This was a wonderful home that had lots of love exhibited in the furnishings. The host was very kind and helpful with tips as well as providing extra amenities that were very thoughtful. The cheesecake was over the top and added to our family celebration. She gave clear instructions for cooling the home and for ease of check out. Beautiful location (enjoyed the flowers and herbs) and lake view with awesome sunrises. Great to swim off the dock and spend time with family. We would happily come back next year!

We stay here for the night due to traveling for my daughter’s gymnastic meet. Everything was perfect! We absolutely loved this townhouse. It is quiet and the house is very clean, the beds were very comfortable. We will definitely stay again when we come back to Montgomery.

The house was charming/cottage vibes. We felt comfortable and relaxed. We were able to fish but didn’t catch anything but it was great being able to step out of the back door to the lake. We enjoyed the view and everyone enjoyed their stay even Baby JJ. I forgot to mention that we barbecued as well. It was fun, food and family! Will be looking her up again when we return-no more hotels for us!

We arrived cold and tired at 3am during winter to be greeted with a warm welcome. The lights and ducted heating were turned on. Drinks in the fridge, a gift basket and a Christmas tree with twinkling lights added to the feeling of coming home. Chelsea kept in touch with us throughout our flight delays at Dallas Fort Worth airport. Instructions to check in were clear and easy to follow. Chelsea promptly responded to our messages. She went above and beyond to meet our needs - getting an electric kettle and hand mixer delivered. The home is spacious with clean, family sized amenities, ample towels and bed linen. I strongly recommend staying in this home with Chelsea as your host. Hopefully it will be available on our next visit.

My wife and I stayed here during Christmas while visiting family in the area. This was easily one of the nicest / coolest Airbnbs we have ever stayed at. It exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect - private but still close to everything you’ll want to do in Prattville, Millbrook, and Montgomery. It was also tastefully decorated for the holidays, making us feel right at home. We would absolutely stay here again.

This place was outstanding...it has lots of fun activities available, a giant TV, and a well stocked kitchen. Everything was just as expected or better! On top of that, Chase even shipped us an item that we left behind!

Our stay was exactly what we needed… location and accommodations were perfect! Our basketball team was in town for a tournament, this house gave us an opportunity to relax and recharge. Highly recommend.

Fantastic lake condo at Lake Martin! We were visiting the area for a bass fishing tournament and Bob, the host, was very responsive and helpful! The property was very clean and having access to the boat slip, the pools, and the boat ramp were super convenient!

We’ve just got back from Kirk’s lake house in Alexander City. Our group of 6 adults, 2 kids and a dog felt quite at home. The house is amazing and the lake views are breathtaking. The place is spacious and we had so much to do both inside and outside. The downstairs level with a loft room and a bedroom was perfect for the kids to hang out and very comfortable for a family of four to sleep and have our own privacy. The upstairs bedrooms and bathrooms were beautiful and luxurious. The beds were nice (even the twin floor mattresses which were cosy and thick), the beddings and towels felt fresh and soft (like a luxury hotel). The kitchen had everything you could think of including an electric kettle (which is a rare thing in an Airbnb’s places). We really enjoyed cooking our meals there and the pantry had so many things. That was very thoughtful of the owners! The pots and pans were the best. We would absolutely love to come back to this gorgeous place! Highly recommended to everyone.

Charles was a wonderful host, friendly, & very responsive with any questions/concerns. The cottage has great use of space & all of the furniture is well-appointed/placed. The bed was very comfortable, & I love the tile chosen for the tub/shower wall. Everything was very clean, & we were provided ample toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, and bath items (shampoo, conditioner, etc.). The motion sensor security lights were very much appreciated because we arrived late after an event at Faulkner University, & they made getting unloaded & in the home much easier. The welcome gift contained very thoughtful & locally purchased items. The sweets from a local bakery were delicious & provided a great late night snack! We loved eating breakfast at the Farmers Market Cafe, First Watch (Midtown), Midtown Pizza, & 5 Points Deli & Grill. We also enjoyed shopping for antiques & thrifting at Eastbrook Flea Market & Antiques, as well as Amy’s Antiques. We would stay here again!

I had a great time staying at the cabin! It was a great escapade for the weekend and my boyfriend and I are planning to come back. The inside is so cozy and the outside is perfect for activities🤩

Had a short, one night stay with my husband. Jeremy’s place had everything we needed. Great location. Jeremy provided a great list of cafe’s and restaurants-highly recommend El Rey burrito lounge, delicious contemporary mexican food, great margaritas and extensive beer menu.

To date, Sweet Home Oakachoy is our favorite vacation home at Lake Martin! From start to finish, John & Sara were amazing to communicate with. It’s very obvious how much love they put into this home, as well as how considerate they are of their renters. The house is stocked with extra bath & beach towels, condiments, spices-supplies for pretty much anything you need or may have forgotten at home. There were only the four of us, but I can see this being a great place for a relaxing girls trip, or a big family reunion. I have a teenager, so the downstairs was all his. My daughter loved having a king bedroom to herself. I like that the bedrooms aren’t on top of each other. In between swimming/water sports, all had plenty of privacy/space to ourselves for napping or watching what we wanted on tv. One of the best parts of the rental is the Fish Shack-so cool! Although we didn’t get an opportunity to utilize it, plan to in the future-maybe for a long wknd during college football.
