The cabin was exactly same as it is shown in pictures. Caretaking staff are very polite and responsive. It is located in the middle of coffee platation and surrounded by hills. You can enjoy hearing to different birds in early morning. Totally it's a calm and private place. It's a great place for those who would like to detox from busy city life. Host is also responsive and helpful. Negatives: I found only one Negative point that the estate is located just few meters interior from main road in a coffee plantation, so from main road to estate you have to go through a metal road which is approximately 250 to 300 meters patch.

We had a wonderful time at Akhil’s place. Uncle,Aunty and Akhil are the best host and very friendly. We immediately felt like home and family being there. Akhil was very responsive and helpful in anything we ask. He went out of the way and helped us with internet even when there was power issues due to heavy rain. Based on our request he arranged for cook and provided us with tasty homely vegetarian food which is otherwise a challenge in the area. My parents thoroughly enjoyed being there and we all felt like we are leaving behind our family while returning. We would definitely go back and be happy to meet the family again.

Beautiful house within the greenery with swimming pool, outdoor fire pit and a badminton court. Care takers Faisal and Kelu were very welcoming and made our stay easy.

My parents and I had the most wonderful stay at Vindhya's place. The pictures don't do the place justice, it is absolutely beautiful. With the seaside view and breeze from the balcony(from each of the rooms!) and the beach just being a direct walk from the house, one couldn't possibly ask for a better place. The house had all the amenities as needed; and the caretaker Mr. Dillu was always available for any help, and very refreshing in his spirits and humor. Hope to stay again here, and highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful has-got-it-all getaway :)

For a weekend getaway this is the ultimate place to be in. Surrounded by Tea Estate , approximately a 500-600 m road leads to the property. There is a river which just flows next to the property you can walk there and take a dip or enjoy the surroundings. The home is well equipped and from furniture till washroom fittings everything is sparkling new and well maintained. Night time the place looks more beautiful as you can hear the river flowing from distance. A must visit if you want a break from the daily hustle.

Peaceful, Clean, Simple, Clutter free, Homely Waking up to birds in the morning and going to bed after looking at the starry sky has been an experience that will stay with us for a really long time. Soochipara waterfall is really close and so are some of the entertainment spots. In house kitchen is outstanding, we really enjoyed food, hospitality and the fast service. Mr Ansar does his job perfectly and knows about the local spots which is really helpful in planning the day.

It's good property, well maintained and in front of the beach. Conservative society couldn't recommend for friends group.

had a little weekend getaway at @Meluhadham Kalpetta. a very unique property, perfect for a quiet, peaceful stay. found them through airbnb, hosts were very welcoming and their services were great. would definitely recommend if you are looking for a calm and relaxing stay.
