This house indeed has a magic lanai, with amazing sunset views and a beautifully private feeling. The lanai had a breeze if you were hot, and the pool was nestled calmly in trees and was a wonderful mid-afternoon reprieve, and great for the kids. The home itself is smartly designed to cool off quickly at night. Large space with easy flow. Chelsea and Rudi are very helpful When the washing machine broke (such is the randomness of life) it was easily arranged for us to be able to do the laundry next door. Loved the neighbourhood. Away from the busy Ali'i drive, but close enough to walk down to enjoy, or take a short drive. Private and quiet, this was a great home in which to unwind.

Sandra's place brings healing. It is beautiful, quiet, and serene. The views are lovely of ocean below, and the wind blows quietly through bows of citrus, avocado, and palms. There are likely multiple Walden Ponds on the Big Island of Hawaii, but this is one of them. Tranquility reins at this property.

We loved the layout and the proximity to some of our favorite beach areas within a 15m drive. It was nice having the grocery store so close and there were just enough kitchen items to set us up well. Like everyone else we adored the flowers, treats and access to the pool. We hope to come back and stay again.

This house is wonderful - clean space, beautiful decor and landscaping, nice layout, and great pool! It is also super close to everything, but separate enough that you feel like you’re in your own private oasis. It was great that a variety of beach items, pool toys, and baby gear was provided. Hosts were very responsive and helpful as well.

Great stay. We were a family of 4 with plenty of space to stretch out comfortably along with an excellent, well stocked kitchen that opened to a wide open den with amazing views of the ocean. Very central location that was easy from an exploring/activities standpoint. Pool was nice to have access to and great for ambiance. It was more for quick dips than lounging due to temp (not much of a difference with heating it in early March). Den opened to pool deck with great views. Master bath was dated as others have noted, but not an issue for us. No issues with not having AC in early March. There was a rental unit on premises with a single individual who came and went without bothering us, could be an issue for some. Made us think twice about leaving the kids home alone. We would definitely stay here again. Great for groups of 4-6 who like independence and value space.

Naomi’s place is beautiful, peaceful, and spacious. The lanai is an exotic and fun feature and the house is full of character. Tropical frogs serenade at night time while the morning starts with beautiful bird song and a view of the ocean. Meanwhile, beaches, restaurants, and shops are only a 5-10 minute drive away. When you stay in the house though, you feel as though you have escaped the hustle and bustle of day to day life. I stayed here with my wife, two young children, and in-laws. It was a fantastic time and I will always remember it!

I recently stayed at Justin’s Airbnb in Kona, and it was an amazing experience. From the moment we arrived, Justin was incredibly welcoming, offering great recommendations for local activities and making sure we had everything we needed. The house itself was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, creating a perfect island retreat. One of the highlights was the pool – it was pristine and provided the perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring the island. The outdoor area was fantastic, with plenty of seating, and we enjoyed several evenings watching the sunset from the lanai. The location in Kona was ideal, with easy access to beaches, dining, and shopping, yet the house felt like a private oasis. We felt truly at home during our stay and couldn’t have asked for a better place to unwind. I highly recommend Justin’s place for anyone looking to experience the best of Kona in comfort and style!

We really enjoyed our stay. For our family group of 9 this property fit our needs perfectly! The pool right outside our doors was great, and the hot tub was also used frequently. The kitchen was well supplied with whatever we needed for cooking at home. We enjoyed the outside dining area; the weather was beautiful, and we ate almost all of our meals outside. The house was very comfortable. Probably the feature I like the best is the view we had of the ocean to the west. We had some fantastic sunsets! Our host Khanh was quick to respond with any questions we had. We have great memories of our time there.

Cute little house close to town but still private with a great view. It’s 15 from town. They provide some beach items and the house is more spacious than we thought! Great for 4 people

Lovely location, thoughtful amenities and a wonderful Lanai, (porch) where we were able to sit and have breakfast or best, view the sunsets every night.

