This house was wonderful for myself, my parents, my 2 brothers, sister in law, and 2 nieces! The pool was in use from sun up to sun down. Plenty of space to spread out and relax. My mom was able to navigate between her wheelchair and walker, which meant all the world. I have stayed in many airbnbs. What sets this one apart, besides the gorgeous house, pool, and amenities, was the way everything was stocked. There were enough extra towels for all the in and outs of the pool. Anyone who has stayed at an airbnb with a pool can relate to not enough towels. Not the case here!! Also, plenty of extra toilet paper. And the good tp! How many times have I had to stop during my vacation to buy extra TP. Not at this house! It had everything I needed!! Including washing machine tabs, so I could keep up with the laundry. Tons of extra plates, silverware, cups! EXCELLENT communication from Mary. I am sure our family will be back to this Oasis!

Rob's place is fantastic! This is our second year renting for an annual Halloween gathering and this home is perfectly equipped. There's more than enough personal and private space for big groups + fur babies. We love using the hot tub and the theatre. The grounds are stunning, with great views and a lot of privacy, while still close enough to town to run out for anything we needed. The hosts anticipated our needs and even added some lovely spooky decorations to enhance our weekend. We can't recommend this property or the hosts highly enough. We'll definitely be returning!

Beautiful house in a very scenic and cozy area. Close access to the nearby town but also was a great nature retreat. The house was very clean and the perfect hangout house for 10-15 people. Kayaking in the river was also a unique experience that we very much enjoyed. Would absolutely recommend this house to anyone looking for a relaxing and fun retreat with many things to do!!!

What an amazing weekend! This was a wonderful house and host. Everything was convenient, cozy and peaceful at the house. Rick was on the spot in listening to our questions and gave helpful instructions as needed. We would definitely stay at Allegan Fields again, if Rick would have us. What an excellent weekend getaway!

we stayed at Melissa's home for a long weekend because we were attending an event at the wings event center. it was a 20-30 minute drive from the venue every day, but I feel that it was worth it! The kids loved to play in the pool before bed. The beds were very comfortable. We liked having the grill available to cook meals on as well. Really, the only complaint (if you could call it that) was that there were some ladybugs and stink bugs in the home, but it is an older home in a country setting, so it was expected. It did not bother us to take care of them at all. overall, we had a great stay and would book this home again in the future

Perfect location for a wedding at Gable Hill. Loved that everyone had their own rooms and not a bunch of bunk beds. Highly recommend!

Great stay! Plenty of space for a large family or multiple families. The fully stocked kitchen came in great use.

We do a family trip each year with 10 of us (6 adults and 4 kids). This was by far the best house we rented. Very clean and plenty of room for all of us. Michelle is a great host. I reached out to her a few times during our stay and she responded very quickly. Of course the pool is the highlight. Kids and adults had a blast and especially loved the slide and diving board. But we loved that the kitchen is right there next to the pool room so no missing out if your the cook. We used the projection TV in the pool room to watch a movie before putting the kids to bed and the three bathrooms on the first floor worked great. Michelle allows a noon check in and check out. So refreshing compared to most other rentals. That extra time is so appreciated. We hope to return next year.

Beautiful place to stay on the water! I stayed with my bridal party to get ready for my wedding, and then relaxed with my HUSBAND🥰 very nice hosts and communicated with me quickly and easily. Would stay here again!

House was in great condition and well set up clean and comfortable

the place was nice. it could use some extra cleaning. such as the bathroom toilets were not clean the kitchen floors could use another moped. there are a LOT of beautiful things but a little to many things to break the vases and artificial flowers. we love the number of towels. leave 1-2 garbage bags. the Host is very nice and adhered to our calls as soon as possible. Over all we loved the place and the location. the house is nice and we enjoyed our stay. we love the fact that there were seasoning and other items for cooking. the Cafe bar was exciting 🫶🏾

The space was clean, and the layout was both cozy and functional, offering plenty of room to unwind after a long day at our event. It was the perfect balance of comfort & convenience, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay during our trip.

Sheila was very helpful and clear before the day of the reservation, and the house was nice and definitely fit what we were looking for. Good area that is close to campus, and nice sized place.

Every detail was considered, from the well-equipped kitchen to the comfortable beds. We especially loved the great selection of games that made our evenings so much fun – perfect for gathering around the fire and enjoying quality time together. The picturesque lake view was the cherry on top, creating a serene backdrop for a truly relaxing getaway. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable retreat. I can’t wait to come back and enjoy the lake in the Summer!! This is a great year round spot.

Wife writing review!!… I read the reviews before booking a place and everyone was spot on! Dylan’s place is sooo nice! Comfy beds and great shower with great water pressure are my top priorities and Dylan’s place delivers. In addition, the kitchen and bathroom are stocked with extras that I just found very considerate and thoughtful. The fenced in backyard made it a great play area for our pup. Lots of fun games out there for the humans to enjoy as well! I loved watching the sunrise in the backyard and the sunset over the lake in the front. Large beautiful windows showcase the stunning lake view across the street which was my favorite. The house is on a fairly busy street. The noise wasn’t a problem for us. It could be an issue for really sensitive sleepers. Overall, we had a great time. We will definitely add this one to our list!! Thanks Dylan!

Came to Portage for work and found this great Airbnb. The host was very responsive from first contact and friendly. As well as proactive to make sure we had a great experience and had anything that we needed. The rooms are spacious and warm and felt like my home away from home. The neighborhood is nice and quiet with pleasant neighbors as well. If you ever come out to Portage I recommend giving this place a chance and staying here you won’t regret it. Definitely worth every penny and more. 10/10

We ran into an issue where the fridge wasn’t operating correctly and Christopher was quick to rush over to look at it and then when he couldn’t get it working, he was quick to offer alternative solutions.
