We spent the last of 5 weeks in NZ at Abby's cottage. The house is exceptionally charming and peaceful, with the infrared sauna and hot tub especially inviting. Abby is an exceptionally helpful host and met us as we checked in, to assist us in navigating the amenities and rooms (3 bedrooms). Her location is 1/2 mile from town center and we walked for coffees and dinners ever y. The house is on the edge of town and secluded, so star gazing on clear nights is brilliant. The house has eclectic charm and is exceptionally comfortable. Coromandel town we found to be only 30 minutes from the beaches on the N and E shores of the peninsula, and Abby directed us to some truly amazing beaches and nearby tracks. We will look to stay again next time we are in the N NZ!

Great place to stay, central in Mangawhai Heads, walking distance from town shops. Happy to book here again.

Absolutely beautiful space, really loved that the place had all the things required to cook food. We had a long stay and it definitely felt like a home away from home. It's close proximity to the beach made for lovely runs in the morning. Already hoping to book again on my next trip back home with the family

Sarah’s home sits in a stunning location. When you walk in the view of the ocean and the bay by Palm Beach and the sailboats against the shimmering water and huge sky is just unforgettable. The house is big and comfortable and well stocked with everything you need. The salt water pool is the perfect temperature and the hot tub is hot and warms you up after swimming. The walking track is right in front of the house. It’s on a steep drive but it’s centrally located on Waiheke and easy enough to get everywhere. We really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful rural setting, the house was very spacious. Perfect for our little family getaway, the pool & spa were a lovely treat. Tracey was amazing to deal with, would absolutely come back again to this gorgeous air BnB :-)

Eigentlich wollte ich „nur“ 4 Sterne geben - leider haben am Anfang die Außenbäder nicht funktioniert, es waren ein paar Schäden vorhanden (z.B. lockere Badezimmerarmaturen) und am Boden lagen ein paar tote Insekten, in den Ecken nicht wenige Spinnweben und der Grill funktionierte nicht richtig (Anzünder defekt). Die zwei Feuerzeuge waren beide leer bzw. defekt. Allerdings hat sich Ricky so gut wie möglich darum gekümmert - es kam jemand und hat die Bäder repariert (die Batterie des Durchlauferhitzers war leer) und ein neues Feuerzeug für den Grill gebracht. Außerdem ist das Haus halt schon sehr geil. Die Aussicht ist der Hammer und die Garage hat auch mehrere nette Spielmöglichkeiten. Unserer 2,5 jährigen Tochter hat es super gefallen. Die Küche war an sich sehr gut ausgestattet und sauber. Das entschädigt dann für die zuerst genannten Kleinigkeiten 👍🏻

This place is amazing and beautiful. The house is very well maintained and as it looks in the pictures. The pool was clean and big and nice, hot tub was also great. The house is very spacious and has a great speaker system. Check in was easy and you truly have the entire estate to yourself. My only negative feedback was on the golf course. I booked this place so I could play golf and the course is unplayable. Still had fun hitting balls around but it’s not been well maintained. Also, the bbq wasn’t clean enough to cook on. Everything else was great.

We had a great stay, the house was very nice with great views. It had everything we needed and was a very relaxing stay. The only thing worth noting is the driveway is very very steep & we had to walk down to meet the taxi van but our cars were able to make it up the driveway.

The place is beautiful and the view spectacular. It's walking distance to beach. Also it's adjacent/within a 'resort' with restaurant and pool, staff, so you have plenty of support and amenities. It's across the bus stop, which comes in handy because taxi fares on the island are astronomical but public transportation is punctual and efficient.

The place is amazing, very large living area with many very clean and decently spaced rooms. I wasn’t aware of the 5-10 minute gravel road the house is on. Daniel was amazing at communicating when I need to get in touch with him however the packing up procedure could have been outlined better, but other than that the four informative emails sent outlined everything needed for our stay. The view is just as amazing in person as the photos both sunrise and sunset, especially lounging in the spa.

What a wonderful weekend my partner and I had at the couples retreat. Nicky was very responsive and gave very clear instructions which made check in a breeze. It was exactly as listed in the description and was great value for the place compared to other listings. The views from the balcony were absolutely beautiful, and the outdoor bath was very private and great for stargazing. The place was pristine and everything was very easy to find. Would 100% stay again, my partner and I loved every moment of our stay.

This house was absolutely incredible! The photos honestly didn’t do it justice it was just massive and the pool with the stunning view was a dream. The projector was also such a great touch and our guests had a lot of fun watching music videos and doing karaoke in the large room. Daisy’s communication was great throughout the process too. My only feedback would be there wasn’t enough basic kitchen items such as larger plates and platters for cheese boards or any salt, pepper and sugar that we could see so would suggest bringing your own! But apart from that super minor inconvenience everything else was incredible and everyone had an amazing time! Would love to return some day!

Five adults and six children had a wonderful weekend in Mangawhai, using Carolynn's house as our base. There was plenty of space for everyone to find their own corner, both inside and out. The kitchen was big enough for several cooks to work in at once and the dining table was big enough for us to all sit around so mealtimes were a treat, not a chore. Amazing view to the east, including sunrise across water and moonscape sand dunes. The spa at the end of the day was a special treat for our family, as was the large TV screen in the lounge. We missed a few books and board games but everything else was in good supply. Thank you for a special long weekend with my family Carolynn.

The size of the house and facilities provided were very good for a 7 night stay for our family; my wife and I, our sons and partners and 2 young grandsons. Checkin was simple and we found a very clean house. Our bed was very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. The owners were very responsive to a couple of queries we had and even provided some additional facilities to assist us, thank you. The house appears to be a 1970-80s style and fit out, and had numerous useful living/ dining areas. Our family and especially our grandchildren loved the swimming pool, spa (which was always warm) and the sauna; the large pool table provided lots of fun and entertainment for the men of the family. There is a small but useful shopping block about 600m away at the start of the street where we purchased supplies, had a meal, and regular morning coffee and snacks, very useful. Lastly, there is a lovely long riverside walkway and parks within a couple of mins walk.

We had a fabulous stay at Pinki’s cabin! The sunsets were AMAZING and the tranquility of the location something special. Great place from which to explore Karekare and piha as well as just relax on the deck. The cabin was perfectly set up for 2 people. Outdoor shower a real plus too. Only thing I would do differently next time would be to bring some mosquito coils and/or plug-in diffuser to help keep the bugs out of the cabin in the evening. And, if the weather is forecasted to be warm overnight, an electric fan. We would highly recommend Pinki’s place for your next stay!

Linda was friendly, helpful & a great host, allowing us to arrive early on short notice & kindly offering a few extra hours on our last day. We enjoyed the stay very much w the serene private backyard & outdoor bath. Great access to the township & local pub just a stroll out the backgate! Highly recommend!

Wonderful little accomodation that is perfectly suitable for two people. Very clean, gorgeous location with a fantastic addition of a hot tub. Accomodation has everything that one could need all at a great price. Hosts were very helpful and quick to respond which we are very grateful for. Despite no assigned parking, we had no trouble parking the car right outside the accomodation on the road— so don’t let the no parking deter you. Thank you again for hosting us!

We had a fantastic time here. Absolutely beautiful place to stay. So relaxing being in the countryside with the amazing view and the spa. It’s not fancy, you have to like rustic but it lived up to all expectations as it is exactly as described in the listing.