Excellent place if in the Kona region! Short drive to lots of amazing beaches and nice and sunny :) the place was great and as described, clean and spacious - even more so than the photos! Daniel provided us with lots of beach gear which was great and local recommendations! Wouldn’t hesitate to book! Mahalo!

This spot is not only gorgeous (think oceanview sunset) but also luxurious. Newly renovated, extra comfy couch and a projection TV. All within about a 7-min drive to the airport. Would stay here again to be sure.

Had an excellent stay. Very nice resort. Great location next to Ali’i drive. Had everything we needed. Within walking distance of the downtown area. Upper pool has a 1.5’ depth kid section, which was great for our toddler. A reliably great stay.

Home was super comfortable and great location. Pamela and Sofie were wonderful hosts and co-host. Very responsive, accommodating and friendly. Everything was perfect! Highly recommended.

We are a couple and stayed for two weeks in February. We loved the house. The lanai is so comfortable with gorgeous sunsets every night. We also appreciated how well equipped the kitchen was with everything we needed (and good knives!). And we appreciated the beach gear. Great beach umbrella! Cheryl was very responsive whenever we needed something or had a question. The location is great for exploring the west coast north and south. It’s a short drive to town and grocery stores/ restaurants. Be aware that there are no shops/ convenience stores or cafes within walking distance. A great place to stay. Highly recommended.

The most well stocked home I have ever rented. From everything you need in a kitchen, to spices and condiments, a closet full of sunscreen, first aid items, etc. Most importantly, everything this family of four needed to spend the day at the beach. Beach chairs and umbrellas, boogie boards, snorkel kits, etc. House is just as described and close to everything in Kona. House was spotless upon arrival and had great decorative touches. Sheri and Gary are lovely hosts. Very responsive and welcoming. Thank you both for providing a home away from home for our family getaway! Mahalo!

We had a wonderful vacation. The cooler evenings were appreciated after time in the sun. The lookout is wonderful in the morning. So many towels and amenities. For a group holiday this is a perfect place. Incredibly safe and peaceful. Frogs lull you to sleep.

Our stay was very peaceful, and we watched the pigs and geckos on multiple occasions. The neighborhood has very steep hills since it is on the side of a hill, but manageable. I appreciated the laundry especially after the beach, and Guy was very helpful and gave a warm welcome when we arrived. The sunset view was gorgeous, and I would recommend this home to others.

House is higher up the mountain which allows a great view of the ocean. Close to town and the airport and the Belt highway which makes it easy to go north or south on your travels. We had 3 couples and the house worked great for us. It's also in a residential area that was quiet with other similar nice houses. Would highly recommend if your staying in the Kailua Kona area.

I can't say enough good things about this home. The house is beautiful, the setting and views are perfect, and it is so peaceful! We loved our stay here... We were here with our son and his wife and our three grandchildren. The home has plenty of space to spread out and enjoy time together - we would go out for the day and then come back and be so happy to just look at the ocean, swim in the pool, take a dip in the hot tub.... You wake up in the morning and are so thankful to be here. The location is great - because it is close to everything - yet so private and quiet at the same time. The hosts are super helpful and very responsive. I cannot recommend this property enough... stay here - you'll be glad you did!

We live part time here on Kona- my partner and I planned a small wedding and chose this place to stay during that period so we could be close to some of our visiting friends. The place was spacious, clean, and has an amazing outside area to connect with those staying together. We played karaoke at night and made use of the fun popcorn maker which made for playful moments. Kyle the ground keep was very friendly and helpful. He took care of all of our needs right as we asked him. I didn’t realize he would be staying in the room right outside of the kitchen… if I knew someone outside of our planned guests was staying there in the main house with us I may not have booked…. Thankfully Kyle was fabulous and we loved having him there to assist us as needed - and appreciated his genuine personality, and thoughtfulness in the space as we passed in rare moments. You rock Kyle!!! I would happily stay here again, and I will remember the beautiful moments getting ready for our wedding in

Benjamin’s place has everything from cooking needs to kid toys and beach gear that is needed for a family ( or even a group of friends) to stay and enjoy on a visit to Kona. We very much liked their place and would be happy to come back on future visits.
