We loved our stay and will definitely stay again! Quiet neighborhood, easy to find, super easy check-in, and for us, about half way between Univ of Mt Olive and beaches (we took the dogs to Emerald Isle several times). Katy was extremely responsive, had everything ready in advance, and thought of just about everything we could have needed for our stay (right down to paperclips in the office). The yard is very large and safe, the house clean and as described, and very welcoming. She left treats and toys for the dogs (and snacks for us!) upon arrival and went out of her way to provide and set up appropriate sized kennels for our dogs in advance of arrival. It was difficult for us to find a host as welcoming of our two large dogs as Katy was. We were turned down by several hosts when they found out the size of our pups (80 and 65 lbs). Katy never balked at that and we felt very, very welcomed at her home. Highly recommend with or without furry family

This is the place to stay in New Bern. Elizabeth's house is cozy and charming. The neighborhood is quiet and very pleasant to walk. We particularly enjoyed the gas fireplace and the outdoor seating area. The house is stocked with all types of supplies - spices, coffee, snacks, etc. It's amazing! The location is excellent as well. Easy to walk to Brewery 99, Crema Brew, and a French pastry shop. It's also a nice walk into the downtown area. Elizabeth is a wonderful host. I look forward to returning to her Airbnb later this year. Did I mention the house is pet friendly? Gunner gives it two paws up!

Had a fantastic time in New Bern! The location was fantastic, the place had everything we needed, and a wonderful backyard that our pups loved! It’s easy to see the attention to detail. All the little things that make your stay easier were there, like a fully stocked pantry, nice toilet paper, comfy sheets and blankets, sound machines. Everything had been thought of and it really makes the place worth staying. Friday night was a little noisier than anticipated with the loud cars riding up and down Pollock street and the ‘strip’ but it calmed down after midnight and wasn’t an issue for the rest of the weekend. If you like to eat out, enjoy a pint, and to park up and walk everywhere, this is definitely the place for you!

This is my husband’s second stay here in 5 months (work). Just as great as the first time. Perfect, clean little house. We will be back again next month.

Had a great time. Is what me and the ol lady needed. Somewhere peaceful and quiet. Bummed about no tv but honestly that’s what made it so great. We entertained ourselves and made a few unforgettable memories.

Great place to stay with your family. Quiet neighborhood. Comfortable beds, need a little upgrade on guest bathroom shower and pillows maybe, nothing major. Would reserve again when we return to visit family and friends in NC. Thank you Ms. Sherry

This was one of the better stays i’ve had in Jacksonville. The day I was supposed to arrive the host called on time and gave the right information for check-in. Any problems I had while there she was on top of them and sent help within 24 hours. Everywhere was very spacious and the kitchen had natural light along with a lot of seasonings making it easy to cook. This was an amazing place to spend Valentines for me and my significant other. 10/10 stay, all the way!!!!
