A perfect house for 6 to share and a wonderful location for a biking adventure in Kaikoura. We were able to bike from the house to join the Kaikoura cycle trail. The house was very comfortable and warm with great views. It is a quick 5 minute drive to town for a lovely dinner at The Pier Hotel. I would highly recommend a stay at Leo’s in South Bay.

Our stay at your Airbnb by the stunning coastline has been nothing short of magical. Waking up to the sight of the vast, glistening sea nice morning is a memory we'll cherish forever. The room is not only beautifully decorated but also exudes a warm, cozy vibe, making us feel right at home. A special mention goes to those creative Maori - phrase fridge stickers. They are not just a cute decor but a fun learning tool. We've had a blast picking up some basic Maori words. Thank you for creating such a wonderful place! We will definitely recommend this place to our friends.

This is a superb modern house, tastefully furnished and excellently equipped. The views down the coastal ranges to the south are world-class, and Kaikoura itself is barely five minutes away. Despite its proximity to town, Ocean Ridge is quiet and private. I've driven through Kaikoura several times over the years but never stopped. That was a mistake. It's well worth spending a few days there, and this is most definitely the property to stay in. Amanda is responsive, friendly, and helpful. We hope to return.

Fun and funky home with plenty of space. Most importantly, some of the best views of the mountain range in Kaikoura. And just minutes from great restaurants and everything else in town.

We loved the peaceful area, absolutely breathtaking views, outdoor tub and unreal sunrises from the cabin. We loved unplugging, quick trips to check the surf and the slow comfort of the space. Fantails came to visit daily and the stargazing was awesome. Truly a special space and we hope to return someday!

What a wonderful find. Spotlessly clean, super comfy bed. Kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our own meals. Great to be able to catch up with our washing too. Perfectly positioned for walking the Kaikoura peninsula, many different tracks all well sign posted. We did the Whale watch tour ( just up the road ) incredible to see the Sperm Whale, Dusky dolphins, Common dolphins & the Hector's dolphins. A good selection of shops just up the road. And a beach just across the road....What more could you ask for, Jacky is a super host, thank you for making our stay special, we shall return next year.

We had a wonderful stay at Ngaroma. Philippa was an accomodating, responsive, and attentive host, and made sure we had everything we needed. Would recommend to anyone looking to relax and disconnect. Thank you so much Philippa!

Lieu atypique et plein de charme. Nos enfants ont adoré dormir dans l’ancien garage des diligences avec les selles des chevaux exposées comme décoration. Mike et Linda ont été très accueillant et nous ont fait faire le tour de la propriété qui réserve de nombreuses surprises! Malgré le temps pluvieux nous avons passé un très bon moment !
