Well the apartment was very well maintained! neat & tidy it's has an beautiful sea view from balcony which is best part of the apartment! beds are comfy! perfect setup for Netflix & chill! Just one thing i felt missing is the mirror in the room. The building is very old. Onsen was okay. overall it was a very peaceful stay

Wow Billy’s place made us envious and think of lottery wins :-) it is the beach house of our dreams. Stunning! We loved it. If you have the chance don’t miss out on visiting it. The area was wonderful too. The Hana steak restaurant was expensive but AMAZING! Billy gave us tons of help with recommendations and went above and beyond! Perfect place to spend my birthday! Thank you Billy!

Beautiful house in a quiet area where you can enjoy the sound of the ocean and various song birds!

Loved our quick stay here. House is clean & spotless while having all the things we needed to feel right at home. The place has character and is decorated well, doesn't feel like some heartless airbnb unit, feels like a home. Very much appreciated that! Steps from the beach Comfortable onsen bath Nearby supermarket Friendly and helpful hosts I'd definitely stay again if I'm ever in this neck of the woods. Cheers!

Spend a couple days exploring The Izu Peninsula in late March/early April & decided to spend a night in Shimoda. Naomi’s was the perfect fit. Easy to find, more than enough space to sleep our party of four & a responsive host. Because we only spent the night we weren’t able to make use of all the amenities the property had to offer, but from what we could see, it was steps away from the beach with places to eat nearby & some nice outdoor amenities perfect for the warmer months. House was immaculate with some minor issues (fridge & tv) but the positives far outweighed them, especially since we were only looking for a place to warm up and rest. Naomi’s place totally fit the bill. We would definitely come back if we’re back in the area.

I will say this to be selfish to say I want to keep it a secret but I cannot because it is too wonderful not to share. This home was understated and I mean this in the best way. We just stayed one night but I wish we could’ve stayed a month. I hope to return to relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of this home and the area. Our host was friendly, polite and greeted us with a warm smile. He stood outside the home to make sure we found our ways and checked us in to make sure we were comfortable. Gave us wonderful suggestions for places to have dinner. One restaurant he recommended was fantastic, very local and food and service was amazing. We tried the Golden Eye fish (couldn’t tell you what it’s called locally) but we had it two different ways of preparing and they were delicious and sashimi was some of the best we’ve ever ate. Jun also reminded us of an amazing bakery just a stroll away and this is bakery is NOT to be missed. Thank you Jun for a wonderful stay.

Clean and very spacious, on 2 floors with kitchen, shower and bathroom on main floor and bedroom (sleeping on mats on tatamis) with sink and little bathroom on top floor. Had everything we needed. The view from the place was amazing. The host was friendly and responsive. It was very windy when we were there so the wind can be loud - I suggest bringing ear plugs. The train station is about 12 min walk and there are restaurants and grocery stores nearby too. Shimoda park is just beside the house which is nice.
