I asked my mother recently what her favorite part of our entire Greece trip was and she answered, “The Landscape View House near Knossos Palace.” We had a little trouble navigating our rental car and our host offered to drive to the airport and guide us in. They also had a homemade pasta waiting for us on arrival. The home was serene and surrounded by beautiful gardens. Hand painted murals and artwork adorned the walls. It was truly enchanting, from atmosphere to hospitality.

A little piace of heaven! This is not just an incredibly beautiful villa with a gorgeous garden and pool. There comes so much more with this stunning location, from the peaceful surroundings to Irina's attention to detail and kindness. If you are looking for a place to relax, recharge and enjoy Crete far from tourist spots in complete privacy this is your place.

This was one of the best houses I stayed in - really modern and great internal design. The two bathrooms are a rarity in Greece and we were really happy that we had them. We enjoyed the very comfortable beds and the pillows. A fully equipped kitchen was also a nice element to the perfect stay. Need to know that the village is on a hill and there is a narrow cobbled street (no direct access by car), but there is a small parking about 150m away from the house.

Die Unterkunft von Heike war super gepflegt und hatte alles was das Herz begehrte. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und unsere Zeit sehr genossen! Heike war auch beim Tag unserer Anreise vor Ort und hat uns persönlich viele hilfreiche Tipps gegeben und uns alles nötige erklärt. Sie war auch jederzeit schnell für uns erreichbar. Utensilien fürs Grillen von Fleisch und Fisch waren auch vollständig vorhanden. Die umliegenden Kleinstädte mit zahlreichen Lokalitäten sind mit dem Auto schnell und leicht zu erreichen. Wer sportlich ist, schafft es auch zu Fuß :) . Aber auch zu Hause kann man die Seele gut baumeln lassen, entweder in einer Hängematte oder einer Liege.

We had a wonderful stay at the earthouse! The house was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for a relaxing stay. The location was great, and we truly appreciated the peaceful atmosphere. Our host was incredibly kind, responsive, and always available to answer any questions, which made our experience even better. I highly recommend this place and would love to come back in the future!

Eirinis home was first class. Clean, spacious and bright. Decor tasteful and had everything. She sure not stingy which is great for travelers from afar who cant carry liquids and shampoos etc. She has thought of everything. Certainly will return. Best Airbnb ever. Congratulations! Πολύ όμορφο και προσεγμένο διαμέρισμα και οικοδομή γενικά! Το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα!

Πολύ όμορφος χώρος, άνετος και καθαρός με εύκολη πρόσβαση σε κεντρικά σημεία.. Ο οικοδεσπότης ευγενέστατος και εξυπηρετικός! Μακράν από τους καλύτερους οικοδεσπότες που έχω συναναστραφεί.

When we arrived at the apartment, we were greeted by Katerinas father who showed us everything in the apartment and the surrounding with the whirlpool and the garden. This was already a fantastic beginning. In the apartment we were greeted by a homemade frittata and tons of fresh fruit. We had trouble to do eat all of this. The provided ground coffee and all the other things in the fridge including a bottle of wine and Raki was making us smile and feel like at home. Even in the washing machine there were some washing pods provided. Wow! We had a really good time and we got a lot of good support from Katerina and her family (super sweet). We liked that we were allowed to separate the waste for recycling, we do the same at home and this is needed everywhere in the world. The apartment was more than spacious enough for us two and the outside sitting possibilities were used a lot for our breakfasts.

We had a great stay! The appartment is small, but has everything you need. We received great recommendations from Maria and loved the pastries from Costa's bakery! Some restaurants, a supermarket and the beach are in walking distance. If you have a rental, it's easy to find a parkingspot close to the appartment.

