Lynn's Airbnb is a private, quiet space in a semi-rural family neighborhood. It's beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable, and has a kitchen fully stocked with utensils, towels, gadgets, and everything you'll need to feel comfortable. Lynn provided lovely beach chairs, a fabulous beach umbrella, a cooler, and cheerful beach towels for us to use. I really enjoyed this space, along with the beautiful patio. Views from Lynn's property are unbeatable! The neighborhood is quiet, lush, and green. It's a welcome space away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Kona, but amazingly close if you want to go anywhere downtown. I also appreciated the fast, reliable WIFI. Lynn is also a very professional host who is proactive, responsive, welcoming, and very gracious. I highly recommend Lynn and this Airbnb, and would stay here again if I have the opportunity. A fabulous location and view! Everything was as described and Kathy was very easy to communicate with. The bed was super comfortable and the view from the lanai was amazing! We saw whales in the evening sunsets! Kona town was an easy 20 minute walk. The market across the street had delicious a delicious poke stand and taco truck. We loved it here and highly recommend Kathie's condo!

Perfect place to stay during our time in Kona. Nice to have the beach chairs to bring across the street to watch sunsets. Also used the snorkeling gear when we hiked to captain cook. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again. Maybe TMI, but the bidet is a luxury addition

The condo was as advertised-lots of beach things to use (chairs, umbrella, towels, sand toys), great kitchen with plenty of items for food prep, washer and dryer along with laundry pods available. Wi-fi worked very well to hook up multiple devices, and there were 2 televisions available as well. There was a pool, but it was across the street and did not always get full sun due to the surrounding buildings blocking the light. Overall it was a very pleasant stay!

Condo is older and a bit worn but clean. Condo is walking distance to everything, or just a very short drive. Location makes this place a great stay. People in condos are extremely friendly and helpful. The best part of this place was the pool. We didn't swim much but sat and watched sunsets with whales in eve and dolphins in the am. We loved our stay and recommend it anyone visiting Kona.

We had an amazing stay! The apartment was so spacious, tastefully decorated and very clean. We loved watching the horses from the lanai and having Buddy the dog greet us everyday when we arrived back. We felt like we had the best spot on the island to watch the sunset. The sounds of the coqui frogs at sunset was absolutely amazing and so relaxing to fall asleep to. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped for self catering and it was really helpful having some things in the cupboards like spices, oil, syrup, etc. We were so sorry when it was time for us to leave!

Great place for a retreat away from busy life and to recharge during a vacation. We appreciated being around nature and the privacy to unwind and get plenty of good rest. Great location with its quiet neighborhood, beautiful nature surrounding the property, and close enough drive to the various food and activities on the Kona side of the Big Island. And a special plus with having the house cat keeping us company. Thank you for a wonderful stay! :)

We could not have wished for a more perfect home for our top short stay. We wanted to stay there months and months longer if possible. The house was very well stocked and the owner has thought of everything to make your stay amazing. The view of the most perfect cove is just a gem to wake up to everyday. We could snorkel and surf right in front of the home. There’s an awesome poke place within walking distance. This home is perfect.

We loved our stay here! Great location not far from Kona, but private. Beautiful property. The house has everything you need. Midori is very in tune with sticking the place with anything you could need as a traveler.

Great place to stay way from all the noise of Kona. Woke up every morning to birds singing. Beautiful view of the ocean from the back porch, saw whales close to the beach. Overall, the home was as advertised and was worth the cost. It was more home than my wife and I needed for this trip, and could comfortable support three couples if desired. The host was responsive to our messages and very friendly. I plan on staying here again if given the opportunity.

Our family's stay at Joe and Anna's home was excellent and perfectly set up for our three-generation group to enjoy a relaxing stay. The home has ample and comfortable indoor/outdoor communal space, was super clean, and is kept cool by fans throughout (and AC in bedrooms). Joe and Anna are very responsive hosts and have really thought about all the details. We really appreciated all of the thoughtful touches that made it super easy for us to explore the island (snorkelling gear, beach towels, chairs, and more) and the well-stocked kitchen. It was great to be in such a quiet and convenient location, with easy access to the nearby shopping centre with a grocery store and restaurants, and beaches/activities. This property is a real gem, and we hope to come back again!

Jason’s home was clean, accommodating and comfortable!! I really appreciated how well stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies and even feminine products the house was. They also have a great selection of kids supplies like a stroller, beach toys, a wagon and even a car seat. Super kid friendly!! I loved waking up and sitting on the lanai every morning watching the birds and butterflies. Super easy and walkable to Magic Sands beach (make sure you take the short cut!) Definitely would stay here again :)

We had an amazing stay at Jill’s place and would definitely stay here again. She was super communicative and clear in instructions; the space had everything we needed; and the location couldn’t be beat. We were 1 block from a great spot to drop our SUPs in each morning and loved coming home to the cozy Mermaid Studio each day.

We really enjoyed our stay here at the plantation it was so peaceful. Such a great place to stay at. Would love to come back in the future. Thank you sue for everything!

A+++ If you have found this option based on the criteria you think you need, there is likely no better place. The location is ideal. The view of the ocean & pool is incredible--the mesmerizing surf and scenery cannot be matched. A special note: This home provides three of the most comfortable beds that might exist within the Hawaiian Islands. Also--the front foyer is chock full of everything you need for beach fun... EVERYTHING...which was so helpful and reduced expense significantly. The efforts made by the host are very notable and appreciated. (I dig air conditioning--this place has it and it works wonderfully.) We hope to return to the Big Island and if we do this will be the first place we consider to stay again. This condo is close enough to anything and far enough away from everything--it will suit anyone...and really is a perfect vacation home. Mahalo!🤙😎

Terry’s condo was a perfect landing space for me while I was in Kona! It’s a safe, walkable and beautiful location! Parking is covered and easy and the facility is clean and comfortable. The backyard was a great spot to catch the sunrises and sunsets. The bed was comfy, the shower had great water pressure and it had all the amenities you would need to cook. I loved my time here and would recommend this space to anyone! Best suited for 2 people max. Thanks, Terry, for a wonderful stay! I had a blast!

We had a great stay here. Absolutely beautiful view from the unit over the ocean with gorgeous sunsets. Easy, short drive to Kona for restaurants and other shopping needs. Well equipped kitchen and easy parking. Only minor issue was there were no shades to block the late afternoon sun in the unit. We'd happily stay here again.

Kelly's place was a great spot in Kona. The condo was exactly as listed and had easy check in with a provided code. There was a quick snafu with check in that was quickly resolved by Kelly's responsiveness. The sand/pool area was a wonderful place for sunset and tide pool viewing. Would stay again!

This place reminded me of all the Hawaiian ingredients in one place - from the deck. Great surf waves, beautiful environment, watching surfers everyday, seeing whales from the deck, peaceful, beautiful stars at night. The unit itself was conducive to comfort and was very happy to have the availability of the air conditioning system; alternatively, one could also open the deck sliding glass door and the front door (there was a screen door that did not hamper privacy) to allow in the cooling breezes. Da Poke eatery was also located on the ground floor for those times one wanted a quick bite to eat. The hosts were readily available: I called - they answered; no need to leave a message. I have traveled to the various Hawaiian islands more than 8 times so my evaluations are based on experience.
