We had a lovely time at the property, would definitely visit and stay again. Very friendly staff and plenty of freedom and privacy. Couple of things to note, there is only one fridge for the 5 rooms we stayed at, and only one bath tub in the 5 rooms. Food was good, there are some nice shacks near by. location is excellent.

Unser Aufenthalt in Anjas Unterkunft war großartig! Bereits vor unserer Anreise hat Anja uns mit wertvollen Tipps für unsere Sri-Lanka-Reise versorgt, was uns sehr geholfen und unsere anfänglichen Bedenken genommen hat. Wir konnten gegen einen kleinen Aufpreis früher einchecken und wurden herzlich empfangen. Eranga, der sich um das Haus kümmert, hat uns ein köstliches Mittagessen nach unseren Wünschen zubereitet – ein perfekter Start nach einer langen Reise! Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Die zwei Zimmer im Erdgeschoss verfügen jeweils über ein eigenes Badezimmer. Wohnzimmer, Küche und Terrasse befinden sich ebenfalls auf einer Ebene. Unsere Kinder haben den Pool geliebt, der eine ideale Größe hat und von wunderschönen Palmen umgeben ist. Wir konnten den Pool ganz privat nutzen. Highlight war die Dachterrasse mit einem traumhaften Blick auf das Meer und atemberaubenden Sonnenuntergängen. Wir können Anja's Unterkunft sehr empfehlen. Vielen Dank für alles.

We traveled as a group of 6 to Villa Acres Green for a one-night getaway. The place was truly beyond our expectations and the pictures don’t do justice to the place! The property is spacious and gives you a sense of seclusion from the rest of the world. The vast garden is scattered with lots of trees, a pond and a well maintained lawn with benches and hammocks for a nice evening chill. The pool is much bigger than you’d expect and was clean. The tiles in the pool are starting to break so a little caution would be advised. We opted to get our food prepared at the property. The BBQ dinner was excellent, but the Sri Lankan breakfast (kiri bath) was only average. It’s possible that the food maybe a hit of miss in our experience. The rooms were nice; spacious and clean! The A/C cooled well which was more than appreciated since the days were scorching! All in all, we had a fantastic experience at the property and would highly recommend it to anyone travelling to Hikkaduwa.

Good villa for a big company. Location: 5 mins to the market, 10-15 mins walk to the beach. The beach is great. You can see a lot of fish in the water, A LOT. If you walk 5 more on the beach, you will reach the place with the turtles. All in the walking distance! Condition: the villa is not new, but the state is OK. And there is everything you need. 5 rooms: 2 on the first floor with the shared bathroom + 3 on the second floor with an individual bathroom each. One bedroom on the 2nd floor is bigger and has a balcony. All bedrooms have working aircons. Pool is shared with the hotel. However, during our stay there were almost no guests in the hotel, so we had the pool all for ourselves. The most I liked common areas: a very big hall on the first floor with multiple sofas, kitchen, and dining rooms. We spend most of our time there. There is also a table in the garden and you can ask the host for a grill to do a barbeque. The host was helpful, he answered quickly to all our questions. He also helped us to arrange transfers for a reasonable price. This villa is not new and you can see it, but I still think it's a very good option for the price.

If you’re looking for a private beach with the ocean, this is the place for you! Far from popular tourist spots, you’ll find peace and tranquility here. There are several oceanfront restaurants nearby. The staff is attentive, and excellent breakfasts were included!

Wir haben Weihnachten in Wally und Sampas Villa verbracht. Es war wunderschön, ruhig gelegen, mit allem was man braucht und entsprach den Beschreibungen im Inserat. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in diesem mit Liebe eingerichteten Haus und die Angestellten Kapila und seine Frau haben uns jeden Wunsch erfüllt sowie ein leckeres Weihnachtenessen gekocht. Die Kommunikation war reibungslos und eins der besten Unterkünfte für uns auf Sri Lanka. Wir würden immer wieder kommen.

Our stay at the villa with our kids was great. The Villa is exactly as shown on the photos and very clean. The garden and the pool were great. We could see a couple of peacocks, a monkey, and a varan around. The host's brother Chanaka was extremely attentive and responsive during our stay. He was able to arrange everything for us, starting from airport pickup and dropoff, through groceries delivery, sightseeing trips, and more at a very reasonable price. Definitely recommended.

