I booked this beautiful home after my first reservation and host cancelled on me due to the storms. Well, I can say… we are so happy with our stay. It was exactly as described and even better than expected. April really is a one of a kind host, so good that I had to take notes for my own Air bnb adventure. She thought of everything! I’ve never had a better stocked kitchen. We always cook and make a big meal and we sure did not want for anything. We were even greeted with a local baked good and extra sheets and blankets for the dogs. These hosts were the best I’ve had in Michigan, if not the whole country. I’m thankful for people who truly consider someone’s stay and thinks of it all. Thank you again to the hosts. The Cabin was spotless and one of my favorite features was the deer lights.

We had a lovely stay! The cottage was so cute and I just loved how they decorated it! We absolutely loved the hot tub and used it every day! We decided to walk down to the beach through all the snow, would love to stay in the summer when we can actually go swimming!! Ate at Peegeos twice during our stay, so close and so good, get the cheesecake! So delicious and made from scratch! We will definitely be back!

The cottage was great, clean and had everything we needed. Beautiful location right on the river. It was clear that our host has put a lot of thought and effort into ensuring that guests enjoy their stay and we did. Would not hesitate to stay again.

I asked my 9, 8 & 5 year old about the best part of our stay, and they all agreed that the hot tub, fire pit for s’mores and the board games were the best part. I enjoyed having a quiet space to get homework done with a view of the water. This was the perfect get away for a family of 5! We enjoyed staying inside, cooking meals & enjoying the house itself. It is beautiful inside and out, exactly like the photos and had everything we needed for our stay. We can’t wait to come back during the summer time to go out on the lake!

We (and our dogs) had an amazing time at Nathan's beautiful home. The setting is ideal—the house is right on the water, the amenities are fantastic, and the neighborhood is beautiful and serene. The house has everything you would want. There is a sweet deck and outdoor area along with a dock and your own private beach—the next house in either direction is almost a half-a-mile away. The perimeter around the house is essentially fully-fenced, which allowed us to swim, paddle board, and hang outside with the pups without worries. Nathan is a great host: He checked in throughout our stay to make sure everything was going well. He provided clear instructions about the house and its features, as well as great local recommendations. We really can't say enough great things about our stay. It was by far the most peaceful and relaxing trip we've had and look forward to coming back soon!

We loved staying here for a little weekend getaway! Dorene and John were so helpful and kind. The place was awesome so close to everything! Everything was so cozy and well put together, the hot tub with view is awesome!! We for sure will be back

We had a great time with family, 4 couples. The house was clean and very comfortable. The beds were cozy. Beautiful, private space right on the trails. Andreia was friendly. Very easy to check in and out. Highly recommend.

this place was a perfect getaway. the area of down town traverse city is amazing even when it’s cold out. lots of restaurants and wineries to go try. the cabin itself was super cute and cozy but still a modern finish. the hot tub was amazing and made the cabin whole. i absolutely would recommend this cabin to anyone who wants to travel to traverse city.

Melanie was a fantastic host with a beautiful home. She was so very helpful in a really difficult situation. She was proactive with a lot of helpful information, responsive when we had questions, and was understanding when we had to leave early. This place would be wonderful to visit in the summer when we're on an actual vacation. Great access to the park and lake, the yard was great for our kids and dogs. Definitely would recommend to anyone looking for a nice small town getaway.

Had a great weekend getaway at this cute, clean cabin! Parking is limited but we had no issues as we only had a truck and enclosed trailer. Firewood included, coffee and few snacks provided. Host was very responsive and friendly.

Was very nice to get away and just relax. There was a storm hitting the area and very cold and windy but the home was very comfortable. Felt at home and will definitely be back over the summer!

This was our first repeat Airbnb experience, we enjoyed Laurie’s place that much! It’s peaceful and the lake is lovely, no matter the time of year. Close to Short’s brewing and Schuss mountain, not far from Boyne, it’s quiet but still well located to have a great up north adventure. It’s also well stocked with toys and books, which is a great plus for our family! And Laurie is super responsive and kind. We might stay a third time!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at Eric’s place! It was a mild weekend for Michigan winter, and we enjoyed cross country skiing at the nearby XC Headquarters and a delicious dinner at the Cut River Grille. The living room was comfy for a game night with our travel companions. Eric was easy to contact and the place was a perfect cozy cottage for our weekend! The little touches for hospitality, like having the driveway plowed/salted, coffee filters, extra new toothbrushes, and extra blankets were greatly appreciated. Looking forward to our next trip up north!

Great spot, exactly what we needed! It’s small and cozy, in a quiet area 10-15 minutes drive from anything you need. Smooth check in, clean spot, had whatever amenities you could think of. One thing: If you are taller than me (6’4) you may have some trouble with the bathroom. I made it work but were I an inch taller I wouldn’t have been able to fit for certain activities 😂

Beautiful peaceful place , private and easy to find , clean, neat . I loved it only suggestions is bring spray for the nats inside they were annoying it was better sitting outside no bug problems. Lol 😆 🤣

Place was walking distance to torch lake. Loved it.

We had a wonderful stay with our dog and two young kids. Beautiful location, full of amenities, and very comfortable. Shawn was very responsive, helpful, and had great recommendations. Highly recommend!

We had a great weekend with our adult kids. We planned a quick buggy trip with our daughter and son in law to spend some time together and play in the woods as we like to say. Home was close to trails. Lake was a plus for us! We will plan a trip in the warmer months to spend some time on the lake. Beautiful home. Kitchen has all you need to cook just like home. Bathrooms stocked as well. Thanks Ben we will definitely be back 👍🏼

The cottage was exactly what was advertised and the pictures were accurate. The cottage was very warm, inviting and clean. We had a great time on the water and the location was great to go to other areas such as Traverse City as well. Very nice property!

Wonderful stay over the weekend! Jerry was the most accommodating Airbnb host I have expirenced to date. Place was very nice and met all the needs of home. Plenty of room in the driveway for multiple snowmobile trailers. 5 star stay and I hope to be back again when in the area.

The home is perfect for a family with children. Very clean, everything was great! I recommend to everyone! We will definitely come back here 🙂

I will start by saying the location is perfect! There is so much to do and close to everything. The cottage is absolutely adorable, tidy, comfy and cozy. Not to mention the breathtaking views. We had a wonderful week. The only downfall, is that it had to end & we had to come back home to reality. I highly recommend this cottage, it is truly a gem.
