This is the best host, I have ever came in contact with all my years staying at different Airbnbs. The space is very pretty and has literally everything you need. I will always stay when I visit Indiana.

Liz is a great host. We’ve only been there in the winter (2) and haven’t gotten to enjoy what looks to be a beautiful outdoor relaxing setting!! House is in a good neighborhood I walked our dogs morning and night alone and felt very safe. House is very clean & private. She has all the amenities you need (minus a stove) but you can drive short distances to great restaurants and even fun little dive bars. Lassens Pub is a pretty nice sports bar type restaurant & the The Tin Ceiling is a great neighborhood divey bar Aurelio’s Pizza is the very best pizza in the area! We highly recommend Liz’s Charming Garden for your next stay in Homewood. It’s an easy drive into Chicago to spend your day and then it’s far enough away from the crazy of downtown Chicago at night when you’re done with your day in Chicago!! We will always stay at the Charming Garden when we go to Chicago!!

This is my first time using airbnb and I'm so happy I chose to stay with Bill. The property is beautiful, the surroundings are beautiful, the airbnb itself is beautiful and feels so comfortable and at home. Bill was very kind and helpful when I needed his help with anything and he even put salt down on the stairs and deck to ensure my partner and I wouldn't fall from ice! 10/10 would absolutely stay here again 0 questions asked. Only downside is we did encounter a couple stink bugs and some big beetle bug looking thing but the intruders were handled accordingly! Haha! Best Stay Ever! Thank You Bill! 😄

Such a great place if you want to escape the busy city life or are on the road. It’s quiet and cozy. Kitchen has everything you need. We felt very well rested after a good night sleep. Would stay again on our next road trip.

Margie is an excellent host and I highly recommend staying here!!! It was our first time in the area/Chicago and she was so helpful in so many ways. Super sweet & felt right at home. She also made us DELICIOUS brownies and gave us some cucumbers from her garden. The space was so clean and spacious and comfortable!!! And close to the train station!!!

Aaron was very accomodating..came in town for a funeral.....he was so helpful....

We loved our stay at Lupita and Jorge’s. Everything was beautifully decorated, super cozy, and had everything we needed. The beds were extremely comfortable! The blankets and rugs were also very soft. The hosts were communicative and responsive. Thank you for a great stay!

Was in town for my aunts birthday and needed a place to crash. Alan happily opened his home to me and my family. We thought the house was beautiful. It was exactly how the pictures looked online and it was clean. We don’t have anything bad to say about his place. And he was very kind to me and responded to everything I ever asked him. I can’t wait to book it again.

We had a fun stay in Joliet. The house was clean and we'll stocked. We loved the "retro" house, although the appliances were nice and up to date. I would definitely stay there again.

Marisa and Eric were great hosts! They were so accommodating and helpful with our travel plans! Their home was perfect and I would highly recommend it and we would definitely stay there again!

Cathy was an amazing host! Very helpful and accommodating. We moved from Arkansas to Illinois and were waiting to close on our home the closing date changed twice and Cathy allowed us to extend our stay .

Overall, the home was decorated nicely. It was very clean. Delbert had many amenities for the kitchen, because you never know what will be provided by the house. He was very responsive when I had a hard time with the lockbox and when we needed heat.

The River House is a real treat. We loved our stay there and Rhiannon was a very responsive and friendly host. We had everything we needed and being right on the Kankakee River was a bonus. The decor in the house is really cute and stylish. The beds were comfy and the shower was nice and hot with great water pressure. We felt right at home.

This is our 2nd time staying here and will use it again in May if available. Nice. Quiet. Clean! I loved the bathtub & shower. Wish the truck across the street didn't block driveway, but no control of that!

Beautiful location right on the river. My family loved fishing. Place was exactly as described, and the hosts were super responsive. We used the bbq, cooked meals and enjoyed our time together. Bonus was having two bathrooms! Would definitely book again!
