What an absolute gem of a little getaway, Fiona is a great host and the shepherds hut is absolutely perfect for what we needed. The addition of homemade bread, milk, butter and jam in the fridge is such a lovely and thoughtful touch. Nothing will prepare you for how big and relaxing the hot tub is, we absolutely loved sitting in it and listening to the wildlife. The hut is really private and has its own little garden, we had breakfast lunch and dinner outside as we were so lucky with the weather! We will absolutely be back, thank you for having us!

I have so many great things to say, so to keep it short I'll bullet point. - Great location/community - Private - Friendly and responsive hosts - Clear instructions and tour - Clean and comfortable - Felt very welcomed - Also a bonus of a cat that sounds like a sheep :) Planning to go again, later this year. We really enjoyed our stay. The hut has beautiful surroundings which we enjoyed from the hot tub. We walked to a cafe and then drove into the local town and went to a really nice pub. The hut was clean and had everything we needed. Thanks Fiona 😊

Last minute Valentine get away with our two dogs. Despite pretty grim weather, you couldn't have wished to be anywhere cosier. Surprisingly spacious and everything you could think of, provided for a weekend away. Basic breakfast foods provided and of course Juliet's famous delicious short bread and doggie welcome treats.Private garden space adjoining a wood and secure field. Dogs roamed and played freely and safety. Bring lots of dog towels if you expect rain. Lovely shower in the cabin. Very well designed compost in a separate cabin. We kept close for dog exercise but there seems plenty of options for walking.. especially to pub...It's between 40 to 50 minute walk away. So many birds. This was a beautiful location and property to spend quality time with family for our Dads 80th Birthday. The living area was amazing all in the same room but different seating areas. The bedrooms were large and comfortable, black out blinds, heard the owl and woodpecker in the mornings and saw horses in the field opposite, log burner was perfect for the cold evenings. Straight out the front door into the forest for long walks. I would definitely recommend to others.

I had a lovely few nights at Franks place, great hosts. A cosy shepherds hut with all the amenities you need readily accessible in a peaceful location. I had a lovely time looking at the stars from the deck outside with the fire going to keep warm. Breakfast was amazing, croissant with jams, fruit and yoghurt bought to the hut, with everything you needed to make a tea or coffee already there. Would definitely stay again if passing through the area.

Tracys place was absolutely breathtaking, the animals and the views were spectacular. Tracy was such a good host, just soo welcoming and relaxed it made us feel at home even more

This was a good little find with the back garden basically being the new forest. If you’re lucky you might catch a quick glimpse of a couple off deer’s on a walk like we did. Also a few different types off birds. The location was ideal not far from Bournemouth if you want to spend the day shopping or at the beach. Or like we did we went Alpaca walking. Walks round the forest. Then back to the little home from home with the hot tub logs on the go for a nice soak in the hot tub heated up the traditional way. The hosts were very nice and helpful. So a big thank you. But the best bit for me was my dog fix 😁 lexi there lovely dog become my new best friend when we was there. She Sat with us in the evening and when we woke up she was waiting for us out side the hut. A really behaved dog. Even when we had a bbq she didn’t jump up or even try getting to the food. Really enjoyed our time there. I would definitely go back.

Wow what a special place. Dreamy hot tub and outdoor fire. The hut is decorated like a luxury hotel, lots of small special touches - fire wood to make a fire; board games to play, bath robes and slippers. We had the truly magical two nights away - perfect for some romantic time. We nipped into Wells on Saturday for the market (bus/car less than 10 mins) picked up lots of treats then enjoyed a lazy Saturday evening back at the hut under the stars. Lou was fantastic host, she helped set up the hut for my girlfriend’s birthday before we arrived which was incredibly kind and much appreciated.

Jenny was a great host! The Cabin was spotless on arrival! Very cosy and well equipped... As previous guests had noted the bed is super comfy!! The outside area for dogs is brilliant. Definitely recommend the Culm Valley Inn! Fantastic atmosphere - delicious home cooked food - 15 min walk. Strand Stores serve an incredible breakfast and sell high quality local produce! We also enjoyed a nice day out at Sidmouth beach..

Claire was the most amazing host from start to finish, all the beautiful touches in the shepherds hut were just so well designed and thought out, including a lovely bottle of fizz. The hot tub was all lit and ready for us to get in as soon as we arrived., we visited a couple of the local pubs which were absolutely delightful serving beautiful food. I totally recommend the Plough and the Hood inn, both only a couple of minutes away. The location of the Shepherds hut was just perfect far enough out of the way it was so peaceful and quiet but close enough to only be 20 minutes away from the M5. We have recommended this to a few of our friends and we will definitely be returning. Thank you for making the stay so perfect.

Clare and Luca have created a unique space to unwind in nature. It’s private with plenty of space to enjoy inside and out. It was a special treat having a wood-fired hot tub and pizza oven and all the little details made everything extra enjoyable.

Thank you for a great stay! it is definitely the best stay we have had. It is the perfect set for a gateway to enjoy the birds signing, walks, wood burner with board games & bbq etc. everything you need is provided and it is the most relaxing place, out the way, super private. its exactly like having your own forest. can't wait to go again.

We had a wonderful time staying in Sharon and John’s Shepards hut. We liked it so much we stayed on for an extra night! There were 3 beautiful dogs for our dog to play with, horses at the bottom of the beautiful well kept garden to get to know and 2 kind hosts always happy to help. With a lovely walk to the beach and a short distance from the forest whats not to love. Thanks for having us!

Absolutely loved the little shepherd hut. Everything was as described. It was very cosy and once I got to grips with the stove, it was lovely and toasty (& when I came the nights were very cold). Rustic & simple, but had everything I needed. Loved the quirky garden too & felt very private. Thank you. Heather

This little hut is exactly as described - a beautiful location, in a quiet part of the New Forest. Amanda was a very responsive host, helpful with instructions and even preheating the hot tub prior to our arrival, making it so much more relaxing. Thank you for an amazing stay, Amanda!

The Shepherds hut was SUCH high quality inside and the bed was wonderfully comfortable. There was much more space than we imagined and our 2 dogs were very comfortable too. The weather was cold but the hut has radiators and a woody burning stove, so was lovely and warm. The hut has its own private garden with fabulous views. Our hosts were so welcoming and had lots of recommendations for places to go/eat in the local area. Really recommend this place.

We loved staying here!. Shepherds Hut was lovely. Warm croissants for breakfast! Lovely, friendly people. Local pub was very good. We would stay again ... a definite favourite AirBnb!
