Our stay at your Airbnb by the stunning coastline has been nothing short of magical. Waking up to the sight of the vast, glistening sea nice morning is a memory we'll cherish forever. The room is not only beautifully decorated but also exudes a warm, cozy vibe, making us feel right at home. A special mention goes to those creative Maori - phrase fridge stickers. They are not just a cute decor but a fun learning tool. We've had a blast picking up some basic Maori words. Thank you for creating such a wonderful place! We will definitely recommend this place to our friends.

we loved it. very spacious with room for our family of 4. very close to Kaikoura proper, super close to the shore and a gorgeous track. owners are great with great recommendations. we'd def stay again if we come back to New Zealand. gorgeous area!

Lieu atypique et plein de charme. Nos enfants ont adoré dormir dans l’ancien garage des diligences avec les selles des chevaux exposées comme décoration. Mike et Linda ont été très accueillant et nous ont fait faire le tour de la propriété qui réserve de nombreuses surprises! Malgré le temps pluvieux nous avons passé un très bon moment !

We were upgraded to this beautiful property with stunning views due to a double booking. This wonderfully architect designed home had everything we needed for our one night stay at Kaikoura.

Fun and funky home with plenty of space. Most importantly, some of the best views of the mountain range in Kaikoura. And just minutes from great restaurants and everything else in town.

A couple of things, Pet/Park fee: If you’re bringing a pet, you’ll pay an extra fee on top of the Airbnb rate. TinyAway listed it, but it wasn’t obvious. My partner and I missed it when we reviewed the listing and only realized it after booking. We share some responsibility, but it could’ve been clearer. The drive up: 4WD is essential for steep areas unsuitable for city cars. Driving up and down the mountain was terrifying but memorable. Pictures of retrieving the key would’ve been helpful. Summer: We visited in the summer, and it was extremely hot. We couldn’t spend time outside because of the flies. This isn’t a complaint about our hosts, but a heads up for anyone coming in the summer. Hosts: TinyAway as the main host were very responsive, sub host Tim was not, so that could be improved. View: The view is absolutely gorgeous. Loved it. Home: I thought the home was clean, my partner thought the fridge wasn’t. Eco-toilet took a little getting used to. Bring your own food/snacks.

Dejligt hus med en hyggelig have til. God lokation i byen. Vi havde desværre mange myrer på nogle af værelserne, men ellers nød vi virkelig vores ophold.

The second we walked in, we wished immediately that we could stay longer. Everything was so spectacular about this home. The location provided spectacular views and the space was so comfortable. We especially appreciated all the little extras. Thank you for the coffee and tea and for accommodating our request for an early check in. Our time in "The Edge" went way way too fast and we can't wait to return. Thank you for letting us make memories in your beautiful home and for making our visit to Kaikoura so special.

Loved our stay. The view was amazing and the Dolphin show every morning was magic. The seals that have made themselves home in the rocks were super cute and very inquisitive.

Great house to stay in, perfect location and very comfortable. Very understanding and helpful when I had to adjust our booking a couple of times. Would definitely stay here again.

Although it was only one night, it was a special experience. Being able to hear the voices of animals and birds so close is another perk of this hotel. The feeding, which started at 9 a.m.was a particularly exciting experience for our children. This is a highly recommended accommodation for those who are highly environmentally conscious. thanks！

Jennifer's place home away home. Felt so comfortable away from home. Each and every thing, she has given importance for the comfort of residents. One need not worry about any thing. She is a wonderful host, waited for us to reach the place and given all the information needed for us and left. She has maintained that place so neat and comfy. We would love to return to Kaikura and stay in Jennifer's place and also recommend this place for every one. Home away home. Wonderful break fast with lots of variety and no one is left out in that spread. She has even taken care of small details for us, when we reached so late. Very cosy stay and beautiful scenery. Being able to have a spa at sunset was just perfect.

Amazing place with incredible scenery in both poor and good conditions. Great for an exciting adventure with all of the usual comforts once indoors, really enjoyable to live in a simple and minimal way up in the mountains.

Tim was great. So was the hot tub and the fireplace. Definitely a trip to remember

This property was one of our favorites on our 3-week adventure across New Zealand! We unfortunately only spent one night here, but we would’ve loved for our stay to be longer. We took advantage of the natural plunge, private waterfall, and peaceful surroundings. Kylie was so kind and gave us a full tour of the property, making us feel right at home. The shed was so eclectic and unique, which we loved. We would absolutely stay here again (and for a longer period)!

A perfect house with great amenities. Lovely views from the very sunny balcony which itself was surrounded by a beautiful garden, full of lemon trees and flowering jasmine. Very comfy beds, great shower and a superb kitchen. We loved the separate media room with tv although we didn’t spend much time in there as the beach walks were more appealing. Great stay, thank you!

If you’re adventurous and enjoy unique places, then like us, you’ll love this place!Thankfully for us the weather cleared the afternoon we arrived and we had fantastic views of the mountains and surrounding areas. Some persistent stoking of the hot tub paid off and a good relaxing soak in steaming hot water as the clouds rolled in and rain started in the late evening was beautiful!
