We absolutely loved our stayed at the shack! Plenty of room for our family to move about and it was great to sit outside for some of our meals. And the view from the deck was beautiful at any time of the day or night. Very peaceful location which made for great sleep ins, and we enjoyed our morning walk to the local cafe for a coffee. We'll def be back. Thanks for being such welcoming hosts!

Beautiful home. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was beautifully presented and had absolutely everything you needed, plus more. The back decking and dining was so lovely. So many spaces to make use of. Nice and close to the beach, just a short walk. close enough to the shops to walk also. Highly recommend. One of the best holiday homes we've stayed in.

We loved our stay at Sam’s place. Island Beach is absolutely stunning, so peaceful and quiet and private, but close enough to Penneshaw and activities to keep us amused. Authenticity Beachhouse was so well situated, with great sea views, and had heaps of space and amenities perfect for our family of four…with an extra room to spare. Sam has thought of everything, and we loved all of the little extras he provided that helped make our holiday more fun - boogie boards, snorkel equipment, beach chairs and tent, lots of outdoor and indoor seating, plus the Hamptons style decor was so lovely. Thanks for a really lovely stay Sam. Our kids have already asked when we are coming back to visit again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely house. Its location is superb, just a short walk from the picturesque Island Beach. We appreciated the additional amenities provided, such as the beach buggy and boogie boards, which added to our enjoyment. The outdoor shower with hot water was a delightful way to end each day. The house offers plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, with separate areas for adults and kids to relax. While there were frequent visits from kangaroos on the porch, requiring us to keep the dogs on leads, this did not detract from our overall experience. We look forward to staying here again in the future!

Our stay at the Sleepy Hollow near Stokes Bay KI was wonderful. We chose the place based on the location as we were spending time with friends who were staying nearby but were pleasantly impressed with the high standard and cleanliness of the accommodation. It is beautifully and tastefullly decorated with everything you need for a very comfortable stay. The hot tub was a lovely addition! The location is quite remote and you’d need a car but it’s only a 5 minute drive to gorgeous Stokes Bay. I would recommend a visit and will stay again in the future.

Great place to rest at the end of a long day running around KI. Very peaceful location. Clean and roomy accommodation.

A clean and tidy place that was exactly as described. More than enough space for our group of 7 and the large couch was fun to chill and watch a movie at the end of the night. The stand out feature is of course the view from the balcony.

Everything was perfect, we had a wonderful stay. We would not hesitate recommending the accommodation to anyone. Thank you Stack and Helen, love what you have done with this beautiful homestead. Definitely needed to stay longer though!

We truly enjoyed our trip to Kangaroo Island and our stay at this wonderful place. The location is very convenient for visiting Kingscote, and the room has everything we needed. Although we were just two people, the space is definitely big enough for two couples or a small family. We had a wonderful Chinese New Year here, and the BBQ grill the host provided made it possible for us to enjoy even more delicious meals. Highly recommend!

What a magical place! We loved our stay here and can't wait to come back again. The cabin itself is comfortable, cosy and has everything you need. The surroundings are incredible and the view down to the water is the best ever. Truly peaceful.

Great location and charming interior. Plenty of space with everything you need. Emu bay is a beautiful area and has a lovely little cafe and playground at the beach. It’s a great place for families. We enjoyed several koalas in front, as well as echinea and kangaroos around the house. We also appreciated the local welcome goodies. The very nice neighbour next door even let us taste his yummy homegrown tomatoes. It was such a lovely stay and we would book this property again.

My husand and i stayed here for 6 days and ended up eloping at the accommodation site! It is truly beautiful and there are plently of fish to catch at the beach. Our location host tony was truly amazing and went above and beyond to make the trip unforgettable! We plan to make this our anniverasy spot! 10/10 the place is perfect for two looking to imerse themseves in the island with almost panoramic views from the bed and an almost private beach, this is your spot!