A traditional family home in Kerala. A peaceful location, 5 minute walk to the beach. The family are very friendly and Kanchana is a super host. It’s a friendly neighbourhood, putting Avenra resort into maps will give you an idea of location. If you request it, Kanchana will make the most delicious curry and rice at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended

Всё нормально, только проблема была с светом, отключали 2 раза в день по 2 часа.Как нам сказали сломалось подстанция .

Sehr nette Villa, etwas außerhalb gelegen. Aber: Mit Uber zu allen Restaurants für rund 330 LKR. Nachts auch mit Security! Tolle Gastgeber, saubere Villa, toller Pool! Danke!

What an adventure. We were a group of friends with people of all ages and everyone loved the space. It’s not a child friendly place but kids (and everyone else) loved the surroundings,birds and views. We hiked to the neighboring hill and were rewarded with amazing views. The hosts are very attentive and dealt with any issues proactively. It’s not an easy location but one worth making the effort to get to. The house is beautiful and rustic. An outdoor bathroom isn’t the most practical but somehow adds to the house and we can see how it would be great on the summer. The kitchen had everything we needed, we cooked all our meals with ease, and the local housekeeper is perfect if you prefer not to cook, in fact having her cook for you is a great way of empowering her to create a better life for herself and her family. Jody and Punyaka were always responsive and we hope to have the chance to visit again, it’s not an experience we will easily forget! Don’t miss Diyaluma falls (take swimsuit).

Traumhafte und ruhige Unterkunft direkt am Strand. Ravith und alle anderen zu der Unterkunft gehörenden war sehr zuvorkommend. Man muss nicht alles annehmen, was einem angedreht wird und die Preise weichen manchmal von der ausliegenden Speisekarte ab, zwar nur um 100-200 LKR, trotzdem. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Совершено случайно нашел это бунгало и сразу забронировал. На территории часто можно встретить мангустов и обезьян. Co-host Udaya очень чуткий, всегда поможет! Его жена готовит очень вкусно, рекомендую! Жили в этом месте около 2-х недель, все понравилось, интернет стабильный.

The owner and his wife helped us with any questions, were always in touch. Good internet, fast, but there are restrictions on gigabytes, check with the owner before entering if you need it for work. Air conditioning greatly saves from the heat. The place is 7 minutes by scooter from the beach, quieter than the main streets, we like it.

Гостили на вилле Уэсли месяц. На поиски жилья потратили много времени, как оказалось в итоге не напрасно. Дом большой и комфортный, с легкостью разместит 8 взрослых , 4 спальни с индивидуальными санузлами, кондиционерами и вентиляторами (мы проживали вчетвером) Хороший интернет. Функциональная кухня. Посуда. Техника исправна. Плита на газу оказалась очень полезной из за перебоев с электроэнергией по всей стране. Использовали гриль. Хорошие матрасы, подушки. Постельные принадлежности, полотенца меняли дважды за месяц. Было бы не плохо укомплектовать спальни одеялом (некоторым из нас не хватало). Что касаемо насекомых и москитов, дом хорошо от них защищен. Но не забывайте, что это Шри Ланка) и нет, нет можно повстречать насекомых. Репелленты привезённые с собой не использовали. Что касаемо безопасности. Ощущение сложилось, что очень благоприятный район. Чувствовали себя уверено. Соседи очень отзывчивые и приветливые. Через день приходил садовник, приводил в порядок территорию. На территории встречали мангустов, бурундуков, птиц. Есть хорошая парковка. Брали в аренду авто и байк, очень удобно. До океана 5-7 км. 10 минут на авто. За Тук-тук до океана платили 600-1000 рупий (как договоритесь) Есть магазины с необходимым в шаговой доступности. Хозяин и персонал очень приветлив и отзывчив, любой вопрос или проблему решали очень оперативно. С Уэсли знакомы лично, порядочный и приветливый человек, приезжал познакомится с нами. Отлично провели вечер. Резюмируя хотим сказать, что чувствовали себя как дома. И если будем планировать поездку в район Хиккадува. Без сомнения и с удовольствием вернёмся на виллу «Sunshine Greens».

