Nous avons eu un très beau voyage et le logement était exactement comme il est décrit. Toutes les commodités y étaient. Très confortable, chaleureux et apaisant. L’arrivée est flexible après 17h, mais contactez l’hôte pour plus de détails sur le processus. Nous l’avons appelé pour s’assurer de la procédure d’arrivée. N’oubliez pas de faire votre épicerie avant votre arrivée, car comme annoncé il n’y a que sel et poivre, mais tous les instruments de cuisine sont à votre disposition. Très facile. Le coin est tranquille, parfait pour un séjour hors de la ville, dans le calme. Oui vous pouvez entendre les voisins marcher, mais pas du tout dérangeant. Toutefois, n’étant pas dans la ville principale comme Bar harbor, il vous faut un véhicule pour vous déplacer sur l’île, pour vos achats et pour vos sorties. Nous étions à environ 30 minutes des hikes que nous voulions faire. Ça se fait très bien! Merci pour l’accueil et le logement impeccable. Je recommande

My Wife and I stayed for 3 nights, what a beautiful scene to wake up to each morning. The Machias River attracts so much wildlife ( Bald Eagles, Osprey, seals, deer and lots of geese that made the Inn a landing strip) and we got to see that every day. Area restaurants are very good as well. We look forward to going back again next year.

This was a lovely place to stay for our visit to Maine to see the fall colors and Acadia for the first time. Beautiful secluded location, cheaper than staying in Bar Harbor but still easy access to both the national park and Bar Harbor. Comfortable and looked exactly liked the photos.

This Airbnb was so well thought out. Cozy areas to sit and relax. Benches and chairs were provided for luggage and belongings. The kitchen was very well stocked and we were able to cook easily. There's a desk so I was able to work comfortably. The location is great! Just a block from the Water Street, restaurants, shops, and the brew pub. We really appreciated Lisa's artwork and all of the painted furniture and vintage pieces gave it a great eclectic vibe! Also love the fact that there were plants that made it a very warm and comfortable place to stay. We were only there for three nights and we'll definitely come back again for a longer stay! We highly recommend this peaceful place to stay! Views are amazing and a very comfortable bed and sofas!

Our stay was fantastic. The place was clean and laid out nicely. It was also close enough and an easy drive to Acadia National Park. Highly recommend, and I would definitely come back and stay here again!

Very nice apartment in a perfect location for hiking in Acadia Park (~20 minutes by car). Large supermarket close to the apartment. Dani was very responsive upon our arrival and available throughout our stay. We hope to return again.

Very spacious home for a larger family. The personalized coastal touch was seen in every detail of the home making for such a cozy and familial stay. Would love to come back during warmer weather.

A beautiful place in a beautiful area. Very spacious and peaceful place to be. We had no issues with anything once my group and I got there. A nice spot to hang out, play games with friends, laugh, and have a good time. Couldn't have picked a better place for our stay. Host is very responsive and willing to help make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Overall, very happy with our experience.

Very pleased with the accommodations, lots of room for us to have our own space to chill out, way better than the cottages we've stayed at before on Grand Manan. Location was great, peaceful and private, great spot to walk the dog and watch fog and tides roll in and out.

Extremely cozy place for a weekend away, even if out of season. It was super cold and snowy and wildly windy outside but inside the meeting house we were perfectly ensconced in a comfy warm home. The vibes in the main living room were super immaculate. I have to imagine that in summer it’s even better, we’ll have to come back. Much of the local area shops were closed during this weekend in February (this was to be expected) but the ones that were open were super welcoming and worth visiting. Standouts were Helen’s in Machias and the Lubec Brewery (plus the neighboring Downeast Hot Dog House). Highly recommended for a trip away, even if out of season. Definitely go visit the lighthouse at the end of the island.

We loved our stay at Pamela’s house! Great location, walking distance to downtown and restaurants. Cozy living room and comfortable beds. We couldn’t use the outdoors much because it was snowy, but the backyard and deck looked spacious. Pamela and her husband came over to shovel the driveway after the snowstorm, so we didn’t have to worry about getting stuck. We arrived late at night, and homemade bagels and some other essentials Pamela left for us were very helpful! (Bagels were delicious!). The collection of books in the house is great, and provides entertainment for all ages. Pamela is a great host, and we would definitely stay again.

We are a family of five with three teens. The space was perfect for us to all hang out together and play a board game at the dining table, as well as spread out and have plenty of down time in our own rooms. I thought it was a nice touch that the front door was open and the keys were in the kitchen. Great to have bathrooms in each of the rooms. When we were planning our trip, we weren't 100 percent sure if our pet care person was going to be available, and Sarah was very responsive and flexible with us asking if we could add our dogs at the last minute. We didn't need to bring them, but it was so helpful to know that we could. We bot a huge box of pastries from Clark Point Cafe, and we would have gone back and sat down for a full breakfast if they had been open on our second morning. I guess that gives us an excuse to come back! The back yard view is private and beautiful. So much to like about our stay. Hard to fit it all in here. Thanks to Sarah and her family for everything.

Diwas's place was great. Easy to check in and check out process was seamless. The house was spotless and accommodated everything that we needed. We were only really there to sleep as we spent most of our days at Bar Harbor or in the National Park. The recommendations that he provided were spot on! We were able to check out quite a few of his recommendations while we stayed! We were 100% stay there again!

This location is wonderful to stay at for visiting the Acadia National Park, or just a family getaway. It was a perfect autumn trip for our family. We enjoyed being able to stargaze by the fire pit.

We were very happy start to finish. The location was just so unique and incredible. Right on a working marina, but very quiet. Plenty to see and do nearby. Walk across the pier and buy live lobsters. Christie was extremely helpful and quick to respond when asked. Condo was very well done with plenty of touches to make it homey. A good value! If we come back to Maine, we’ll call her first.

The location of the condo is perfect if you are looking to stay in Maine to explore Acadia. The condo itself is minimalist but completely adequate. The indoor swimming pool and amenities at the clubhouse are perfect for anyone with kids and/or rainy days! The views were beautiful off the deck. I would definitely stay again!

We had a comfortable stay at Matsa’s in Bar Harbor. It’s walkable to all restaurants and amenities, and so close to the main attractions of Acadia National Park. The place itself was great for our group. We had two toddlers and they were also comfortable. The beds were comfy. Kitchen is well stocked, we had breakfast at the townhome all three days and we felt like after our regular grocery we had everything else to enjoy our meal— great collection of dishes and silverware, basic spices, and oil. If you enjoy coffee, get some fresh one, they have a machine to brew. The host is responsive and easy to communicate. If we come back to Bar Harbor, we’d love to stay again at Matsa’s.

This is a very enjoyable apartment. Derek did a great job setting it up. Very comfortable for one or two people. I love the wooden floors. It's clean, in good shape, and everything works! The screened balcony is a plus.

Well-equipped with guidebooks, kitchen implements, extra pillows, bikes, even a lobster steam pot! We lacked for nothing. Loved the photographs throughout the condo showcasing Acadia NP. Especially loved the map on the wall showing what islands we could see from the balcony. Neighbors were quite friendly & gave several good restaurant recommendations. Peaceful & quiet side of the island allowed for restful sleep each night such that I wasn’t tired after our vacation.
