This was a great apartment to stay in, super easy to get in (very detailed instructions), handy to the Wynyard Quarter and the Viaduct. Great views, nice and spacious - fantastic for a group.

If you are looking to stay in a beautiful home with spectacular views, you have just found the place! As soon as we arrived, Lynne greeted us with a big smile and a bouquet of fresh picked flowers. She was so warm and welcoming along with little dog Lexie, who was so friendly. Lynne’s place is very spacious, clean and tidy. The rooms are tastefully decorated with comfortable furniture. The bedding and linens were also top notch. The kitchenette was surprisingly stocked with fresh fruit, home made muffins, milk, water, cheese and crackers….and even a very nice bottle of wine! We stayed for two nights and enjoyed eating many of our meals on the deck, which overlooks the beach, which is less than a five minute walk away! Lynne’s small touches made our stay so relaxing that we hope to return again next year!

If you are looking for waterfront , this location would be hard to beat in Mangawhai. On the estuary where you can swim in front of the unit. 5 minute walk to the surf beach and start of the Cliff walk. Amazing sunrise which is even better if you walk the 5 mins to the beach. The unit has very well maintained retro finishes that take you back in time. We were here in late March so it was very quiet and peaceful. Loved it.

Phenomenal location and unique location right on the marina, with spectacular views of Viaduct Harbour and Sky Tower.

Simon’s listing is a true gem. This place did not disappoint! I feel like the photos and description don’t do it justice, it’s even better in person. My husband and I absolutely loved staying here. It was minutes of walking distance from tons of shops and restaurants but still felt incredibly private and secure. We throughly enjoyed sitting on the balcony, enjoying a glass of wine and the nice weather. It was hard to leave at the end of our stay! Can’t recommend this place enough or say enough good things about Simon as a host!

Lovely apartment right by the water. We used the kayaks which was great fun to do on a hot day. Easy walking distance to the many restaurants. A great stop over point on the way to Auckland. Very comfortable beds.

A decent sized studio in a great location. Communication from Cannelle was great, she was responsive and gave us a late check out. No air con but it wasn't too bad at this time of the year.

The place and location was amazing and well worth the surprise. Wished we could have stayed longer and highly recommend Emma's place.

We had such a great time at Chloe and Ben's. It was clean and spacious, 1 min walk (if that) to the estuary and five minutes to the lovely surf beach so you could visit several times a day. It didn't need to be a big complicated affair as it was so easy to nip back to the house for food etc. The shower was awesome - very strong pressure. Everything was provided - linen, blankets, pillows, glasses, cutlery etc and all in great condition - and the kitchen was well equipped, including dishwasher and lots of good pans. Loved that we could eat outside on the deck, there was a fenced yard for the dog to run (he was in heaven), plus a trampoline, barbecue and fire pit. The view from the deck was stunning, and the overall vibe of the place was so friendly - from other holidaymakers with kids to the people working at the campsite. Would definitely book again.

We loved Karl’s space. Easy check in, peaceful and quiet. Our daughters were able to explore and enjoy the jacuzzi after a day adventuring. Will be back for sure.

The house is very clean and modern and nice views onto the dunes and estuary. The beds and couch are very comfortable. Kitchen is well-stocked, house very easy to settle in. There is a walking path towards the estuary just outside the house for a short stroll. Grocery, restaurants, shops are all less than 10min away. Sandra was very responsive and had someone nearby that could take care of small things quickly. There is a small parking space on top of the hill behind the house (on Estuary Dr; it may be tricky to navigate two cars in the actual driveway). There is hot water kettle, no coffeemaker, instant coffee provided. Peaceful at night, beautiful stars and milky way on clear nights and be sure to catch the sunrise!

Lovely place to stay. Very well equipped. Great for family group of 3 generations. Great views from all rooms and always something happening on estuary. Pool table, spa , pizza oven and kayaks provided great variety of options. Highly recommend

Lynne's place was very tranquil and a pretty special slice of the country, it was very private and you had access to your own private bay. The views were incredible. A bit of a hike too drive too - be prepared for the windy roads but absolutely worth it! Would recommend to a friend and would stay again and relax with a book looking out to the bay.

Had a lovely stay at Kathy’s place. Beds were comfy, kitchen well stocked, and really enjoyed the view from the dining area. Kathy was very helpful and kind. Weather had us changing plans but hope to come back in the future!

Great place. aweesome view if you love the harbour and boats. some clubs are loud over the weekend, but listening to live music on the deck is not as terrible as it sounds (and its alot quieter if youre inside with the doors/windows closed). The cafes, restaurants and bars that are on your doorstep have great food and atmosphere. I can recommend Giraffe, White and Wongs, and Wildfire from this trip. The ferry terminal is 5-10 minutes walk from your door, so exploring the islands in the hauraki Gulf is right there. Lots of shopping and malls are 5-10 minutes walk inland. it's a great location with everything very close by and what isn't, is just a short uber or lime/flamingo scooter ride away. Linley's apartment was perfect! A beautifully setup place to relax in which had everything you needed, even down to a portacot for our little one. There a as also a swimming pool, spa and a carpark available. A quick walk to lovely cafes, and the Viaduct and downtown CBD. Just a perfect location! Linley was extremely helpful prior to our arrival and we would most definitely recommend a stay at this awesome air bnb. Thanks so much for everything Linley, and also to Karin! 🙂

We loved staying here! We were able to communicate with the hosts with ease. The Airbnb is within walking distance of restaurants, grocery stores and everything in between. Irene is really accomodating and had come down to check on us to see if we needed anything which was nice. The facilities were great. Personally, the pictures don’t do the property justice! We were pleasantly surprised at how spacious and homely it was. Most definitely would stay here again if I’m in the area next time😊

Pia was a wonderful host, welcoming us in person and making us feel right at home. Her place has the most well stocked kitchen I've ever seen in an Airbnb and it was so convenient to have little things like spices, cling wrap, etc. The apartment was furnished very thoughtfully and there is plenty of room to lounge around and relax. The location could not be better with the beach as your backyard. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here!

Repeat Customer This is just a very special place. We have stayed here multiple times. It feels like our home away from home. It’s just very unique to be in a very private building right in the middle of a fantastic beach town on what is probably the best urban beach in New Zealand. You will love it!