It was our 1st time in Sri Lanka and Dushanthi made sure we were well taken care of and provided loads of additional information that helped with our itinerary. We were pleasantly surprised with welcome snacks and a refreshing drink upon our arrival and a taste of Ceylon tea as a gift before we left. There was always a personal guard during the evenings, so safety was never an issue. The home was definitely spacious enough for 6 pax, and even more. We liked the fact that 2 rooms had private entries, hence our driver had his own space and a comfortable room. Situated right across the shore, we spent a few evenings watching the sunset from there. Blissful way to wind down the day. There is a convenience store, pharmacy and a reataurant right next to this apartment, making it easy for quick fix needs. Definitely will stay here again when we do visit next.

В доме хороший ремонт, близко к океану, пляж свободный. Хозяин быстро реагировал на вопросы, в последний день угостили вкусными блинчиками. Тем не менее, есть минусы. Волны действительно большие, в десятке минут ходьбы есть популярные пляжи с более спокойными волнами. Есть подводные течения, будьте аккуратны. Хозяин с семьей живет на втором этаже, будьте в курсе, если планируете шуметь по ночам. Дом стоит не прямо у пляжа, а в 10-15 метрах от него. В доме много муравьев, но это норма на этом побережье. В одной из комнат ночью слышно дорогу у дома.

Cant wish for a better home stay - we are a family of 4 from India and our experience at Gayan's place is among the best we have had in our eight days of stay in Sri lanka. Gayan was not home during our stay however his family exhibited such kindness and hospitality that we were filled with immense gratitude for them. Will strongly recommend to families with children. Spacious rooms, good AC, kitchen and a wide balcony, clean bathrooms and everything a family can wish for. Gayan's father owned a tuk tuk and he was always willing to offer a ride when required. Just a few hundred meters away from town. Besides, the breakfast they made was simple and delicious. Great value for money.

Aitana's place is a very spacious appartment with two comfortable double bedrooms (one with AC) and a large front veranda. The lovely hosts are living upstairs and are super helpfull. They organised tuks for us, came to check if everything was ok at check in and even organised breakfast and hot cappuccinos to be delivered to our door! The appartment is walking distance to the beach but away from the noise in the main road in a lovely residential lane. Perfect base if you wanna enjoy all what hikkaduwa has to offer (beach, surf, restaurants, party,....) but also wanna be able to retreat to a quite place to relax or work.

The garden and the view is amazing and can’t be better. Surrounded by nature and nature sounds. Everything is green. Very isolated but only 5 minutes walk to the street where you can get a Tuktuk. You can’t expect a western standard of furnitures and house. You are surrounded by birds, bats, cats… amazing. But as you are in the middle of nature also ants, insects. The owner cooked twice for us, also went to the groceries and cleaned the kitchen. He prepared fantastic meals. All this free of Charge !! Unbelievable. He helps with everything you need and is available 24/7

Unser Aufenthalt in Hikkaduwa war – wie auch schon bei unseren früheren Besuchen – einfach unvergesslich! Wir haben nun schon mehrfach bei dieser wundervollen Gastgeberfamilie übernachtet und wurden jedes Mal aufs Neue herzlich empfangen. Die Lage ist perfekt – nur wenige Minuten vom Strand entfernt, und mit dem Tuk-Tuk ist man in Windeseile im Ort. Die Gastgeber sind unglaublich hilfsbereit, freundlich und bemüht, den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Die gemütliche und herzliche Atmosphäre lässt uns jedes Mal wie zu Hause fühlen. Auf Wunsch konnten wir erneut das fantastische Essen der Gastgeber genießen – und es war wieder einmal das Beste, das wir in ganz Sri Lanka hatten! Frisch, liebevoll zubereitet und einfach köstlich. Besonders die Macaroni with Seafood sind jedes Mal ein Highlight! Eine absolute Empfehlung für alle, die nach einem entspannten und authentischen Aufenthalt in Hikkaduwa suchen. Wir freuen uns schon auf das nächste Mal! 😊

We stayed here for a week and had a good time. The house itself is a bit simple but has its own charm and has everything necessary for comfortable stay. It is spacious with 3 bedrooms (we used only 2), 2 bathrooms, living room and well equiped kitchen (there is a large fridge now which isnt on the picture). The hosts were kind and helpful. And the location is great with Narigama beach just few minutes walk away and we enjoyed it more than Hikkaduwa beach. Also the shops are just nearby the house and it is easy to get to Hikkaduwas with bus or tuk tuk if necessary. Overall definetely value for money and recommended.
