j'ai passé un séjour merveilleux chez Jeanette pour mon 1er mois en 🇬🇲 ce lieu est un havre de paix avec un grand jardin ressourçant & dépaysant. emplacement idéal : proche des commodités, à 2 pas du Serrekunda Market. quant au logement : chambre spacieuse, lit confortable avec moustiquaire et vous disposez même d'une terrasse. accès sécurisé, sanitaires propres, cuisine & parties communes bien entretenues. l'hôte est bienveillante, arrangeante et de bon conseil. elle a même dessiné une carte du coin pour les guests, ce qui mérite d'être souligné ! d'ailleurs, elle a de très bons goûts musicaux et c'est une excellente joueuse de ping-pong 🏓 je dois également parlé de son chien 🐶 Tala est affectueux & attachant, il a rendu le séjour encore + agréable. merci à Jeanette ainsi qu'à toute la famille pour leur hospitalité, leur disponibilité et leurs good vibes 🙏🏾 à l'image du surnom du pays “The Smiling Coast of Africa” 🌍 je recommande vivement et je reviendrais avec grand plaisir :)

Great accommodation, homely, private and secure. Helpful, friendly staff and Jade is a kind and responsive host. Ideal location very close to bars, restaurants, exchange bureau and local tour operators.

Peter's place is by far the nicest place we have stayed in the Gambia. It was spotlessly clean and well maintained. There were plenty of options to sit comfortably outside and the pool is a good size and cleaned daily. The kitchen is very well equipped. Ebrima and Fo are lovely guys and couldn't do enough for us. The place is set in a quiet location however it is only a 10 minute walk to the main road. We were lucky enough to be visited by monkeys and a wide variety of birds.

We spent 3 weeks at this place for my sister’s wedding and the personalised welcome from Madame York and the team warmed our hearts. Truly a very beautiful place that’s had a lot of love put into it. Can’t speak highly enough of Madame York and her team. Modou was always reachable and an excellent communicator whatever issues we had we dealt with. The place is very clean I honestly looked out for roaches and could not find any! The décore is impressive and the kitchen is well stocked. Beds are massive and super comfortable. Place is right on the country’s main highway so there is a bit of noise pollution but the easy access and location made up for that easily for our stay. We felt very safe and the place is definitely secure enough for children and my nephews made sure they got in enough pool time. It’s a place we’ll definitely choose to stay at again.

There are plenty of tourist apartments on the Airbnb that are similar if not nicer than the beach hotels. But when I travel, I like to live in neighborhoods, among the citizens who live in that country. That’s why I stay in Alieu’s home. It’s literally his home, with his room locked off, but three more bedrooms are available for guests. It’s not on a busy paved street and there will be an occasional goat walking by and definitely a dog sleeping on the street in the dust. But it’s a lovely home, with solar power back up, AC in every room, a gas stove and a good refrigerator and a spacious living room and everything I need including Wi-Fi. Things go wrong as usual in life, and Alieu has always responded immediately. And his guard Wally is always on premises to take care of smaller issues. All in all it feels like we’re living in a Gambian home in a Gambian neighborhood. And walking to the corner shop to buy some water or some eggs were the only tourists around.

Lo que digamos en esta nota se queda corto para describir nuestra experiencia en Gambia y en Tedugal guest house. Ha sido increíble y para nosotros ha resultado un gran descubrimiento ya que no sabíamos casi nada de Gambia. Es un país totalmente recomendable, bonito y con una gente realmente excepcional. En Tedugal nos hemos sentido en todo momento como en casa. Todo ha estado genial, es un sitio tranquilo en el que uno puede descansar y convivir con gente de Gambia. Nosotros teníamos reservada la planta superior y de verdad que era como estar en casa porque teníamos nuestro propio lavabo, nuestra cocina y nuestro salón y todo en perfectas condiciones y si había algún problema lo resolvían al momento. Ademas todo el staff es encantador: Bala el director nos ha atendido en todo momento. Aminata, Sainabou, Rooiyyah y Fatou se encargaban de la cocina y la limpieza y tenemos que decir que son cocineras excepcionales. Yussuf y Pa, trabajadores de Tedugal, siempre amables con nosotros. Y finalmente Edu y Bakary, nuestros compañeros y amigos de viaje, que han estado en todo momento con nosotros y cuidándonos para que estuviésemos lo mejor posible. What we say in this note falls short to describe our experience in Gambia and in Tedugal guest house. It has been incredible and for us it has been a great discovery since we knew almost nothing of Gambia. It is a totally recommendable country, beautiful and with a really exceptional people. At Tedugal we have felt at home all time. Everything has been great, it is a quiet place where one can rest and live with people from Gambia. We had booked the top floor and really it was like being at home because we had our own bath, our kitchen and our living room and everything in perfect conditions and if there was any problem they would solve it at the moment. Besides all the staff is lovely: Bala the manager has attended us at all time. Aminata, Sainabou, Rooiyyah and Fatou were in charge of the kitchen and the cleaning and we have to say that they are exceptional cooks. Yussuf and Pa, workers of Tedugal, always kind to us. And finally Edu and Bakary, our traveling companions and friends, who have been at all times with us and taking care of us to make it our best. We are extremely grateful to all the staff at Tedugal for making our stay in Gambia unforgettable and from here we send a greeting with affection to everyone.

I had an amazing stay at Ahmed and Safia’s place! The home was spotless, well-stocked with all the amenities I needed, and had a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Check-in and check-out were incredibly easy and flexible, making my trip stress-free. The location was super convenient—close to local attractions, restaurants, and transportation, making it easy to explore the area. Ahmed was responsive and made sure everything was perfect throughout my stay. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free Airbnb experience!

Ik kwam heel laat aan in de nacht. De receptie was heel vriendelijk, zelfs op dit uur. Mijn late vertrekuur is ook opgelost geweest met een supplement. Het contact met de eigenaars verliep ten allen tijde snel en duidelijk. Tijdens mijn verblijf wel door bed gevallen, al ben ik niet dik. Maar dit is opgelost door de maintenance van Forest View. Ik, persoonlijk dacht door de foto’s, dat er 2 slaapkamers waren maar hebben bed dan maar gedeeld. Alles was, qua comfort, aanwezig in studio. De sofa is daarentegen aan vervanging toe. Die zit heel oncomfortabel. Zowel leefruimte en slaapkamer is voorzien van airco. Je krijgt op regelmatige basis bezoek van vriendelijke aapjes op je terras die maar al te graag fruit smullen. Gambia kampt met regelmatige stroomonderbrekingen maar er is een reserve generator die dit snel oplost. De buurt zelf is aangenaam met alles vlakbij. Veel last van de uitgangsbuurt heb je niet. Er is een leuk zwembad die gedurende de volledige dag netjes wordt gehouden
