper deck was super cute. The apartment and neighborhood full of character. Comfy beds, clean rooms, lots of natural light, fun little restaurant down the street, and check in/out was breezy. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay. The apartment was great for two people. It was clean and quiet and nicely decorated.

Chelsea was an incredible host. Super responsive, especially when we accidentally locked ourselves out, she was Johnny on the spot. Very lively neighborhood, nice neighbors in the building. Once we found a spot to park we could pretty much walk everywhere. Very homey and cozy spot.

Renee was a GREAT host! I hope to be able to stay there again soon. She was always communicating, replied quickly, made sure we felt at home. thank you very much for your hospitality!

Location! This place is all about the location. We visited for a Dance Competition at the Iowa Event Center and everything was in walking distance. We parked our car at Jesse’s place and forgot about it. We needed multiple restaurants and they were all next door. We needed a bar and it was next door. We needed late night cookies and they were next door. We needed groceries in the morning and they were next door. Jesse goes the extra mile to assist and accommodate her guests. You can tell they put a lot of time, energy, and love into the property.

Stayed here for a couple of nights while passing through Des Moines. Becky is likely the most proactive and responsive host I’ve encountered. The space is also totally as described and it’s clear that the host has put serious effort into making the space comfortable with plenty of details covered that other hosts don’t provide: a couple bottles of water, K-cups, snacks, decent toilet paper, information about the area, cute decorations, plenty of seating options, a great shower, etc. The place was easy to access, it is close to downtown, it was clean, and the bed is really comfortable. As clearly noted in the description, you can hear the owners upstairs at times, but it didn’t bother me at all so don’t let that dissuade you from staying here. Great stay all around.
