Another wonderful weekend getaway at Stephaney's place. We love fishing off the pier, relaxing on the porch with the beautiful view of the lake, and the coziness of the cottage. Our pup is so happy to have room to run and swim. Great breweries and restaurants in neighboring towns. A highlight of our summer.

I needed help one time and got a response very quickly. The space was quiet and clean. My daughter and I felt safe there.

I had an amazing stay at Scott Lake! The building where the AirBnB is located is absolutely beautiful, and I loved learning about its history. The area is perfect—private and peaceful, yet with plenty to do. My friend and I had a fantastic time kayaking on the lake and spending the evening by the bonfire under the stars. We’re already looking forward to visiting this place again!

Brittany and Joe are the best hosts! Extremely nice, thoughtful, and had excellent communication. The property has everything you need and is very clean. The view of the river was beautiful especially during snowfall. Access to Battle Creek was super easy and we had no trouble making it to Kellogg Arena in under 30 mins. There are plenty of nearby stores, we did Walmart pickup for groceries and two close Dollar General locations. There is also Pizza Hut for delivery and a variety of typical fast food options. I’m so thankful we found Thornapple River Retreat for our trip for this year’s Winter Classic Invitational gymnastics meet.

“Room with a view” is very accurate. I stayed in the bedroom and it was as described. Clean and comfortable. My two favorite things were walking the back pasture through the woods and finding a log to hangout on for a while and then having a bonfire under the stars. I would definitely come back. Not only was the place peaceful and serene it was clean and perfect. She allows you in to her barn to visit with the horses. the little dogs were great. 1 of the young ladies gave me hay to feed 1 of the horses. the sunset last night was beautiful. A great way to celebrate 20 years of marriage.

Great stay as usual! We’re regulars staying at Stephaney’s place and will continue to come back each year. Beautiful sunsets, picturesque and peaceful area. Nothing not to love at Stephaney’s!

We had a great family vacation at Santiago's property. The location was the main reason we got it as we have family and friends living in walking distance. Loved the interior decoration. The view from the bay was amazing.

Hows this for the review: I had an incredible stay at this beautiful winter lake house! The cozy ambiance, complete with a roaring fire, made for the perfect winter escape. The setup was thoughtfully designed, offering both comfort and style. There were plenty of seating areas, perfect for relaxing with a book, enjoying a cup of coffee, or gathering with friends and family. Every detail was considered, from the well-equipped kitchen to the comfortable beds. We especially loved the great selection of games that made our evenings so much fun – perfect for gathering around the fire and enjoying quality time together. The picturesque lake view was the cherry on top, creating a serene backdrop for a truly relaxing getaway. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable retreat. I can’t wait to come back and enjoy the lake in the Summer!! This is a great year round spot.

Wife writing review!!… I read the reviews before booking a place and everyone was spot on! Dylan’s place is sooo nice! Comfy beds and great shower with great water pressure are my top priorities and Dylan’s place delivers. In addition, the kitchen and bathroom are stocked with extras that I just found very considerate and thoughtful. The fenced in backyard made it a great play area for our pup. Lots of fun games out there for the humans to enjoy as well! I loved watching the sunrise in the backyard and the sunset over the lake in the front. Large beautiful windows showcase the stunning lake view across the street which was my favorite. The house is on a fairly busy street. The noise wasn’t a problem for us. It could be an issue for really sensitive sleepers. Overall, we had a great time. We will definitely add this one to our list!! Thanks Dylan!

This house was perfect for our family of three! Although we had a family of 5 visit for a day and had plenty of space for all of us to enjoy a jump in the lake and tacos for dinner. The lakefront is serene and has a beautiful sunrise in the morning. We opened the blinds and enjoyed the view every morning! This is a lake house so be prepared to sweep the spiders from the outdoors spaces, including around the doors and the dock. The yard has quite a few spots for kids to get injured so walk around first, don't run like my poor kid did, she tripped on the sidewalk as soon as we arrived and busted her knee. There were band aids and most other amenities including an Ol school Mr. Coffee pot, a good selection of cookware and a flat top grill with grilling tools. The yard is small and the lakefront is mucky but the more it gets used, the better it will get. Roma park is a great place for a swimming beach at $12/ day parking and has other activities to plan. Plan ahead and rent a boat too!

Gorgeous home, wonderful lake view, thoughtful touches for all ages. Well equipped kitchen with lots of counter space. We especially enjoyed the Karaoke machine and themed rooms. Great place for our large group!!