L'edificio di Andreas è il più bello di Kalamaki, dal punto di vista estetico e funzionale, per la cura dei dettagli, per gli spazi, la posizione sul mare, il mulino :) Inoltre, Andreas e sua moglie sono dei magnifici super-host, sempre disponibili, gentili, attenti alla pulizia (ogni due giorni con cambio di lenzuola e asciugamani). Questo aspetto fondamentale rende unica l'esperienza e il valore che solo tramite AirBnb vengono valorizzati. Infine, Kalamaki è uno dei paesini migliori di Creta: molto tranquillo, con un bellissimo lungomare con pochi e ottimi ristoranti e lidi che occupano solo una piccola parte lasciando libero tutto il resto. Il mare è bellissimo, la spiaggia è con sabbia a granellini grossi, e c'è una distesa di lastroni all'ingresso nell'acqua che è davvero piacevole. Vicino Kalamaki ci sono altri due dei migliori paesini di Creta: Pitsidia, all'interno, super carino e con ottimi ristoranti, e poco dopo la meravigliosa Matala, in una piccola baia.

For the money we paid, we couldn't ask for more. Heraklion is my home town and finding my way round wasn't going to be an issue, but even if I was an unaware foreigner on his first visit there I wouldn't be troubled whatsoever. George was always available on the phone and helpful. The studio was spotless and functional as quoted in the advert. The immersion heater would heat the water within minutes, while the air-condition was handy. The main advantage of this place though is its location: there is everything you need right at your feet and if you are the pedantic kind of tourist the choice laid out in front of you will put your mind to rest. Within less than half a mile radius you have more bars, cafeterias, restaurants and shops your palate can handle. Only question is... do you know where you are going? I am Greek, so I do. What a great spacious apartment and even better location,.. and with a panoramic sea view from the spacious balcony/terrace. What more do you need? And chose Kalamaki over Matala (just visit) if you want to relax.

Le logement est vraiment tres bien situé, très accesible a pied et on peut facilement se garer dans les rues aux alentours. Le logement était très propre et correspondait parfait à la description. Le vrai plus est la machine à laver ! George est un hôte exceptionnel, très à l’écoute et disponible !

Πανέμορφο πλήρως ανακαινισμένο και εξοπλισμένο διαμέρισμα. Τοποθεσία εξαιρετική, μέσα στο κέντρο, χωρίς φασαρία και με όμορφη θέα στο πάρκο Θεοτοκόπουλου. Τα σεντόνια για τα παραπάνω άτομα που θα έμεναν στον καναπέ ήταν έτοιμα και μας περίμεναν εκεί. Δεν χρειάστηκε επικοινωνία με την άρια καθώς όλα ήταν τέλεια. Από τις καλύτερες εμπειρίες στην πλατφόρμα!

Sehr tolles Air Bnb, super bequemes Bett, Küche komplett ausgestattet und alles super sauber! Das Meer ist paar Minuten Fußweg entfernt und die Bushaltestelle ist auch in der Nähe. Sehr sehr freundlicher Gastgeber. Empfehlen wir weiter!

Byron’s space is beautiful, modern, and extremely comfortable. The parking was easy and convenient, and we had access to everything we needed for our stay in Heraklion. We would definitely stay here again!

The pictures don’t lie! A-MA-ZING view on the balcony! Kostis even sent us plenty of recommandation ahead of time to help us planning our trip. The appartment is on the 4th floor, but there is an elevator. The bed is really confortable and the appartment itself made it feel like home with all the plants and the lights.

Kleine aber feine Unterkunft! Sehr sauber, alles nötige vorhanden. Die Kommunikation war schnell, einfach und sehr freundlich. :) Der Strand ist wirklich direkt vor der Tür (max. 1 Minuten zu Fuß), die dazu passende Strandbar mit kostenfreien Liegen ist auch direkt vor Ort. 🌊🍹🌞 Der einzige Verbesserungsvorschlag wäre ein Staubsauger oder Besen. Nach 9 Tagen gelangen auch bei großer Vorsicht Sand oder Dreck in die Wohnung, es wäre praktisch gewesen, diesen entfernen zu können. Gerne wieder! 🫶🏻
