Heidi was a welcoming host, we asked to check in earlier and she was very accommodating. The place is exactly what it looked like in the pictures, cosy and enough room for 4 people. Perfect for a weekend getaway by the lake. Nice sauna. Would recommend 😊

Ihana kerrostaloasunto Hämeenlinnan keskustassa kauppojen kupeessa. Olen majoittunut asunnossa nyt kaksi kertaa, molemmat talvella, ja tällä kertaa peräti pari viikkoa. Voin vain kuvitella, miten viehättävä ympäristö on kesällä, kun lyhyen matkan päässä on kaupungin kaunis kesäkeskusta ja uimaranta Vanajaveden rannalla. Julkista liikennettä käyttäville sijainti on tosi hyvä, koska linja-autoasema on miltei vieressä, ja rautatieasemalta taas bussit kulkevat läheisen kauppakeskuksen pysäkille. Lisäksi bussiyhteydet niin keskussairaalaan kuin terveyskeskukseen ovat erinomaiset; tämä tiedoksi ihmisille, jotka kaipailevat majapaikkaa sairaaloissa asioinnin vuoksi.

The cottage is at a beautiful, peaceful location and we really enjoyed our overnight stay here. The cottage has everything you need! We went rowing, swimming, used the sauna many times and used the firepit to cook dinner. We were so glad the lake didn't have blue algae so we were able to go swimming. We bumped into Liisa briefly too and she was so lovely. Thank you! Kiitos!

Kaunis rauhallinen mökki rauhallisella paikalla omassa rauhassa pienen metsäjärven rannalla. Helposti olisimme viihtyneet pidempäänkin. 😊

Kaikki oli kuten ilmoituksessa oli luvattu. Majoittaja oli oikein ystävällinen ja auttoi paljon ennen matkaa. Loistavasta rantasaunasta vielä erityinen kiitos!

Great setup, it's a really beautiful site, a lot of games to play and really good BBQ station. Sauna was also amazing! Only minor nitpick is that the lake is across the road and the property isn't lakeside, but it's close enough. Also they have some really nice kayaks and SUP to borrow. Would recommend 😀

Loistava paikka ja kaikki oli kuten luvattiin. Siisti, mukava ja tilava paikka.

We had a really nice time at the house! They had Duplos, puzzles and a swing set for the kids, which they enjoyed a lot, as well as playing in the garden. The house is very well stocked, so a family of four can stay there comfortably. We took many trips to Tampere (Moomin Museum, Särkanniemi Park), Lahti, Luopioinen for swimming in the lake and enjoying a kids friendly beach, and of course to Helsinki a few times. You can hike in the woods, swim in the lake and use the rowing boat and enjoy the beautiful sunsets. We had a really great time there!

Upea mökki ja miljöö rauhoittumiselle sekä mökkiaktiviteeteille. Sopii erinomaisesti ihmisille jotka pitävät modernista mökkeilystä. Mökistä upeat maisemat järvelle. Viestittely sujui hyvin Lindan kanssa, suosittelen! Järvestä nousi ennätysahvenet👍🏻

Der Aufenthalt in Jarnos Wohnung war genau was ich in Finnland erhofft hatte! Bereits beim betreten wurden wir von kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten in Urlaubslaune versetzt und der Ausblick auf den See ist morgens wie Abends Traunhaft. Was den Aufenhalt perfekt gemacht hat war die umfassende Ausstattung. Neben Billard , Sauna und Boot für den See war in der Küche wirklich jedes Zubehör vorhanden und sogar Dinge wie ein Spielzeug-Fahrzeug oder Brettspiele waren da. Vorbereitetes Sauna Zubehör, Standmatten und ein Berg flauschiger Handtücher sorgten dafür das wir uns wie in einem SPA vorkamen. In der Nähe gibt es einen wunderschönen kleinen Strand und einen Grillplatz, aber man kann auch in der Hauseigenen Schaukel entspannen oder auf dem Wunderschön angelegten Pier die Sonne des Sees genießen. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig, wir haben mit 5 Erwachsenen und 3 Kindern super Platz gefunden. Zudem antwortet Jarno auf jede noch so kleine Frage in rekordzeit. Ich würde jederzeit wieder kommen!!

The house is on a beautiful lake in the finnish countryside, the surroundings and the views from the windows are magical. The place is really quiet and relaxing; the house is well furnished and has everything you could hope to find, including a private sauna. The communication was very prompt, we hope to stay here again in the future!

Our stay at Reuven’s house was perfect! He provided easy to follow directions and access instructions. The house was perfectly clean and set up for our arrival. Our family of 5 had a fabulous time, sitting by the fire, taking local walks, cooking a meal, stargazing and spending time in the large sauna. We took day trips to Helsinki for a delicious food and history tour and explored smaller local towns. The house is located within driving distance from Helsinki airport so it was convenient for our travels. We would happily return again and again to this house! We had an absolutely delightful stay at Merja's charming cottage. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. The cottage is a perfect blend of cozy comfort and rustic charm, impeccably clean and thoughtfully decorated with all the essentials provided. The peaceful surroundings offered a serene escape, with beautiful views that we enjoyed every morning with our coffee. As a Finn, I especially loved the saunas in the cottage and the beach sauna. The beach sauna used to be an original smoke sauna, which explains why the doors are surprisingly low. :D I loved that both saunas are wood-heated, with no electric saunas in sight. The lake is pristine and just perfect. We boated, swam, grilled, and relaxed on the sunny terrace (cottage #3). Merja was an exceptional host, always responsive and eager to ensure we had everything we needed. If you're looking for a tranquil retreat with a touch of Finnish hospitality, this cottage is a gem.
